Where can I find an installation cab for quickmenu? I had it on EliteRC2 and now I am using ROMeOS and I really want that menu back... have done multiple searches but cant find it

I don't want to start a flame here, but I am VERY curious as to how one could do multiple searches on "quickmenu" and not find that program? Perhaps there is something wrong with the web design where clicking search is not clear enough. cdaws306 do you have any suggestions? If you click on search at the top right of the forum site, and type in quickmenu, nothing comes up? Try using the built-in forum search on the titles only. Still nothing?
Best way is to google whatever your searching for. Be sure to put in XDA before what you enter what you are searching.

PS: Only one option to fill in the blank = "new"
Not interested in jumping into a potential fire pit, but I too use Google and simply put XDA in my serach criteria. I find that searching XDA by using Google outside of XDA is the fastest way to go.

In case you are ever stuck and the search bar at the top doesn't find what you are looking for, just search through google adding xda dev into the search bar....it is a much more comprehensive search.
As many of you know, this forum is filled with "experts" on these phones. Newer people look up to this experts for answers. Today, I will show you how we experts happen to know so much and know the exact link to SOOOO many different things. How we can, out of no where, remember the exact link to something like a cab file for, I don't know, S2U2.

Hope, Kazzx is just kidding.
But, sometimes I noticed that the search doesn't work properly. Even if I give the simple search, for which I got 100 results the previous day/hour, It says no results found. Then shows the advanced search option.
May be some bug in the forum s/w? Or is it due to the traffic? Don't know. I have noticed this many a times. I just check the same after few minutes/hour. Then I get results for the same criteria.

I noticed this when I used "Search this Forum" on the top-right corner of the forum.

This may mislead the newcomers, who may think that nothing exists for their search.

Don't use Search this forum. Use the regular search on the top. That one uses a custom google search. The regular build in search system is horrible.

alright sorry guys, I've done a search in these forums and i apologize if I'm not doing it correctly.
I was wondering if there is any software out there such as bearshare or limewire for a mobile device. Every once in a while i here a song on the radio and cant remember when i get home to download it.
I did a bit of research on google, and it seems like there was quite a bit of stuff floating around about this topic in '05 and '06, but nothing I found seemed to be new.

There have been a few I saw..I used one back in 2007 but it was deactivated and the project was trashed. Ill do some more searching and see what I can dig up.

look for and app called Music ID, it listens to the song and finds the title and name of the artist, but requires a data connection.
ya i can always look up lyrics on google too, but it'd be much cooler if i could download straight from my phone because I'm rarely home.

ya know what? im looking for where they are LOCATED ON THE DEVICE ITSELF. the google search didnt help (plus a couple more)

You can't because they are not stored as raw files, you have to read what the search turned up. apk's are signed zip files, they open with winzip/winrar/7zip.
I can point you to where it is on the search, but that would defeat the purpose of learning. It is answered in the first 5 search results and requires the use of one of the above mentioned programs.

Actually it was the first page, 3rd result. The reason I didn't answer was because it was easy to find the answer to it yourself.
I got a book I wrote that I want to make an app of.
I never programmed on a android system before and I cant java, but I use to program in other languages.
What I need to know were to start.
I have android sdk installed.
The app need meny for the different chapters.
All text in the chapters need to be scrollable or buttons to changes sides.
There should also be a meny item that explains the chapters. Also an about button.
So how can I do this?

Well i just think development is for program you do and that kind, but in this section its all kind of stuff that has nothing to do with development.
I want to now how to program this with android sdk and eclipce.
I dont want to write a new book.. I already have done that...

Sorry for that, i misunderstood your question.
I'm interested in this topic as well as i know a few people who wants to publicize their Books works as an App, to prevent people from trading it around without paying their dues.
Ahh one person that understand this
Itso true that I want to make money for a app that has this book. Why should I not?
