audio over bluetooth via jawbone - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III General

Trying to listen to an audio book over bluetooth with my Jawbone. Is it possible? Using media player. I did a search but couldn't find anything.
Thanks
Elliot

google maxmobilesoft btmusic

Or search for BTAudioToggle

BTAudioToggle
I have tried searching for BTAudioToggle and keep coming up with dead links from Beyondthetech. Does anybody have a working link to get the file?
Thanks
Elliot

I meant within the forum. Also if you'd have done a search of your Title, it would have popped up several times...

BTaudio
Got it to work. Thank you very much for your help.

Stream from online radio

Hi all,
Am tearing my hair out trying to figure this one out! I've got:
Windows Media
Coreplayer
GSPlayer
(Flash, not sure if this is needed)
All installed, as I'd like to listen to a radio station stream that I work on/manage the internet stream/technical setup for.
However it just won't connect at all! I have managed to play another shoutcast stream, but still never managed to get this one working.
Can anyone advise on why this could be? The stream in question is:
http://mobile:[email protected]:8000/hartlepool-mp3
Which works fine on all other players on the PC, etc, but cannot seem to figure why its not working on my Kaiser.
Thoughts/things to try, etc please!!
Can't see the link in full to analyse, or click it to open it.
Please repost it, perhaps not as a link but just as text and I'll take a look in the morning.
Cheers,
Joe
Oh strange when I pasted the link it was just a link, must have been the forum software that auto-linked it. Here it is, just cut the spaces out
http :// mobile:user @ arctic.thebmwz3.co.uk:8000/hartlepool-mp3
I've been trying a few other things here, and still cannot seem to figure out what is wrong with the stream/player on my Kaiser.
I've tried changing the stream from mp3 to ogg, same problem, have also set it not to require the username/password authentication, same problem.
Not sure what to try, anyone??
I stream a few stations, here's what I did;
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=350675
Good Luck.
Thanks for the tips, unfortunately since this is a small UK regional/community station that I operate, it isn't in any public listings, so cannot stream via pages or other links.
The bit i'm struggling with is why the kaiser won't stream the link, as its a fairly standard CBR mp3 streamed from icecast2 at 64kbps/22kHz and I cannot stream either over 3G or wlan when I'm at home, so that negates and proxy or anything like that with my cell provider, so it looks like I'm struggling with some form of incompatibility with my audio applications and the stream that I'm running.
Help! Don't suppose any kind souls out there can try my stream I posted and see if they can play it on their kaiser?
Thanks everyone for your input, its been driving me mad this!!

I tried the stream as posted, with .mp3 rather than -mp3, and without the mobile:[email protected] both as . and -
It couldn't even find the stream! Kept saying the file (etc, not typing the whole message) could not be found. Tried it on a couple of other streams for local radio I know of in South Wales, and it was fine. Couldn't seem to handle Radio 1 tho, but no loss there...
I have no clue about streams, so can't help with what might be wrong, but least this confirms that a Kaiser and WMP will run streaming internet radio. Maybe there is something on the config that a PPC couldn't handle? Does this stream work for you:
http://gmga.planetwideradio.com/RealWales
Thanks Steve, thats what I was wondering. Yes your link works fine which confirms that the streaming to my WM kaiser is fine, its obviously how I'm handling my own stream.
Interesting that you've tried all the combinations that I did, and with no luck, and yes very strange it doesn't find the feed at all and errors with unknown url, etc, I'm wondering if its somehow because the stream runs on port 8000 instead of 80?
However, in pocket IE, you can get to http://arctic.thebmwz3.co.uk:8000/ which is the admin for my icecast2 server, so PIE does seem to accept the alternative port too.
I'm very confused! I'm going to post to the icecast2 forum to see if there are any answers, but anyone else can give me any pointers too??
Cheers!
Right,
Chatting to the Icecast streaming developers, they suspected the authentication being the problem.
So I disabled authentication and sure enough the stream connected immediately, so I suspect there is a bug in the internet/backend on the WM that doesn't interpret multiple colons correctly, as obviously I had two in the URL, one for the TCP port number to use, and one to separate the username/password.
So think thats the problem.

