Hi all, i have a new touch pro/raphael.
I would like to know your advice on which applications a kind of "must have" on this device.
Especially, I need
- the best GPS navigation sw (for Italy)
- something to reject calls from certain numbers
- all the system tricks/applications that are, in your opinion, indispensable
- some software advices from you
Thanks a lot!!

SelMUI made by cfcompany.co.jp has done me a great service.... for those gaijins that need english on these phones this product works...! No lie it's awsome...! It truly works and i was the guiena! Highly suggest if you want these phones in english without Flashing your phone this is your best bet!
I brought this and installed it on my x05HT and works great as you say, however there are a few limitations;
- The softbank mail app remains in Japanese
- Some japanese specific applications like Navitime, English<->Japanese dictionary are only Japanese.
- Some random kanji still show, like the days of the week in the calander.
The above is to be expected somewhat since these are standalone applications and not part of Windows Mobile.
SelMUI also converts the Touch Flow 3D interface to english.
Touchflo 3D
You can switch the language of the interface just by modifying a registry key and soft reset your device
I'd like to try it for my HT01A, where did you guys buy it?
Hello all. I don't see a forum for the newly announced Touch Diamond 2 yet, so I'll ask my question in here!
Does anyone know what the enhancements to the Touchflo3D interface will be (if any)? I don't bother with it on my Diamond, as the Calendar is virtually useless and there's no tasks at all. If these are being addressed then I might be convinced to upgrade (although I'm not sure about removing the wheel interface either).
Does anyone have any info on this?

Hey there,
Does anyone also own a Freedom Pro Keyboard ? It works to install the ****ty Firmware but i cannot connect the Keyboard with, so that the User defined Shortcuts are unable to manage .
They (according to their FAQ) know the Problem, but their solve doesnt
work.
So my question to you guys is if you solved this problem.
thx a lot for any helpful answers
I have had nothing but trouble with Freedom keyboards - I tried the Freedom Pro, but I could only get it to do the basic keyboard functions with my HD2, no special buttons or characters. I sold it to my wife who uses it with her Blackberry without any problems at all - possibly this is an issue with WM becoming defunct, developers can't be bothered to produce proper software for the platform any longer.
I remember I had issues with the Universal 2 before that - again, it works ok as a basic keyboard with the HD2, but both keyboards actually stopped working if I loaded the proper drivers!!
Unfortunately, with the departure of Stowaway/iGo, Freedom are in a monopoly position in this market.
Bottom line - if you want a basic keyboard of a good size and ease of use, it's ok, but don't imagine you are going to get fancy features based on my experience.

Ok, thx anyway for information ..
i bought it because of the ability to define Shortcuts
i think i sell it on ricardo / Ebay ..
but i've seen some other Keyboards somewhere in a I-net-Shop.
so hopefully i will find some handy Gear

is it possible to inactivate the WM HID Software ?
maybe this would help .. or try another Bluetooth Stack ?
ok again update:
maybe they fixed something, but i downloaded a few minutes ago
the Firmware (its the File for Broadcomm BT Stack, message to all noobs like i am
installed it again and , hey , it works !!
thx because i was going to be angry ....!!
Im updating my Touch Diamond 1 to a Touch Diamond 2 (only because the screen is so badly scratched on the TD1 I cant read it in daylight). The new phone is unbranded and Im wondering , other than manual input, how I migrate all of my Orange Network settings to my new phone. I have used PIM backup to collect all of my data but is there something I can use which will backup my settings ?
Althoughy I've been hanging around on here for years, I realise this is a bit of a noob question ... so apologies ... I have actually done some searching but found nothing
Also is there a CAB file around which will give me access to WM6.5 tweaks, like the Advanced Config tool that Schapps developed for the Touch Diamond 1
Thanks in advance
I Kind of answered part of the question with regard to backups. Unless anyone else has other suggestions I will track down one of these utilities.
Sashimi or UC (User Customization)
Im assuming that Sashimi will enable me to backup my TD1 and update the TD2 ?
