Which Kaiser did you get ATT Tilt, MDA, XDA??
Are you using Stock ROM?
it is a v1615 in the UK, and I am still using stock rom.
Windows Live is missing from the stock v1615 ROM.
The Cab is Here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=370184
Or google this Site for Windows Live CAB.
thank you kindly
Just got myself a Kaiser about a week ago, and upgraded from an old O2 XDA. I've noticed on this model theres no MSN. Did Microsoft remove it? Or has T-Mobile given me a ****ty rom again?
Thanks in Advance.
I have a Kaiser from T-Mobile and I'd have Windows Live Messenger (msn)
I didn't have MSN on my Kaiser from T-Mobile when I got it back in December.
They were talking about closing the port MSN uses so people couldnt use it. Not sure if it ever happened but it would be odd for them to cause such a fuss about it, and then include it in their ROM. Still works fine though, and theres plenty of links to the cab kicking around on here.
idk if this is the right thing, i've got the cab on my comp. and can upload it if needed, but try this out first.

Sorry for the late reply. I've tried that link beofre posting here, it's basically a web based version of MSN, that involves loading webpages when switching between conversations/used for old mobile phones with limited internet. I was looking for the cab with the software if possible! Thanks in advance! =)

Forgive me if this sounds stupid, believe I've done a lot of search before asking =/
anyway here it goes:
After flashing the ROM posted in the sticky "Herald MODDing for newbs" I can't find my MSN messenger anywhere. Now I can only use the web version! Where can I get it back? Is a .cab or something out there?
Oh, and, I can't figure out how to use touchflo as well. I tried wiping the screen from bottom to top a LOT times. Nothing happened. Everything else worked, tho, like picture viewer or finger-scrolling.
Here is a zip wich includes the Windows Live Messenger installation CAB file.
Just install it on your device and your done. The settings you need to work through are very easy.
Installation completed with no problem. But..
It doesn't matter whether I'm on wi-fi or GPRS, when I try to sign in it says "Windows Live was unable to establish an Internet Connection." and blah blah blah. Asking me to check my connection settings. Well, IE worked fine. I can surf. So what's going on?
Thx
Thanks been looking for this
Works great on my wing
Have my msn mail on mail lits
next thing i need it how to auto check names on mms works on sms
never mind. I googled aggressively and found that it was an older version of software conflicting with Windows Live Mobile. It was called CE Star. The newest version does not have the connection problem.
Im glad to help you guys. Want anymore cabs ??

I'm glad that you were able to resolve your issue with the Windows Live Mesanger but unfortunately im unable too. I am able to connect via WiFi but im not able to connect GPRS, are you able to connect w/o WiFi? If so, do you have a .cab file or a website that you can direct me too. Any help on this issue would be great. Thanx
It still does not work for me

After uninstall ce-star, I had same problem:
I setup both wi-fi and bluetooth dialup through my cellphone. Even when wi-fi is connected, windows live insist on dialing through bluetooth. And the worst of it, it will keep on dialing until soft reset and nothing else can stop it.
Any idea?
Thanks
I found a program at one time, that would scan all my installed software on my phone. And update any older versions. I can't find this program on my new phone. Can anyone help? I upgraded my phone and I have looked all over for this cab. It was pretty good and finding and updateing my older versions. Any help would be greatful. Thank you so very much..

I 've ben trying to install the lastest version of Bing Mobile on my Tilt and every time i try i get Sorry, the resolution on this device is not supported, please visit http://m.bing.com for the best searchexperience. I downloaded from marketplace and Bing mobile site and still no luck can anyone help.
Exact same problem... just started today. Bad Bing, bad!
Please repost fix if you find out anything. Thanks in advance.
I can't take credit for this, but it worked for me.
Your download installed on my Tilt, but I don't like M$'s new design nearly as much as the old one. Any idea why the old version stopped working, or how to d/l & install the old version without it updating?

For some reason, this CAB fix did NOT work for me. It installed on my Tilt, but there's been NO change, and I don't know why... Is there something I need to do other than restart the device after installing it on the Tilt?
Thanks for your help.
And I can't find it anywhere in programs or anything. So, if it was supposed to "automatically" do something to stop Bing from telling me that it can't work, and directing me to the web... I don't know what it is... and I need help.
Thanks again...
