yeah im running it. you use the wizard base rom and replace wavedev.dll and battdrvr.dll with ones from the prophet rom to get the sound and battery working. install arcsoft to restore mms. no camera support though. looking into it.
one of the big errors though is that coming out of sleep soft resets it, so doesnt make it very practical!!
edit: apparently the battery needs to get used to wm6 and the soft reseting stops after a few days, mine now has

I'm looking forward to flash my Charmer (MDAcII) to WM6, but I won't try to mess up my phone with some beta rom.
BTW: Any ideas if WLAN will work under WM6? According to 'some' posts here in the forum, WM5 + WLAN on Charmer = Not working properly. :-/

everythings beta, there will never be a official wm6 final as htc will only develop wm6 for new models. as for the wlan stuff, wm5 wasnt the problem it was the drivers written for it by the wifi card maker.
imo wm6 isnt worth it, its not finished, big problem with standby, the camera doesnt work, mms isnt included as standard. it just looks pretty, and that can be done on a wm5 device anyway.

S730 6.1 build20279

I have made a rom build 20279(XIP and SYS).
The sys all come from s740,and i haven't remove anything.
OEM come from office 6.0,it is Complete too.
And,i add chinese into sys.
So the rom can work perfect with en&cn.
ROM's default language is chinese,you can change to en by my explain in the package.

ok, I think it's something with my pc.
I switched to alcaline's rom and the problem isn't solved
It's nothing with this rom, I think I'll port it tomorow again.
What I've seen was nice.
For my activesync problem I'll start a new tread.

Difference between this one and Alcaline's
Can you tell us what's in this one? Alcaline's ROM has been pretty stable and without any goodies in this new one, I don't feel an urge to swap. Thanks in advance!

Available RAM

What are your experiences with the available RAM when using your ROM? I understand you ported it from an S740 which has a lot of RAM, so I'm curious if it runs stable with the 64 MB the S730 has.
It seems like Alcaline's ROM doesn't solve the RAM-leakage problem so please report your findings on this subject. Thanks in advance.

DEAR ALL
Before i upload it ,i have test almost one day,i dont found bug so i try to share to all in xda, I only share my roms to chinese before because it only contain one language.
I dont optimize it but unlock system .The RAM is about 18 with SD card when the system start up.
I have to my best to enlarge the RAM in my new rom ,but it seems 25M is the max.YES ,i have forbid many DLLs. It seems we have't no idae to get mort RAM.
And, my english is so .........

I'm running Alcaline's ROM without any major problems... has anyone tried this one? Is it worth to change to this rom?

I have installed this rom yesterday and it rocks. Everything works great except the "qwerty" keyboard highlight(?). I think that this rom is worth installing. It adds some fancy features such as new Sliding Panel home screen theme and new version of internet explorer with full site preview. GJ

I have to say that I have windows sliding panel media as homescreen with a photo on the background made with a normal digital camera (7.1Mp I believe). I think this uses more memory than when the rom is just installed.
memory leak: unfortunately ,,, after a few days I can say this is still a problem. before I rebooted my phone for you it has something about 11Mb after ''Oxois closeapps'' runned onetime.
anyway,,, this is an very good rom , I didn't find any bug in the past few day.. one thing well what I think is that you don't have to wait 20secs before you can enter you're pincode on startup.
I only still have an synchronisation problem .. but I have tried more rom's to solve this problem en I have this problem even with alcalines rom... sow if anybody would help ---> this tread
I hope I give enough info for this rom to convince you to port it.. it's a nice rom.

After a restart task manager said the free mem was 18,452MB. More than I expected actually. I had about the same on the standard rom.

I think it only offers Chinese and English language support...
The font used in this rom (looking at the screenshots) look horrible.

No Dutch like Alcalines rom.
No Dutch xT9, wasn't there a sort of install for other xT9 languageses (lijkt me ook wel fijn )?

The RAM is the same to office ROM because i dont optimize it.

I have dumped my shipped danish rom on my diamond so that i could allways get back to stock rom from custom if i needed to send my blackstone in for repairs..
And i've decided to upload the rom so that others can do the same..
I have dumped this from my Blackstone and taken out OS only. This means that you will need HardSPL OR USPL to flash it !

Is it posible that you can take stock and weather program out of the tf3d, so it could be used without tf3d?
Do you cook with or withou tf3d.
The tf3d could maybe be as a cab. file.
I like windows raw, without programs. But with tweaks, and the thinks that are needed, hotfix etc.
Great to have a cooker, I would like to test, I have not been flashing a Htc, but I have flashed my Eten x800 many times. But this is a little different. But with the right instruktions this should not be a problem. Of cause in danish.

Hi, I just now got my fist HTC Diamond 2(topaz). It is my first windows mobile phone and I was really excited about upgrading to 6.5, but it is not coming out any soon . However I am little confused how to do that. So can you tell which rom should I use for my HTC topaz. Please step by step... thx... Would prefer most stable Rom,
Is there also dictionary somewhere.. I don't know what all these words me... cooked...radio.. and so on..
(I googled but roms come out very fast.... and couldn't find any good tutorials..)

Our Chiefs are always cooking roms with the newest applications and share them to us.
In the benchmark you can see which rom is the fastest. But I woud suggest you just try them out!

Are you 100 % sure that as a newbie you really need to flash new rom first? Why not to get to know your device a bit before making any changes?

Proper Radio version for my HTC Kaiser

I have HTC Tytn II with a custom rom installed. it always happens to give a no sound problem. it just goes all sounds muted I've heard about it might be because of wrong radio version installed. I've installed Ultimate-X v9 WWE 6.1 rom. What is the best radio for me? Thank you for your help.

It depends on the rom...and frankly I wish you the best of luck in finding a working link to radios...a lot of them expired years ago, and I've not heard of any places that have an active archive of radios. You can try them all you might get lucky.

Guys of anyone still alive I need any working link to download - upgrade my HTC Kaiser so it can work with 3G ... I have HTC Kaiser working in great condition only problem it's still with shopped window and Ron etc ...plz try ur help and redirect me where I can find working not dead link so I download the rom and radio etc ... Mate looks like we both in the same issue here with dead forum and all developers of HTC Kaiser were all gone ... Anyway I can help u finding the proper sound cab utility I will send u a working website where u can find more than 4K working cabs for HTC for free I tested the site yesterday it's great , but only if u can help me by sharing ur rom,radio and all updates u have cuz 3G isn't working in my HTC cuz it's still on shipped window 6 ... Any working link for new window 6.1 or good custom rom that can solve my 3G will be great ,,, uploade ur rom and replay to my message and I will redirecting to the website where u can find ur sound cab fix
