HTCdriver.com... help needed on mail-adresses, pls support!

oke people, i did it, registred www.htcdriver.com, tonight i will make a little site (to keep datatraffic low) and set up the site. I was thinking of making it very simple and only with FACTS and no flaming at all. it is just to get people knowing that there are issues and make it pop up fast on google.
Tonight i will start working on it, now it's forwarded to my other site in order to get rid of spam.
Any ideas here are welcome.
REMIND: I'm not going to post any illigal things on it, only facts!
cheers... René
Good work, fella.
Plenty of relevant links - to xda and to YouTube vids of the problem - would be a good idea.
HAHAHA, nice done bro.
Strange when i click the link I goto http://www.digitalpicture.nl/
btw, I'm an amateur photographer too .
Hi aksd,
You see digitalpicture.nl as it if being forwarded at the moment...

Aaah, missed that line I guess. Thanks mate.
Great idea. I was thinking about spamming forums aswell, but I doubt I'll make myself populair that way .
Hope it gets a lot of hits and rises to the top of google when people start looking for reviews and stuff before buying.
Just want to notice that you have to optimize web page for search engines to put it on top Domain name is only for people (when trying address directly or remembering it from last time).
So using keywords in HTML, linking between web pages and many other things can help.
But its good that someone at least start web pages about this problem!

off course i understand that, it will be hosted on the same domain as well. Now preparing all the text, metatags etc. etc. but the last message was that i cannot upload in the first 48 hours...
So, I'm going to put my other site offline and forward the htcdriver.com to my other site, until i have a good ftp on that one.
any other ideas of the metatags:
<meta name="description" content="problems with the videodriver on your HTC" />
<meta name="keywords" content="driver, htc, Qualcomm, TYTNII, tytn, s730, touch, cruise, mobile, ppc, ms7200, dual, video, camera, movies, playback, issues, qtv, qcamera, qdecoder" />
<meta name="robots" content="index, follow" />
<meta name="revisit-after" content="3 days" />
<title>htcdriver.com</title>
<!-- htc, video, issue --><cmt>
is the site down? I just got this:
This website is coming soon
If you are the owner of this web site you have not uploaded (or incorrectly uploaded) your web site. For information on uploading your web site using FTP client software or web design software, click here for FTP Upload Information.
Well seems we are going to do the same work twice as I also registered htcclassaction.org ...
Re
Lol, then we can link to each other
For me it's no problem, I'm just setting up a very very simple site, only stating the problems etc. etc. Just simple html, no php, only intend to inform people...
Are you planning making it more complicated?
Groeten René
Mwah, a bit. Not really complicated
Meta tags are not a big deal.
Just make sure you use proper html (h1, h2 h3, p ul etc) and simple plain English when explaining the problems with the drivers. This is more important then keywords.
May want to put Google Analytics on there also.
I'm a full time web developer so if you want any tips let me know.
Feel free to use any material that you find useful from:

Re
Site layout is done (visible on www.digitalpicture.nl), can someone check if it's ok? Don't bother the text on the different pages, I'm busy with that right now
Tnx for offering the use of the wiki, I'm sure gonna do that!
cheers
It looks OK in my Opera 9.24.
I only have one suggestion, maybe you can try edit logo to better describe problem and align it to the left. I think it could attract people more.
But content is more important than graphic design, so its also great this way!
Good luck with this, hopefully this will get them on the same page as us and release some drivers. This is pretty ridiculous in the first place we have to even do this.

Help with a Mediawiki

Well I'm trying to set this Mediawiki site up as a sort of android compliment to XDA-Devs (encouraging people to port android to different devices)
I haven't exactly started it as various family issues arose, I did, however provide a direct link in my signature as being a wiki, anyone could add to it. In theory, the website could take off without me (of course I don't plan on that)...
I came back just a few days later and BAM! Spam...
Multiple Ip's (in the process of blocking) and just random links to various sites which in all honesty are not the sort of things I expect spambots to link to...
Considering this is my first time really managing a website (Another XDA friend hosts it), then would anybody consider helping me out? Advising me of addons or other measures I can employ to stop things like this from happening again?
The link is in my signature www.androidevolution.com also points there.
Thanks in advance.

New website with a small giveaway. Updated. 2nd giveaway.

I know the giveaway isn't much but I hope over time it will grow. I am currently contacting manufactures to see if I can get any love.
I just started a new website called androidusers.info. I am hoping to have it have stuff that users want to see. Check it out and leave comments on what you would like there. Also I am having a giveaway for a superuser sticker. I know it's not much but for now everything is coming out of pocket. If you would like to help out let me know. I am looking for app developers who wouldnt mind giving away something. Also a tweet about it would be nice. As for the donation link well it says it all there. Not looking for huge donations just maybe a couple cents which over time and people will add up to some nice stuff to give away.
Mods feel free to remove if this isn't up to site code.
2 things i notices - 1 its slow to load (may just be my internet connection) and 2 it would be better if most of the post was viewable from the mainpage (like engadget)
Thank you for the comments. I am still working out the kinks and looking at other themes for it.
also the fonts , esp the titles are huuuuuuuge
Thanks. Will work on that.
Decided to give something else away now. Go check it out.

I left a comment Sick Android figure, I would love that haha But yeah it definitely does load on the slower side
you webpage loading time is too long. and you are missing "Meta Description". Try to summaries the posts on the homepage and make the visitors to click "Read More" to view the full post.

[App]-Random Nation

First post on XDA so tell me if I did something wrong.
Just getting into developing Apps for the first time and I just published the first of hope fully many to come. Its a randomizer: creates random numbers, pick text based Items you put in, and can randomly sort a list you give it. Useful little utility I think but I love feedback.
Well apparently I cant post a link just yet but look for it in the market place and tell me what you think called random nation.
Already posted an update thanks to feedback fixing the quick number method. Apparently if you selected more then one number but didn't give a high low it only gave out one number. Thanks again to whoever submitted the bug. Keep them coming

Email attachments-SOLVED

When trying to send an attachment whether it's a document or photo or anything I get the message of "can not send.... Program has been moved or deleted.... Or something to that effect. I'm sure I deleted something which I thought was bloat or didn't think I'd ever need and well, guess what, I need to have it of course. Anybody have any idea what I am missing and if so, where I could get it??? . Cricket 510 Nonsense v1.04.
Edit: OK, seems to be just files or documents I am not able to attach, if that helps anybody to help me. . Thanks in advance guys.
FUNNY, I have noticed in this Q & A Forum that most/many of the subjects have had tons and tons of "views" but pretty much no responses of help. Seems odd that except for a select few (you know who you are) nobody seems to know what they are doing or can provide any assistance for any of the issues listed. Ill assume that the majority of the users of this "cheap" device are new and/or new to Android.
Sorry, I guess I am just used to what goes on and whats happening over in the Samsung Forums.
BTW.....................Thanks anyways, I figured it out myself. Yeah baby!!!
