Hi there everybody
anyone have an idea about the best bluetooth headset for HD2 , which is good for both phone call and music play??
I just wish the HD2 had voice dialing included like the last three HTC phones I have had, such a shame.

Hello:
I've got nothing to say but good things 'bout the Motorola S9HD BT Stereo headset. Discovery & setup for both music and phone pretty much automatic.
Sounds Great!

Folks,
I've been using this one on HD Jabra BT3030 Stereo. My HD2 is on its way and should be here wednesday the lastest but what I can say is that this one is really amazing. It is able to give you control over volume up/down, music rewind/forward and next/previous function of the HTC player. Having that you will never need to take it out of the case for making calls or hearing music. On HTC its also supporting the Voice calling.
But as I said, not tested it on HD2 yet. I will give it a try and post my result here as soon as my HD2 is there.
Indeed this dog tag"-Look is something you need to like but in my opinion its an eye catcher ;-)

BT3030 is a very nice HS, but there seems to be a problem with HD2, dont know if that exists with other headsets too.

it sound great....looking forward for your feedback
how to make the hd2 play music through the bluetooth headset? i have a sony headset added as a bluetooth device with the stereo headset option ticked. also i am able to use it for phone calls but not music.
I am using the bt3030 from jabra also, but instead of the jabra earbuds,i buyed senneheiser cx300 precision, combine this with srs wow hd and do some bluetooth tweaking like verry high bitrate etc and you got some booming bass on the head with nice and clear treble, and clear mid tones....whoooo
Sony Ericsson MW600 - Both for phone and stereo bluetooth. It has a small display, dipslays caller ID for contacts, you can adjust volume (although the slider takes a little getting used too, it is much more linear than the HD2 controls), has a 2.5mm headset jack so you can replace the headset with whatever you choose. Great sound reproduction from standard headphones. Fantastic battery life. Uses micro-usb to charge, so is compatible with HTC HD2 chargers. You can pair with multiple devices. Has worked flawlessly for me. Paid $75 AUS Dollars

the volume control is easy. the manual says that you need to slide across the whole slider to activate volume then you can just slide to the desired volume. works great. highly recommend this headset. also payed about $80 aud online for it.
Hi,
Personnaly, I am using IQUA BHS-701. It is light, good balance between quality and price. Very good sound (phone and music)good bass. It is the best one for jogging according my knwoledge. It has it's own volume contrôle, overiding the HD2 one. there is mini USB slot to charge it. The disign philosophie is close to the jabra. Reception disance is good. Finally it is a 83grams headfone and it last 10 hrs music.
Motorola S9 or Jaybird work great!
Both are "waterproof". I also use WOW (free ap) - try the Jaybird first - they won't be comfortable for everyone.
Hey guys,
just realesed another video about the HD2. This time i paired my HD2 with the Motorola MOTOROKR T05. Its a Bluetooth In-Car Speakerphone for calls and musicstream with a inbuild digital FM-Transmitter. You can pair any device with the T505 and play music or take calls with a inbuild speaker or via digital FM-Transmitter through your car speakers. Its possible to control the phone with the buttons on the T505. The T505 has a own battery so there is no need for a cable. It gets charged with any miniUSB cable where ever you get power.
Its a very easy and nice solution for your HD2 in your car. It makes it possible to have a legal call while driving (in germany you get in trouble when you touch your phone while driving) and listening to internet radiostreams .

What about hands free dialling?
I'm about to upgrade from my Touch Pro to the HD2.
I already have a T505 that i love (simple, reliable & small), but i'm wondering if you can get Voice Dialling up on the HD2 just like you can on the Touch Pro i currently have by just pushing the call button?
Thanks
Ben

hey, i missed the postman today but tomorrow i shall get back my hd2 and i can tell you exactly. by voice dailing you mean you push a button on the t505 and the hd2 askes you what number you whish to call and you speak out the saved name for it and hd2 starts calling the number?
well i didnt try this so far because i never used it before, as i remember right microsoft has an application for it? because i dont know if the hd2 has.
yep, that's what i meant.
I've realised now though that the HD2 doesn't have the feature built-in, even though the T505 works well for it.

T505 with HD2 Bluetooth
Hi
I have just bought a HD2 T9193 Aus version so its compatible with AT&T ..which it is.
I have a T505 (which I love) but does not allow voice commands... works great other wise...some one calls you or you dial manually from the list or favorites.. will keep looking for a solution... bummer
I can't seem to find a program which will route ALL audio to my mono bt earpiece. If there is such an app pls pst. If not, I'd like to help in the dev of such an app. Basicly, whenever the phone sees any audio bt device it will start routing all audio to that device. And it should have a built in audio mixer to control the different programs' volume levels separately.
Let me know what you think
Thanks.

As a bike commuter this feature would be great. I typically listen to streams and podcasts where fidelity is not priority one. I use a cheap pair of corded headphones where I chop one ear bud off so that I can keep my left ear, traffic side, open. It would be sweet to have the ability to make/take calls on my commute and listen to audio as well. I know that there are BT earpieces that are a2dp, but should I really have to drop another 40 clams to get one, hells no this is android we get what we want right? That said I would develop a prog to do this but it will take me 6 mos as I have no background. So, to kind devs, myself and several others that I have seen scouring for this sol'n would gladly help test and pay for this functionality.
I have been looking also. Have not found anything to even mention. I used to have it on my old MinMo phone, but that's the ONLY damn thing I miss about it. Anyone have a recomendation.
theres a bunch of cheap A2DP headsets at dealextreme.com just do a search for a2dp
But I do mean cheap dont expect miracles for sound quality or battery life . . . but did I mention cheap?
We're not trying to solve our problems by purchasing MORE hardware, we're trying to make do with what we have and find new uses for old stuff. We want to send ALL the audio from the device to a mono NON a2dp earpiece. It can't honestly be that hard, Please devs. And don't forget your donate buttons.