Myspace Music To Play On TILT/8925

Now I'm pretty good at figuring things out and using google.com but after extensive searching I couldn't find anything. Maybe I didn't dumb down the search. I was wondering if there was a way you could hear the songs on someones profile. When I had my HP Ipaq rx3115 pda the songs on peoples myspace would play and it was off the regular internet explorer browser. When I go to the page, lets say my own myspace page, It says javascript is turned off or you do not have flash player installed. I have flash player 7 installed. I remember reading through these forums and someone had mentioned that there was a registry tweak that would trick websites into thinking you are using a particular version of IE. I don't remember where I saw it but any help would be appreciated. I know there is a way.
.Btw. I'm not addicted to myspace its just that I usually upload my boys music onto his music page and you never know when you are going to need a sample.

AVRCP not working in PocketMusic and PocketPlayer !

Hi,
Have anyone noticed AVRCP buttons ( next/previous and play pause buttons) not working in Pocketmusic and PocketPlayer. But they are working perfectly in TouchFlo3d music player and also Windows Media player.
Any fix?
I found this problem too as I always played pocketmusic; now I play my mp3s thru audio manager cause I don't know how to fix it, sorry.
that's weird, hope somebody could throw some light over this issue
no fixes yet? nobody got a clue?
is there button mapping options in Pocket Music player?
Would be great if this could be fixed
i am trying to link different applications with AVRCP / A2DP though without luck...
it did worked on Tytn II , though the Diamond seems not to offer the possibility to control 3rd party Multimedi applic's
Coreplayer 1.25 ; no AVRCP - only volume control
Pocket player 3.6 : same as above.
WMP -on board : all works, but the sound output is less than the above
I will try to associate file extensions with other programs and report back if this would solv.
i guess only disabeling Touchflo might solve this temporarely as a work around.
I have same troubles with CorePlayer too
When I connect my DS-970, its controls TF3D player tab
I try to disable this tab - CorePlayer didn't work correctly too
but WMP did! (
Reg tak request
I posted left and right requests to tweakers to have a look into this but without luck yet.
Advanced Config (or boinger66 add-ons for Advance Config 2.1) should be the most suitable solution though.
If you guys would liek to post a few other direct requests (no new thread yet) someone with the required knowledge might come up with something ..
DS980 VS HTC Daimond + Pocket music
I have got the same problem. Now, I post my problem to Pocketmind support team already. They said, they will get back to me. Actually, I am not advance user and this problem should be a known problem, unfortunately, I tried to search on many web by using google, hopeless!!
If I got any feedback from the support team, will share

There is option on the button mapping but it did not work with AVCRP bluetooth. It works on the handheld itself
Having same problem too.. have installed the WMP plug-in for Pocket player and enabled the workaround relating to play/pause for WMP A2DP in the config screen. However, still cannot use AVRCP to control Pocket Player from my Bluetooth car stereo.
Not a major issue, but it would be nice to get working as I've been impressed with PP so far and so will probably end up buying it.
Thx
M.

I'm following this thread because I plan to buy a Touch Pro when it comes out in my area and I want PocketPlayer to work with the AVRCP on my new car stereo.
I saw from your post about Advance Config and I was curious if anybody tried setting the Default Music Player for the HTC Music Plugin setting? Does that help?
Advance Config can be downloaded here: http://www.touchxperience.com/
As I do not have a Touch Pro yet, I cannot test this, but I am curious about other's experiences solving this issue.
Until today, Pocketmind has not reply my question yet. May be, they could not figure out too. I posted my the same question in some other forum. One of the reply stated that I should find the plugin AVRCP for pocketMusic. Again, Until today, I tried to search in the google, I still could not find plugin AVRCP for pocket music. If anyone of you have a luck on this, please

