I have the HTC Touch Diamond with Windows 6.1 Mobile in Dutch (given to me by my employer). I would like to download Windows 6.1 Mobile in English and install it on my HTC.
Is this possible?

You can't download and install the OS as such. But you can flash another ROM with Windows 6.1 Mobile in English. Be it an official HTC ROM or any other ROM 'cooked' for the Diamond by forum members. Read this forum and this topic carefully about flashing Diamond ROM's. Good luck!

You will not get any official ROM with Windows Mobile 6.5 because it´s not yet released by Microsoft. The latest version ist WM 6.1 and you will find it as download on the HTC webpages

i've heard that apparently it's not compatible?
Would be interested to hear as well. Original Windows Mobile 6.5 without any personal add-ons/tweaks.

Take a look in the ROM section! There are loads of 6.5 ROM's to choose from. If you want a standard 'untweaked' version check out this ROM... download V8 in post #2... superb!
Diamond2 official rom on Diamond?

Since the official 6.5 rom is available for Diamond2 (Topaz):

It brings up the question, is it possible or does it make any sense to load it on Diamond, should it work? Of course NBHUtil must be used first.

I wonder if there is any ROM windows mobile 6.5 in Portuguese (Portugal) so I run on my HTC Diamond.
I been looking for the forum, but I find it very confusing to me.

If you want WM6.5 Scrolling than Flash your Device with a WM6.5 ROM and Problem solved.

for viva, i tried 6 or 7 diffrent versions but afterall i downgrade to
wm 6.1

I personally prefer wm6.1 and Sense 2.1, it's a good compromise between comfort, speed and ram usage, but here is one you are searching for:
