how to use animated bootscreen

how can i do this ?

there are programs you can buy which let you use animated today screens
but not from gifs even pc windows don't support animated gifs as wallpaper
do a google for animated pocketpc theme to find it

[HTC Sense] Animated Wallpaper on Today Screen for Manila Home screen...

Hi all ,
[Sorry for my bad english, I'm french]
I would like to have an animated wallpaper on the first page of HTC Sense home plugin, wich is on WM6.5 HTC roms.
Animated GIF don't match and become not animated as wallpapers.
So I wonder if someone knows how to put an animated gif as wallpaper, or a short video, juste like Dreamscene for Windows Vista, but on our WM6.5 devices !

Help creating an animated (PNG) boot screen for the Hero?

Does anyone know of a guide for how to save files (from Photoshop) into the fight PNG format to create an animated Hero splash screen? I have the animation created but can't seem to get the phone to run it.
Any help would be appreciated!

I'm not sure you can use an animated PNG (MNG, APNG?) as a boot animation - try creating an animated .gif instead.

it's either animated gif or series of png. just look at existing bootscreens.

I have looked at other bootscreens, and I have created the series of PNG files, as far as I can tell they are formatted in exactly the same way, they just won't run.
