Search the Diamond forums. In most cases replacing the SIM card with a newer SIM card solved the problem. It worked for me.
I got the same problem when I got my diamond
may be you can try "clear memory"
I tried that and I can send messages
Do you mean SMS?
Is your SMS Service Center set correctly?
yes, sms. and also i did check the sms service center and it is correct. thanks for all your help guys.
I have been having this problem. In low signal areas when I have one, sometimes even two bars this will happen. I try to send a text message and it says message not sent and puts a link for me to try again. The thing is sometimes (perhaps every time, I'm not even sure) the message actually did send. I discovered this when someone told me I send them multiple messages sometimes. Do I have some kind of auto retry message program in addition to the regular retry prompt? Does anyone else have this problem?

Just don't send again,
I think if it hasn't asked you to place your message in the drafts folder than it will automatically send the message again.

Nope windows mobile never automatically sends again upon failures (the old Palm OS did... if you, say, sent an SMS message right before entering an elevator/lift, and you lost connectivity, it would AUTOMATICALLY resend the message once you exited the lift and got connectivity back).
I usually send it later. You have to do it manually though.
my viva hangs up when i send 3 to 4 messages and i have to restart the phone in order to keep sending messages. also i am unable to recieve or make calls during this prblm. other functons are fine, only sms and phone dont work. in comm manager if i try to put it in flight mode, the gsm connection is not terminated.please help. thanks in advance
it would be helpful if you can add which rom version you are using...
weired problem coz no one has faced problems like this in the rom release section.
neways...you could try a hard reset. but back your files in the phone memory first.
I can not send SMS message. I get an error "Your text message can not be sent. Be certain that your service center address is correct in Settings and then try sending the message again." How will I check and set my SMS message center number? Please help me...
I already had this problem once, but I fix it with one program, which cannot find now. Where can I get it?
Thanks!
