Up for sale is a gently used AT&T Tilt. I've owned it for around 6 months now and have loved every minute of it...selling because there are many options I still don't use so I am downgrading a little.
Slider is still strong as ever, only a couple of minor blemishes as seen in the pics. (scratch on bottom left of battery cover & silver over camera area worn off a little)
INCLUDES: AT&T Tilt phone, USB Cord, Wall Charger and I am throwing in a fresh 4gb MicroSDHC card...plenty of space for adding songs!
This phone has been security unlocked (Spl 3.56) and the ROM can be set to whatever you choose without issue. Current ROM (PDACornerUltimate v11) includes Manilla2d which is a great, finger-friendly menu slider...also utilizing WM6.1.
Asking $300
Let me know if you have any questions.

First and only bump...if no takers/offers then it is going on eBay.
To be honest, I dont think you are going to get many hits with a price point of $300. You can get a refurb from ATT ( literally like new ) for $99.
Goodluck selling it though
You're right...$99 with a 2yr contract on AT&T's network.
Thank you for the luck.

Are you interested in buying it ? if not what does it matter what he sells it for or wants for it ? I have seen many of these threads , and the OP generally gets what he wants for it, me I prefer that the value stay up on the Tilts..
$300 is not unreasonable

I have a brand-new in box AT&T 8525 (HTC Hermes). I got it yesterday when my original Cingular 8525 stylus silo would no longer hold the stylus properly. AT&T sent me a crappy refurb (obvious cosmetic flaws) so I complained nicely and got a brand-new one instead!
I have been using a Blackjack in the meantime (Samsung SGH-i607) which has been meeting my needs and I am now eyeing the HTC Kaiser with lust and envy (deadly sins...)
I'm not dying to sell but if the right offer came along... PM me if you want to negotiate and I might be persuaded to part with it...
after all the difficulties you had getting it replaced, now you're going to get ride of it??? wow.

Its a smart decision, not many people have NEW 8525's. Also as soon as the Kaiser comes out the 8525 is gonna drop in price, which means he'll get less regardless of new or old. You should get rid of that a.s.a.p. But if I were you I would save up for the shift instead of the kaiser.

@neptune:
You're right, this would be a smart decision if I was intent on wringing out every nickel for the 8525 but I am self-employed and my time is too valuable making money on a contract basis to spend it dickering over a few dollars. When I am going to upgrade a device, I typically undersell the market a few bucks to get the sale over with. I actually come out ahead this way all things considered.
I still have it new-in-box...
I have decided to sell my new-in-box AT&T 8525 to the first person who PayPals me $395 US plus shipping. No lowballers, please. This is a fair price and I'm not in a hurry to sell. PM me if you're interested. I'm only advertising it on xda-developers for now; I hate putting up with the herd over at HoFo.
I've had my HTC TyTN (same thing as an 8525/Hermes, etc) and it's been the best device I've ever owned!
For anyone considering purchasing one, you won't regret it.
If I didn't already have one I'd jump on the offer.
Bump
$395 US (PayPal) takes it, buyer pays shipping. Still 100% virgin, new-in-box. C'mon, you know you want it... Reasonable offers now being entertained.
SOLD

