I just checked the WIKI and the only one original shipped GERMAN ROM I could find is WM6.1. Isn't there any original WM6.0 ROM? I wouldn't mind if it would be a O2 or T-Mobile branded one - just need the 6.0 rather than the 6.1.

He/she asked for an original o2 rom ,so why ask for wm6 or cooked roms, why not try searching? Then you will find out that NOBODY has released a wm6 rom for the Alpine

Correct, there is no newer version, only cooked versions of WM2003.

The qtek2020 is a Himalaya NOT an Alpine, your ROM will either not install or will brick the device.

Hi, I have a HTC Kaiser from a service provider called O2. I live in England and find that my Kaiser with O2 Custom Firmware and WM6.1 runs very slow compare to my brothers who has a T-Mobile WM6 Kaiser. Im including as much details as possible about my Kaiser:
WM 6.1 Pro
MSM 7200 400MHz
ROM Version: 3.29.206.0 WWE
Hoping if sumone cud direct me in right path to find the original HTC Firmware for the Kaiser

Can someone please tell me where I can find the official HTC 6.1 rom? I can't find it on HTC's website, and here I find several links to Official WWE 6.1 rom, or updated Official HTC 6.1 rom, but for the life of me I can't figure out which link is to the officially released from HTC WM 6.1 rom. Thanks for the lying accusation, that section is the exact section that is confusing me. How am I supposed to know which one of these is the original from HTC English 6.1 ROM?

They are all official. Anyone who reads the available information will know that 1.xx.xxx.xx ROMs are WM6, and 3.xx.xxx.xx are WM6.1.

Yes. All of the ROMs found under that section are official from HTC. However, if you are simply looking for the newest official ROM, the are numbered ascending as new versions are released (i.e 3.28.xxx.xx is older than 3.55.xxx.xx).

ROM version related to GPS issues?
As an effing noob here... I'm trying to track down why I cant use the aGPS built into my Touch HD... Google Maps and Windows Live Mobile both cannot use the internal GPS, even after hard-setting to COM4, 4800 baud, etc.
My ROM is 1.14.405.3 (22273) WWE... does this matter or would the Radio version be needed?
Just trying to track down why I cant use the GPS... and cant seem to find any advice anywhere. I'm using this phone in the US, bought from the UK unlocked...

Erm I flashed Laurentius26's fantastic V2 ROM then thought oops - supposing I need to return the phone I may have to have the original ROM in it

I'm thinking of buying a HTC Touch 3G Jade from ebay. The thing is that it's locked to the spanish vodafone. I also have a vodafone sim but I live in Portugal. Can anyone tell me if the spanish HTC Touch 3G will work on portugal with my portuguese vodafone sim if I unlock the mobile?
One more thing, do you know if there is any official portuguese rom for this phone, And if there is, can you tell me where to find it?

If your phone has a Sim Lock then you might need to get it unlocked, there are no tools on xda to do this. However there are plenty of code sites out there.

This is 100% stock original ROM.
I just dumped it from my own Jade with all original ROM.

If you could help me by telling me how to install it it would be great... I don't understand much of this. It it was a simple rom I would know how to do it but with this two files I don't know how to install. I have to dump the previous spanish rom isn' that so?
I'm not really sure since I haven't done it so far, but I'm guessing you can do it using the "itsutilsbin" tools (more specifically "pdocwrite.exe") found on this post:
