This has been asked, and answered, many times in the EXCALIBUR section. A search in that section and you will find many answers...

Hi All
I know, there are some forum entries for wrong mapped qwertz and qwerty hardware keyboars and I know about those entries.
What I want to do is to change the soft keyboard, what means the keyboard at the middle bottom when sending a sams f.ex.
Is there a registry entry to change this from qwerty to qwertz.
Regards
Serge

So I have ordered WWE-Shift and it does not have scandinavian buttons on its keyboard. Could it be possible to change new buttons to keyboard or is hardware on Scandic-Keyboarded Shift and WWE-shift someway different? What I have read taking keyboard buttons away is not the trickiest part of dissassembling Shift. So if I only get replacement buttons from somewhere could it be possible to do?
Hi,
keyboard layout for wm and vista is set in registry. see:

sådeså...
got my shift today and it has nordic-keyboard allready for 800€. others are selling shifts at 1300-1400€ price with nordic keyboards here in Finland.
Hi sniveri
Where did you get Nordic keyboard version for 800Euro?
Now it's even difficult to get the Shift here in Norway :-(
Here is operator called Saunalahti, they are offering Shift for 800€ with their SIM-card.
Ahhhh, I see.
Can't buy a shift on a contract in a foreign country, so that's a no go for me.
I got a swedish one here:

sim card is optional

Thanks for the links
On Norwegian Standart keyboard the Ø comes before Æ (From left)
On Danish keyboard Æ comes first then Ø (I'm originally Danish)
How is it on the Shift that you guys got?
On my Shift (danish) it's like this: from left (Æ "orange" Ø "Blue") and (Ø "orange" Æ "Blue")
I see, so they adapted it to be Both Norwegian and Danish at the same time.
If you have the time, could you please upload an image of your keyboard.
Thanks

change the dictionnary (T9) language to french, and you will have a FRENCH AZERTY keyboard.
I use my diamond like that.
but then i cannot use my T9(in dutch) right?
hey dear friends,my X1 has Persian alphabet on it keys, but I haven't realized how can i type Persian with my keyboard(hardware keyboard)
what should I do!??
I've never seen a persian X1 before, but for languages that don't use the latin character set the toggle is the key to the left of the spacebar, where the umlaut button usually is on WWE X1s.
tnx dear friend for ur help...I pressed the key that is between spacebar and Sym...yeah,u are right...But changed language isn't persian! How can I change it to Persian??
Hello friends,
I was searching for a way of modifying the strip of symbols that the qwerty keypad offers you we you tap and hold a key for a while (e.g.: !àáâãä ... ). What I wanted to do is to include some symbols quite often used in Spanish (¿, ¡, ...) but not present in the original qwerty keypad.
After searching for a while, I have not found anything about this. Does anyone know how to do it?
Thanks in advance,
Javier
