Ok so I've noticed that there is no real thread covering everything about getting TF3D on our kaisers(actually there was but it was closed because there were too many stupid questions being asked so please dont make a repeat of that) so I'm devoting this one to that purpose. First I'd like to say thanks to Swtos for the AudioManager tab Fix and worstenbrood for the sleep fix and a big Thanks to -G- for his ROM. Also Snailslug for his TouchResponse. Of course the biggest credit goes to Chainfire and Shirke for making the CAB for TF3D, and the Polaris3D Team doing most of the testing, and also Laurentius26 for testing TF3D in his cooked ROM and helping to finish the 2D drivers which were needed to fix the 3D drivers. Now I reccomend "-G-'s DK.9.Lite ROM" or any of his naked,lite,final ROMs (9-10) because TF3D seems to be the fastest on these ROMs even faster than the ROMs with TF3D cooked in
The download includes a README for people who know what they are doing(who know how to flash a ROM, what D3D drivers are etc.) now.

Now I reccomend -G-'s DK.9.Final ROM because TF3D has proven to be the fastest on this ROM even faster than the ROMs with TF3D cooked in

Bro, I think you are mistaking TF3D for Manilla 2D... I know Garmin cooks 2D into his ROMs, but I haven't seen one of his ROMs rocking the 3D version.
There are cooks out there with 3D cooked in, but, as our Kaisers aren't built specifically to run that, it can be slow and buggy. Porting 3D to the Kaisers are still a work in progress, but, if you want to try them, check the Kaiser ROM development thread... Here is a list of all the modifications I have tested and know are working, there aren't many yet but as I continue to test others the list will grow EDIT: Im really stupid my bad. These manila files are apparently different therefore most mods will not work although there may be some that do work.
Second Edit: Let's make this a bit more understandable. This version of TF3D is basically a few versions of TF3D mixed together until they created a working version of it. (an educated guess because chainfire said he had put in a few files from his raphael into the build.) So, that means some of these manila files are replaceable and will work with some add-ons, but not all of them. This is because some add-ons aren't designed to work with different versions of the manila files. Hope this helps explain it a bit better

A: Try disabling the today time-out. Also, make sure you installed the standby CAB correctly.

I am assuming that it is installed on top of the existing ROM, much the way Manilla 2D was at the beginning. How is the stability and speed? I have tried ROMs with 3D cooked in and there were too many issues to be able to use it as an everyday device (ie unresponsiveness, power issues, etc.)...
I find it to be about as fast as manilla 2D the only thing that loads a little bit slow is the music tab and the apps tab
Also my power lasts much longer thanks to the standby fix by worstenbrood

it still needs work though
the sliding function enables a start.exe for a diff today screen and if u close that out ur phone will freeze
my pictures dont show up properly.....only the first one shows and the rest r all white. they show up fine once i tap on the white ones to view in full mode
overall, tf3d is quite speedy and functional

The key with the landscape is you need to copy paste toggle manila.exe into your windows file from program files and leave secondToday running in the background! Here is the zip for you KaiserII101. The read me inside explanes it all exept for the toggle manila thing, that is for this ROM! Good man for getting this all together!

Welcome to my ROM thread!
This ROM is the first one in my series of ROMs for the Touch HD, and it's designed to have the latest and greatest applications and improvements. I also make ROMs for the Touch Pro device and that can be found in this thread.
Because of this it may not always be as stable or bugfree, as a stock ROM. However, I can assure you, it's much... MUCH faster than any stock ROM on your device.
The ROM is being continuously developed and bug fixed and there's almost daily releases. I've decided to name each release by the date when it was released. For example, 33109 would have been released on March 31, 2000.
The ROM is currently based on the 21042 OS core, with all the new goodies from the newly announced Rhodium device (the Touch Pro 2).
The ROM should already be %99 bug free.
You will find bugs with Manila, not setting the time correctly on the HomeScreen or little things like that, but these are all known bugs with Manila.
- This ROM is a Ferrari, therefore it drinks a lot of gas and burns a lot of rubber (RAM)... so be prepared to charge your phone more often!

Q: Why does my phone rotate from portrait to landscape like crazy ??
A: Calibrate your G Sensor from the Settings control panel. If that doesn't do much, disable the Screen Gyrator from the same control panel.
Q: Does this ROM have video call ?
A: Yes !
Q: If I use this in the US, will the time jump back and forth one hour if I access the clock settings from the home screen ?
A: Yes. This is a bug in the Manila interface, that will hopefully sort itself out when the old DST time will kick in.
Q: Why is the phone a little slow when you first boot it up ?
A: ConnectionSetup tries to detect your SIM card for the first 30 seconds after boot up. During that time, the phone might be a little sluggish.
Q: How's the battery life with this ROM ?
A: It's good for me, but you still have to charge your phone everyday.
Q: Does this ROM have the new Rhodium Start Menu ?
A: NO! It has the default windows start menu

What is the build 33109 ?
You said you'll be naming them as the date of release. Now I noticed that you used 09 for the year rather than just 9, but then you used 3 for the month rather than 03. That might get confusing depending on how you handle the single digit days number.
Also, keep in mind that different parts of the world would read dates as day, month, year instead of month, day, year. That'll cause confusion, making some people think an older version is actually a newer version or vice versa.
My suggestion would be to use a 3 letter abbreviation for the month. So MAR3109 or APR0109, etc.

hey nrg! welcome and great you are starting to cook hd roms! used your tp roms and know what you can do, just one question! i have been burning my mind out trying to get more programs with the new rhodium startmeny and frustrated to max, how do you do that! in your program tab i see more programs, four rows?
i am not an expert but have been trying with different changes to the manila registry with half success....
right now i am used to using the new startmeny and the only setback with it is its limitation on how many programs you can have there, i will test out your rom.