After I launch your above web, then, I link to
http://www.touchxperience.com/
I saw the "HTC Music Manager" function in the description that allow you to choose default music player in the link but when install, NO "HTC MUSIC Manager". So ridiculous
My old Touch was able to map the Hardwarebutton BT to Start/Stop, so i could pause/Play by pressing BT Sidebutton.
On the Diamond and on the old Touch this is implemented in 1-3 DLLs. As it is hardcoded in these DLLs - it is definitly not possible to "remap" these buttons :-(
I asked in the forum if it is possible to use the DLLs from the "old" Touch. ... No interesting feedback by now...

Thanks for your info. Until today, nobody could solve this problem!!. I left this issue to Pocketmind and they said they would come back in 3 days. Now 10 days already. May be, they are also incapable to solve it : (
Same problem here with Mort Player on HTC Touch Pro (Raphael).
It seems, they changed the way BT stack interprets AVRCP commands, or hardcoded sending these commands directly to WMplayer, cause it is only think that works with AVRCP.
I hope this will be soon solved in some cooked ROMs.

If you hear about a cooked ROM that fixes this, please post it here!
I don't usually have time to comb through all the awesome stuff going on at XDA and would very much appreciate it!
Hi, is there a music player that can be controlled (next, previos, volume, play/pause) with the buttons on the stock wired headset? I can't use them in WMP and is very frustrating.
BT function for Pocket Music
Still no response from Pocketmind. Also, tried to search, hopeless.

Something to play feeds from RadioReference?

Hey guys, just a quick question, does anyone know of any android apps that are able to play feeds from ScanAmerica?
Ive been searching everywhere to no avail. Ive tried going on the mobile website for ScanAmerica, but when i get to the point where its loading the feed, it opens the video player and says the format isnt supported.
I checked the url and it links to a .mp3 file, so i dont understand why it wouldnt play.
thanks in advance.
no one knows of any app that can do that? or any alternative way to listen to radioreference feeds on my phone?
Hey buddy, thanks for pointing this site out. I've always been in to scanners but never thought to check the web for such a thing!
But, to answer your original Q, I am able to stream Ottawa Fire from the site by selecting Winamp from the list, and it opens in Droid Live Lite. Hope this helps ya!
bro your a life saver, i installed droidlive and it was able to open and play the feed.
thanks a lot!

SRS Wow HD Issues

Hi,
When im trying to listen songs on my bluetooth car stereo, I am unable to on Audio Booster ... It gives me a message that I can only on when connected to Headset. Is there a way to on it and make it work? Please help
Thank you.
use usb headset
Hi again NewYorkMafia! I think the key clue was in the original post - using Bluetooth in his car, so USB headset isn't really an option.
I don't know if other people have managed to tweak the Audio Booster program/reg settings to allow use in any environment, but have you tried using an alternative program instead? Something like SRS Wow HD. Not sure if this download is more recent or not. (Taken from here). It claims May 30 2010, so may be newer than the first link.
Does anyone know of other 3rd party apps/utils for tweaking all audio, no matter the transport method?
Thanks for SRS WOW HD. I will try and let you know. But its kind of suprising why it only works with Headset on
When i installed SRS WOW HD it gives me an error "There is no WOW HD driver loaded. The control Panel will now exit" any help ?
Did you try both versions of the download linked above?
I've not installed it on mine, so no help there, sorry.
I take it you've run a search for SRS in the forums here? There may well be a step by step guide, or at least someone who has fixed that error and posted about it.
Sorry not much use to you.
Yeah i tried both versions. everyone says the fix is to "Soft Reset" the phone... I Did this ... But not working
As the original poster for this thread, are you able edit the title? If so, I'd recommend changing it to SRS Wow HD problems or something similar, you might get more drive by traffic, and hopefully a solution, that way.
Thanks ..Changed it
