How to install
1. Backup You Device
2. Install the above application & WAD2
3. Extract the winMobile6.5.zip and copy to your device
4. softreset
5. WAD2 select the "window mobile 6.5" for portrait
and "windows mobile 6.5 land" for landscape

you could let things "hang" off the dock if you leave a transparent section in the background image

Resolution 960 x 748. This is original resolution, maybe full version of SPB 3.0 can use this resolution, 960 x 640 resolution should be better.

960 X 748, because use to cross 3 screen, so the resolution different from normal VGA resolution.

Just modify any picture ur like to resolution 960 X 748 pixel.

Looks like you can still use your normal VGA backgrounds, SPB just stretches it to fit. So its not neccessary to resize the photos.

I used the ratio at 320x249 on my qva, saves space and works fine

Icons are messed up once i changed to landscape mode..any idea how to solve the problem?

I take it you're using the 'old style' Today screen, and not M2D or the Titanium panel...? Unfortunately, that is a problem with the newer WM 6.5 beta builds, it started happening in build 23*** I think. I'm still looking for a solution to that..

You can switch by going to Start > Settings > Personal > Home, then switch to the 'Items' tab and select 'Windows Default'. That will enable the Titanium / CHome Panel.
On the left is the 'old style' home screen (doesn't have very much on it, but you can choose a bunch of different components for it; Tasks, Messaging, etc.), on the right is the newer 'Titanium' or 'CHome Panel':
Note: If you have any questions more detailed than this, please do a search on XDA-Dev and you'll see a lot more information..

The third post now has a couple anime wallpapers as well, I really wasn't sure which ones to choose... Most of them have really light backgrounds, so they don't really work too well with white text.

Tested on My Touch Pro, but it should work for all resolution types.

Thanks for feedback guys. Yeah no matter what i try to improve the picture quality (sharpen, reduce noise etc), as soon as they go back on the phone they dont look as good... ill try and find a way to improve.

Yes it should work with your Kaiser, and as it is uninstallable, if you do not like it you can remove it.

You can look online for any sort of desktop wallpaper and after you find one you like/love, you can just resize it to 640x480 in photoshop or something (anything with a good resizing algorithm) and it'll look brilliant. I mean, you're going from a picture with a detail level much higher than 640x480 and shrinking it into 640x480. It will look very detailed.

You could also do an advanced google image search and change the image size to 640x480

Couple of things to look out for Kam.
1) If the Rom your using is CFC compressed, the Rom will be faster but manila may be a bit grainy. Doesn't really matter how high of quality the wp is.
2) Manila resizes your wp. I forget the exact dimensions it makes it (something in the 500's x 480 I think). I've had the best luck with 800x480 wp's.

Heh... I'm actually using an image I snapped with my Fuze's camera. Fantastic view of a sunset over the Milwaukee skyline as seen from my 6th floor vantage point at work.
It's a great camera... Take it to the Zoo or the Beach or the Park and Make your own wallpaper! ^^d
