currently i only have two NICE working games on my phone:
1. Teeter
2. SPB brain evolution
3. Solitaire
Would like to see other games that would look and play great on the touch pro. specially something that uses the g-sensor OR the keyboard. i'd like to see if anyone managed to get emulators working for the TP as well.
What games do YOU have??
I have Call Of Duty 2 and Touchdown (helicopter flying game) on top of the few you have listed.
I have Resco Bubbles on there... It's like teeter sort of. Works great.
I have demo'd the following:
Marble Worlds.. Not bad, but not great.
Snow Rally Canada.. Not so good. Difficult to control
Mini-Dogfight... Not bad. Controls are easier than the snow rally game.
Not very fun though. I played one game and I'll probably never play it again.
Air Hockey Challenge: Doesn't work so great with gyrator enabled... (But I've found most games don't). Not bad... More of a novelty than an actually playable game. I don't plan to buy it.
I'd have to say that overall the games suck. There's nothing close to what I've seen on the iphone commercials. Pretty much everything is graphically worse than what I had on my Atari Lynx (back in the f*in 80's). And as far
as them being fun??? Not at all.
Maybe Call of Duty is good. I'm gonna go look for a demo. I am sadly disappointed so far though.
Warfare Incorporated is awesome - especially if you have other PPC nerds to play against over wifi. It ruined trips to the pub.

Do any of the old DOS games like Doom, etc. play on this resolution screen? I tried doom last night and it worked, but it was the size of a postage stamp on the screen. Basically useless. I do miss some of those I used to play on the old Treo Palm OS.

I have a couple spb games but I'm very bored with them. Does anyone know of any really fun and/or addictive games for the Tilt/Kaiser? I have a good amount of downtime at work and I'm always on my phone. I NEED some new games. Any recommendations? What's your favorites?
New Games
Don't know if this helps, but I really like Resco Defender. It's a really addicting tower defence game. Download the trial first and see if you like it, because some people think it's boring while others really enjoy it. http://www.resco.net/pocketpc/defender/default.asp Hope that helps,

Duke Nukem 3D!!! I loved it on PC and someone ported it to PPC. It's exactly the same thing, even with the Atomic Edition add-on! Try looking for "Duke Nukem on my Kaiser" on youtube and you'll find all the instructions on how to get it. Runs best with the 3D htc classaction drivers. Come get some!

Yeap, i was wondering that if its possible to play old / Simple PC-games on PPC?
Tryied to find awnser by google but it didnt give any awnsers...
There are ports of Duke Nukem 3D, Quake, Warcraft 2 and such old games. They had to be rewritten for CE architecture, so the choice is fairly limited due to the time that requires...
http://pocketdosbox.sourceforge.net/ maybe
You can play Ultima 7 through Exult..
Try ScummVM!
Runs all of the old lucasarts adventures and more!
See http://www.scummvm.org/compatibility.php for a list of compatible games.

Ok, thanks for the awnsers... seems kinda weard to me, that that there aint any emulators or anything to play old / light windows games... (example GTA 1 etc etc) tho, maybe some day...

Oh, but GTA IS available with the Morphgear emulator.
There is also ICBM, Space Invaders, Pac-Man, DigDug, Mappy, Ms Pac-Man, etc etc. I have all these games on my device and they are awesome!!! Not freeware though. You can also find Doom, Quake I & II, Wolfenstein 3D, Warcraft II, Stygian Abyss (Yes, I have it and it's identical to the pc version), Descent, Age of Empires and various others. Just do a google search.
Fun Games
I enjoy the simple java based games that you can find most anywhere online for free. This includes such fun titles as:
Space invaders
Tetris
Pub Pool
breakout
and many more

Thanks man Getted the Morphgear and had some NES games working. Tho, i didnt find how to get wc2 or gta on phone... But, i managed to find game called "girders" (Bridgebuilder clone) and dude, i love it ! too shame that the demo only has like 4 levels, and the authoriser's web-pages aint working anymore...
So, if someone can help me whit two things, idiot-proof guide to getting wc2 / GTA, or any info were i could get the full version of girders (or another bridgebuilder clone) i would be the happiest guy in the world... ( the office is killing me...)
I'm sorry! I had to reply...
I'm a great fan of oldies... and recently... i found a pearl... one of the best adaptations from DOS.. pure DOS 320x200x8bits...
Its called Lemmings...
To make me cry some more... the default setup is for a full keyboard... all keys from A to L (middle row) ar shortcuts... the dpad is perfect and responsive, the touchscreen is precise... alas.... one of the 7 wonders of old_dos2ppc conversions.
The game os freely available on the net... IIRC... all that you need... is 1 file from the original lemmings for dos. So no warez here...

The only game so far that I've tried that had a little trouble was Killer Instinct. I was suprised it ran at all but it didn't run well at all. So far though Link to the past, super mario cart, and a few others ran great.
One thing I have noticed is the key bindings don't stay and I have to reset them everytime I play. There was an update for it recently and haven't played it since then. Anyone else get this?

If you are a gamer, there are hundreds of worthy games that play great on Snesoid, so worrying about $3 in relation to this seems superfluous. I have tested over 150 roms and this emu plays 95% very well- and I am a picky SOB.
Cannon Fodder
Sensible Soccer
all FIFA's
NBA Live
Mario Allstars
Metroid
Contra 3
Space Megaforce
Tetris 1,2, Flash etc (and all are way better than the market Tetris)
NBA Jam
Mortal Kombat 3
Raiden (Not as good as Sega or Turbgrafx version, but plays great on Snesoid)
Rock N Roll Racing
Kirby's Avalanche
Every baseball game I tried (about 12)
Supernova
Gradius 3
Parodius
Side Pocket
Mr. Do
Etc, etc
This emu is amazing and well worth $3.
hey nice signature picture maxdamage2122, mind if i use it? Ill totally give u full credit lol

Uno for sure, spend a lot of time with a game from the same company called pocket pazaak and also a bit of time with the Kevtris program, wish GNUboy worked better on the Raph, doesnt work that well on mine with the WinMo6.5 Rom I have

Resco Bubbles is a nice one, however it looks like HTC it's Teeter. Resco Snake also is a nice one. Both run with accelero meter. They just look nice and can compare to a iPhone game that is why i like them.

Hello All,
I was hoping if anyone can post their experiences using thier emulator apps.
Been using 'Gameboid' for a few days now. Im pretty impressed it runs the games it does. Sound syncing is not 100 percent but doable or you can even turn off your sound. I can confirm Advance Wars works VERY well and is a must have if you use the program. I am overall satisfied with it and hopefully will continue to see more compatibility with more updates.
**PLEASE DO NOT POST ANY GAME DOWNLOAD SITES AS THIS THREAD MAY BE SUBJECT TO CLOSE IF YOU DO SO... Thank you.
I use Snesoid religiously. Love it.
i use gameboid and snes emulator regulary buyed.
snes go well, you can play but without sound because it eat more resources.
gameboid go, but it's a little bit slow, and it's a problem when you play games like micro machines, mario etc because you have to take an immediately responce, and you don't have it
i use a dream with cyanogen mod 4.2.5

nes, genesis, snes, and gameboid emulators all work great, i've played quite a few games on all of them. scummvm is another great emulator (of sorts) and i've been playing return to zork, discworld series, 7th guest and beneath a steel sky with them.
still excited about gaming on this platform and it will only become better in the future.
If you like point & click games and missed out on many oldschool classic (or, wth, even want to play them again) i would recomend scumm. It works great on android device, especially if you have a trackball (kinda slugish it is, but for precise aming - priceless)
I've read about Android Arcade Emulator (capcom, neo-geo arcade games) but I'm not using it (those games where made for playing with mates - kinda hard on small device ), apparently it runs the more famous games without lag.
I also use gameboid. works great.

It depends on which game it is, its not 100 percent compatible yet. Also make sure the bios file is not compressed by any programs (ex. winrar, winzip and or power archiver)
Ive downloaded some games that force closes it as well. What I did was simply delete the game and threw another one into the SD card.
Report back and let me know your results and we can both figure out another solution if you cant play another game..
The best emulator out right now is ggNES. It runs NES games at full speed with sound on. No slow down, no errors, just perfect.
I like the xxxoid emulators, but the app author isn't making them run more efficiently, he's adding other stuff. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad he's even updating, but full speed emulation can be done, and ggNES had a free version to boot.
ggNES is a definite download and is running great on my G1.

Issue is, While RPGs and Tactic based games. (Yes I love advance wars) Are great on the emulators. Games like Star Sigma etc are harder.. even mario is hard. Seems action games are just harder to manage that fast paced stuff on the emulators. Anyone else notice that?
Or have they got better? Curious about the snes one tho if that runs smooth.
Edit: Just read others.. I agree I use gbaroid and nesroid and while the dev makes updates.. the speed seems to be the complaint.. but I really dont wanna buy ggnes just for speed after I paid for one.. heh..

ggNES is currently the best at playing Nes roms. Try the ggNES lite and see how it works out for you, if you like it why not buy it?
Snesoid runs good at least on my phone. Its also dependent on how many apps are using up your memory. Get Advanced Task Manager to fix that problem prior to using any emulator.
Ok Ill give it a shot. I use Taskiller pro personally. Works well I think. Unless you know something works better? Advanced Task Manager I have as well.
Maybe its decent enough to play River City Ransom. =)

There are alot of programs similar to Advanced Task Manager, yours is one of them. As long as they close unused programs it should be fine.