This is not working for me, and I have 3.0. Doubt that 4.0 is working on the G1.
Hello!
Sorry to up this "old" topic, but I'm a biker too and i have a scala rider Q2 bluetooth device. This device does not support the bluetooth A2AP x-(
The phone calls trough bluetooth is ok but no music or GPS....
I found a solution : Bluetooth Audio Widget (i could not post the link but you can find it on the android market)
This Widget/application route all the sounds from your device to the bluethoot headphones!

I have been using "Super BT Mono Pro" on my T-Mobile G2. It is working better than a few of the other apps that I have tried. It is also available on the Market.

How do you like that Q2? Does it work well on FM, or is its radio coverage spotty like the other units? I still think they have awesome audio when you are talking to someone. I gave up the Scala Rider FM for a Parrot SK4000.
I'm currently in the market for a bluetooth headset and I'm just looking for a polling of what headsets y'all are using, how well they play with WP7, and how happy you are with it. Thanks!
i use a blueant q2 headset. The call clarity is great, easy to use, and stylish. It has the ability to be paired to mutiple headsets also. It reads back text messages very well. Streams music too.
I am using the Motorola S9 and both calls and music sound fine...
I have the Sony Ericsson MW600. I really like it because you can still use any ear buds you already have. It can still take calls and has FM radio too.

I use the jaybird JF3
Unfortunately I cannot use it to do voice command
I use a E56 Mono wireless bluetooth headset, it's suitable for all bluetooth-enabled mobile phones and you can handle incoming and outgoing calls, listen to music and adjust the volume conveniently.
Jawbone Era... it's fantastic. What I like most is the tap to answer/hang up feature... shake to pair, etc. I also quite like how even when it's in my ear, I can hear everything around me - like I'm not wearing it, until I'm actually using it. Not everyone will like that, but when I'm driving I prefer to retain the use of my right ear. =)
Top 3 Headset I like
Jawbone Era
BlueAnt Q2
Sound ID 510
I used all 3 but, still looking for something with 8hrs of Talk Time
I've already posted mine here.
hi there, how about somethin like the wep870 or the hm3100? Original samsung.. will they fit a Samsung Omnia7 / Focus?
Please help me!
I had an EVO 4G an now an EVO 3D have had Plantronics 510 and 520 then went to a Jawbone Icon and washed it in my pocket. I switched to the lue Ant Q2 cause it spoke the number in your ear had an app that read back your text even though Vlingo does this Vlingo didn't work well with my 1st Evo and I loved being able to say Answer and Ignore my favorite part of the Q2. But when I hit the button and said phone command and wanted to choose Vlingo as my default and it says not supported and it doesn't work right where I can just push a button and say dial so and so so.
Anyway part of my Q2 broke but it still worked and now I lost it so I have ordered the Jawbone Era off Amazon and expect it the end of this week. I hope I like it. Tap sounds cool but I'm going to miss just saying answer and ignore by speaking but I used that alot if I was getting my nails done and got a call. LOL! What phone do you use your ERA with and you? You seem like you really like it and I read reviews before deciding whether to reorder a Q2 or get the Era.

I'm going from a Q2 to the Era this week. I have an EVO 3D what phone do you have? The Q2 didn't do totally handsfree with my phone and once I said Phone command and chose like Vlingo to use it would say this command is not supported by your phone or something like that. I lost it and am trying the ERA. Which one do you like better? I'm gonna miss speaking and saying pair me and answer and Ignore but the speaker is worse on the EVO 3D than the 4G and i heard listening to music on the Era is great and that sound is better cause of the bigger speaker it has over the jawbone Icon which I also had before.

Okay, I have a strange thing going on here.......
I bought my first bluetooth headset which is Jabra Storm (I ride a bike don't have a car) so it started gettting cracked when connected to my Xperia Z1 even my phone got unresponsive many times with that headset so I gifted that headset to my brother who has Motorola Droid Turbo, but before gifting him I checked that very headset with one of my friend's phone Xperia SP and one another phone it was still problematic, maybe it was a high copy of Jabra storm?? anyway then I bought LG-Tone Music HBS-730 which is also a high copy I'm sure but it works fine with my phone....... then out of curiosity I bought another Bluetooth headset "Motorola HK250" original, which is far better than the jabra storm co'z now it never got auto disconnect and connect at all but when on Bike if I turn my head right (and xperia z1 is in my left pocket ) the music sometimes break and sometimes it works fine. In a room it works fine... I also have a smartwatch 2 on my right hand but it's bluetooth is always off so I don't think this one is causing problem..
So what's up here?
The phone has faulty bluetooth? (I even installed Xperia Z1 bluetooth fixed from Market)
The Environment has interference with the device ? (I almost travel too much to check this)
Or
Bluetooth headsets aren't meant for Riding bikes ?
I'm confused , thanks for reply in advance.
