Known bugs for 1.1:
Google maps is excluded in version 1.1 forgot to remove the icon. so the google maps icon wont lead to somewhere..
Known bugs for 1.0:
- Full screen is not working properly (fix: uncheck transparant background.)
- yes/no/cancel buttons invisible (temporay fix: load another theme, then load pure black 2 them again.)

Did you rewrite it with my advices or just replaced some bmps and texts?
Shiip. It is difficult to get into himalaya with raw COM connection, also my VC# doesn't support so I write it in delphi...

Yeah. Just edited some bmps and text. Nice change though!

UPDATE: Found some errors:
Picture is too big when the himalaya is upgrading.
The screen before that says PocketPC in stead of Himalaya.
Background of picture is not the same as program.
I WILL FIX THESE SOON.

YAHAHANUVOELEGANLC if you downloaded the first link on my skydrive most of the text has been customised to the himalaya, but the second download link the picture while upgrading has changed but the text is same as normal for some reason.

Please note that this is just the first try and that the animations are very big ( WVGA ~1,9mb).
But they should play normally.
Downloads:
This are full packages including the Animated.gif and the Welcomehead!
I'm going to update them, they are not avaible at the moment
Installation:
Just place the animated.gif in the /windows folder on your phone with a file explorer like "RescoExplorer" or "Total Commander".
Please note that the Windows Explorer doesn't work!
Copy file -> to your Phone -> in the Windows folder -> the Reboot

put it on the rood of your sd card then use "total commander" and move it to the windows folder on your phone. (don't use file explorer )
copy file > mobile device > windows folder > reboot.

I got a himalaya so a static welcomehead.PNG would be good as the himalaya cannot run a moving .gif at bootup.
it cannot run a sound file either.

You know what would be nice, a light version, with maybe a few different colours. For example, white background with the 'HTC green' colour would be nice for me

My stock ROM doesn't have an animated startup currently so does anyone know how to get this working as putting it in the Windows folder doesn't do anything I just get the O2 first screen then the welcomehead?
I'm on the O2 stock ROM 1.72.

* The folder named “IFOLDERS” located in the zip file below
If you use TodayXLive (instal on device memory) the only thing you need is to unzip the file below and copy the folder “TodayXLive” to Program files on your device. Then copy the folder "IFolders" to the Program Files in the device memory.
If you use any of the other applications (IPhone Today, Metro Home or Host), you should create links to the exe in the respective folders in “IFolders” (see picture 1)