Hey all. This hasn't been a very easy decission to make, but given the financial situation I just put myself in by purcahsing an Alienware laptop, I need to sell one of my phones, and sadly, the Tilt lost the coin toss.
Since many of you are like myself and love a great deal, I decided to leave my Tilt in it's "modded" state for sale. The ROM is an offical at&t ROM, but themes and CABS have been left in-place, as also some of the things I got for it like Tom Tom etc. Everything I have for this device is included. All original box items, even the original box. Leather caryy case, and even a brand NEW Motorola BT Headset. Also a 2G memory card. I just listed this on eBay since I'm an eBay junkie, and the price is a staggering low of $250.00! I figure it may get a little auction action, but I can live with parting with it at $250. Not happy about selling it at all, but it's a money thing. Unless someone wants to "donate" $250? haha riiight. Ok, well if anyone wants a sweet deal, and this phone doesn't have a mark on it and the screen has has a screen protector on it from day 1!, then bid away.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170211542910
I'm interested!
Just bid on it.
Thanks. Rub it in.
Just kidding. It's not a happy choice to sell it, but I've been trying to get an Alienware for ages and finally won (auction) one. Oh, and great, I just noticed my other bid on another Alienware seems to be winning so now I'm gonna have to sell myself for a few nights of dirty sex to pay for it. Figures!
Dude if i had 1 million dollars I'd help you out man. Hope you get a new Tilt soon dude. Seems like a sweet deal. Too bad I have a phone or I would have won that auction.
Thanks. The same thing happened when I had my Hermes (8525), but in that case I just got bored tweaking it and decided it was time to move on. I wasn't quite done "playing" with the Tilt. Hell, I didn't really get started aside from a few flashes.
$280, with a day to go. Man, every time I look at the page I feel a pain in my gut.
Trust me your phone will go up in price...a lot of people do not bid until the last minute then it goes crazy!!! I just sold my Samsung i760 on ebay a month ago and the price was $250 for the first 6 days....on the last day I ended up getting $380 for it!!!!
Relax you will get a good price
Legally you can't sell software thats on your phone. You dont own it. If you read the EULA it states that you are buying the right to use there software and that it is non transferable. Be that is it may I would pack my 8 gig with so much stuff and just state that Its the buyers responsibility to delete any unlicensed data.

I'd be surprised to see it go for less than $400. At least that seems to be the going rate these days.
Dude, I hope the TOM TOM is yours that your selling. Hate to think someone buys it and then not able to get the serial# or something for it.
i really don't get why people announce that their kaiser is for sale in a kaiser forum. kinda pointless IMO.

He just trying to get the word of mouth thing going to get the auction to sell for more money.
I have a Tilt for sale that is pretty much brand spanking new. I've used it, I'm not going to lie about that. It has Dutty's latest ROM, and has some nice extra things, such as Garmin's GPS Navigator activated. This I'm not sure how much to sell it for, I guess I'll say best offer for now.
I also have two Tilts that I want to sell which are refurbished, unlocked and flashed with new ROMs. The only problem is that they don't have a back case, battery or stylus as well as other accessories. To be quite honest, I bought them from AT&T's warranty department which is why they lack everything. If this is a problem, I can buy the accessories and package them together with the phone. If it isn't a problem, I'd like to let them go for around $200 before accessories (that' how much I paid for the phones).
200 before or after you buy accessories?

Before, because I payed almost 200 dollars for the refurbs.
So i'm thinking about selling my nexus 6 on a facebook community buy/sell.
I usually give my devices to my family, but its not needed this time so i'm after some opinions on how much i should be asking for.
The phone is 3-4 months old, i lost the reciept recently but its around somewhere... 32GB, bought outright, so unlocked from any network, in perfect working condition. etc, there's just like maybe, 5 to 6 tiny little dints in the screen from keys in pocket :/. You literally cannot feel them, nor see them when the screen is on and takes certain angles to see them when screen is off (thats the only thing wrong with the phone, which i plan on telling on my post). I paid $876 AUD, do you think i could ask for $400-$500?
Opinions? If you were going to resell, what circumstances would you lower the price for & if you were i, how much would you ask for?
amazon is selling the n6 brand new at 399 for the 32gb version, so your $400-500 would be considered a joke, especially a device with a little bit of damage.
@rhystagram,
Your best bet is to go to Swappa.com and look at recent sold prices.

But Amazon is still selling it for much cheaper brand new. Most prospective buyers will look on Amazon first to see what prices are for both new and used.
What local retailers sell them for brand new means nothing when it can easily be attained somewhere else for a cheaper price.
I normally give people hell on those Facebook groups for asking entirely too much for a phone or tablet. Especially if it is used with even the slightest damage.
For instance, a woman was trying to sell a Droid Maxx for almost $400 USD claiming it was new and never pulled from the box, but her pictures clearly showed otherwise because of the damage on the phone and the fact that it didn't have any of the factory protective film on it anymore. The device in mint condition used only goes for about $150.
Basically, it's better to be fair instead of thinking you can charge top dollar for it. Much less troubles in the long run.
Good luck.

