is it possible to redirect the new sms notification LED (circular flashing) to new email?
The circular flashing is better to seen.

guys,
when i recieve a new sms i get the notification incon (text balloon with 3 stripes) instead of the sms icon in my top bar.
does anyone know where (probably in a manilla file) i can change this?

That happens if you have multiple unread notifications. Ie. more then 1 unread sms, or 1 unread sms and 1 unread e-mail or a missed phonecall. You have none of that?
soft reset and now it's working fine again, will update if things go wrong again
I have rooted my phone and updated all my apps....i think tht no led is causing it to delay the chomp sms popup.
What happens is i receive a txt message, i see the no led notification and then after pressing home and unlocking screen my homescreen shows no popup but shows text message icon in notification bar.....needless to say the popup comes up an hour later...with OLD text messages as well as a new current received one.....what is the problem here? is it a no led in conjunction with Chomp sms? or a plain chomp sms and root problem? im very confused....
EDIT** have verified this is a No LED problem.... wanting a way to fix this somehow. i just posted in No Led thread also.

I've been using Vito's SMS Chat for quite a while. It works great but one thing bugged me.
When I received a message, SMS Chat automatically dismiss the notification and hence the status LED lights would never stay lit. Anyone experiencing this problem?
Is there anyway to have SMS Chat dismiss the message notification after I click on the dismiss icon? I'm using version 1.25.

Anyone know how to disable the text message scrolling in the notification bar when you receive an SMS?
I still want to receive the notification, but not the message body scroll through.
I'm on DK3 rom - unchanged.

i have a little problem with my CM 7.2. I just wonder how to turn on the SMS notification ?
When I receive massage I can hear the sound only. Screen is black and vibrations don't work. I use the stack application. Of course there is a icon in the status bar.
Try in the settings of the stock application. You must have there an option to modify notifications of the incoming messages...
