Noob - Upgrading ROM

Just ordered O2 XDA IIs.
Can someone tell me which ROM version is latest and where to get updates?

ROM Upgrade for Xda IIs

Can anyone help me give a link from where i can download the Rom Upgrade 1.4 or latest for my old Xda IIs.

There is an official ROM update on the O2's Website. You can download it from there. But if you need brand new OS, you need to download WM5/WM6. Find the information needed in Wiki's page.

O2 Xda ii - Radio upgrade help please

I'm new on the forum and have spent a while searching through the archive looking for details on how to update/upgrade the radio on my O2 Xda ii
The phone has been unlocked by someone (before me) and now in the system information the radio field is blank.
Is there an easy way to update my xda ii with out having to do a full rom flash?
(As doing as full rom upgrade seams very complex)
Any help would be great, thanks in advance.

Source for O2 UK 1.40 ROMs for XDA IIs?

I had a look at http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=BA_Upgrades but the ftp download locations do not appear to contain the O2 UK 1.40 ROMS for the XDA IIs. Also www.my-xda.com doesn't seem to have any ROMs for the XDA IIs on it.
Does anyone know where to get the O2 UK 1.40 ROMs for the XDA IIs from?
I'd like to try upgrading to WM6 but before I try that I'd like to make sure I've got the original ROMs to return to.

The download links on that page aren't working for me at the moment but hopefully that's a temporary thing. Will give it another go later.

Please excuse any 'noob-iness' in my request.
Been searching (google, xda wiki, xda ftp, xda ROM repository). Can't seem to find the official T-Mobile UK Vario III ROM. Does anyone actually have it?