I'm sorry, but how is pointing out the proper process for preparing a Nexus 6 for resale completely missing the point? I'm trying to help you avoid future headaches. ???
If you're looking for resale prices, check completed listings on swappa or eBay.

I agree with checking eBay or local buy/sell/trade sites for prices to get a feel for how much it will cost.
Note this, however: Amazon Australia does not sell the Nexus 6 that I can find. It is true that there was a Prime Day deal today in the states for it (pretty sure it's over now), but Prime Day is only for the US site, not for the international versions.
Plus $500 AUD is $368 ish USD.
Mate. Put it on Gumtree. You could likely get around 400 to 450 bucks for it if it is indeed in the condition you say.
I was in the market to replace my parent’s old Galaxy Note 2. So I’ve been searching around for comparable phone that has slight upgrades. My Budget is around $300. Parents need a phone with removable battery and good GPS so I’m limited to the LG G3, G4 and Note 3 and 4. Also wants screen at 5.5 inches or larger. So was concerned to read about this widespread bootloop issue. After reading up on this issue it seems all old models/ will eventually be affected. I usually purchase phones second hand off of eBay or Swappa but in this case It seems I must be very careful as it seems many people are unloading these devices which will eventually fail. Some have sold their devices beforehand because of this and I’m sure as second hand buyers we will inherit/get the issue in time. Also not sure about how warranty works for second hand buyers. I’m with T-Mobile by the way. What do you guys think about buying a G4 right now? Safe bet or stay away? Also if you guys know any comparable devices that meet all the criteria or most let me know. Thanks
I'll throw my two cents in here. I bought an LG G2 about a year ago and loved the LG style of hardware, button placement, and great performance. I had the old upgrade itch rear its ugly head and so I decided the G4 was the phone for me. Generally it wouldn't bother me to buy mint used phones, but I decided in this case I should do some research. I found out about the bootloop issue and decided it wasn't worth the risk (for me). An awesome deal came up on eBay, brand new G4 in box for $348, snapped that up right away, got it yesterday and from my time with it so far I love it. Best phone I've ever owned. Sorry for the long preamble, here's my advice, if you can swing the extra $40 -$50 for a new boxed phone (assuming a deal like that pops up on eBay again) I would say go for it. The extra $50 in my mind is well worth the peace of mind knowing that it has a warranty. I will say that when I was looking at Swappa I saw a lot of like new T-Mobile refurbs for the G4, however I was still a bit hesitant on those because I couldn't find much info on T-Mobile's refurbishment process. You may be more comfortable with T-Mobile refurbs than I was though so something to consider. I hope you find something that will work well!
Thanks for the advice

Yeah the scary part is it seems people are just unloading the phones and you cant really know which ones will have issues later. If i buy new from ebay will i still be covered by T-Mobiles warranty ? I thought to get that you had to buy the phone direct from them ? I will keep looking around to see if any deals come up.

I don't think you'll be covered by T-Mobile's warranty, but you should be covered by LG's manufacturer warranty (I would think anyway) as long as it's new in box. Also a lot of the new supply is likely to be manufactured after the date when they had issues. The issue dates were from months 05-08 of 2015 (from what I've read in the forums). The phone I got from eBay was manufactured in 09 2015 so it should *fingers crossed* be just fine.

your right. Before i buy it ill have to ask the seller a lot of questions like when was it manufactured and whats the serial numbers and such. Will look into LG's warranty coverage for eBay. I think on eBay you can also buy squaretrade coverage as well.

I'm not aware of any phone that comes with a sim pre-installed.
T-Mobile phones come with an unactivated sim on a punch out card. They are not "installed" in the phone. The Swappa seller is not including this sim in his listing.

Used prices are roughly 300 used so new would cost 500ish but there have been sales that brought the price down to 400ish. Keep waiting and it'll drop even more.

well right now the G4 (H811) is going for $400 (Full Price) and just recently there was a $75 off from $400 but ended already....just wait or if you have $100 more to spare just get it, but i just recommend to wait a bit to see a permanent price cut on the G4 or even the V10.