KNOWN BUGS:
- Album: you have to navigate w/ the d-pad because the new album needs htcscroll2 to function correctly but it's not compatible w/ wm6.1. Making a copy of htcscroll.dll and name it htcscroll2.dll does NOT work! Do not attempt to do it.
- Built-in Activesync initial setup (not the htc-skinned activesync wizard) and Connection settings: please use d-pad to navigate.
If you want footprints, install the mortscript cab attached. The footcam files have already been patched in the rom.

How long did you wait? The connection takes a while before letting you to choose the carrier, which I noticed ever since R2A NAM is released. I think it takes 1min or so.

Mine does not have the buttons. I just tried to install it and it would not work because it's probably trying to replace the files being used, so I cooked it and it seems to work. I'll update the thread for the ROM that has this, as well as provide instruction on cooking it.

yes, the panels are included and radio panel works
you can reply to text messages fine with hardware keyboard but as outie said, the htc messaging is not included, so it's via standard windows messaging

i'm having problems with accuracy of touch screen. if i want to hide the software keyboard, when i press the small keyboard icon it registers as a 'p' or 'q' or something else. anyone else got this?
further to the above, in the menu in the htc picture viewer, the touch screen response is very inaccurate again
my reception has improved dramatically though! i'm on radio 1.14.25.55 and am getting two more bars everywhere

p.s. does the alarm works properly so that the sound is playing and repeating?
The new htc album seems to require htcscroll2 to function correctly, but htscroll2 does not work on wm6.1 devices. As a result, touch & scroll functions don't work in album but works for everything else afaik. I have tried many different methods to fix it but still no go. Either album works and the rest don't, or album doesn't and the rest do, so I just have to sacrifice album. You can still navigate w/ the optical joystick/hardware keys.
As far as the accuracy of the soft keyboard button, yes I am experiencing the same problem, and have no idea how to fix. It might be related to htcscroll2 (hell I'll blame it for everything). If anyone knows how to fix please share.

up and running the past 10 hours with this ROM
Not That I am surprised, but this ROM is almost flawless. Needed a very small tweak to fix the long hold that was needed to be used on explorer/apps (see thread on HTCPedia) , but other than that it works great. I have it running with radio 1.17.x.x and have iGO8 runnig smooth with no need to use anything else. Opera works great. No t haveing HTC taskbar was a nag for a while, especially because apps kept open. After a while i stopped closing the open tasks and let them be, simply because it makes the phone be even faster and memory isn't a big problem anyhow for the HD. I close all taks only before running iGO so I can use the TTS voice.
SMS works OK, nothing to write about.. I wish the ROM would have been with the start menu on bottom, but it is not such a big deal. TF3D (sense) works fine. Can't comment about Footprint, Twitter, and media player as I don't use them.
It is a FAST FAST FAST Rom. For people with no patience like me it is a blessing. I have been testing about 8 different ROMS, and I kije NRG's ones and HelloNasty's MARY versions. However Dytty is defenately formed a leage of his own, and I know exactly why this is a holy grail as he puts it.
BTW- works great with Windows 7 sync (media center)
Will I keep it? sure. It is really flawless, and has nothing much to add after it installs.
Great ROM! But i´ve three Questions....
1. I dont have the chance to change the X button so if i klick the X button the programm are minimized but i wanna close it by a click.
2. In the Taskmanager in right Corner i dont have the drop down menu for the running programms.
3. How i can change from AM/PM to 24H clock??? If i change location to Germany for example, he dont do this... plz help me

Having tested practically every HD rom out there, from 6.1, 6.5 to 6.5.1, I have to say this is by far the most superior and actually feels like an official ROM.
OK slight hicup with the touch delay (fixed with the REG fix or cab on this thread) lets get passed that.
The HTC sense runs faster than any other rom by far, weather animations are smooth and look and feel as they should, all the tabs work well, even the footprints as last is brilliant, simply take a pic as usual, click save as footprint, gps is instant add your info and all saved.
Battery life seems similar to most Leo type roms out there.
Not sure how this guy does it, but he sure makes a superb rom, thanks Dutty

Plenty of roms mate, Try 23xxx builds from Maryone, Miri, PhamQuang etc etc.................... i.e. SEARCH!!
Can anyone comment on if the photo and music tabs store all thumbnails for landscape view? I've tried other ROMs and after a few swipes I got generic thumbnails and can't tell what they are until they stop moving.

Can anyone using this say how HTC Messaging performs when you have a lot of texts?
I think this is a great ROM and feels really nice.
I have just one problem which I have also experienced with other ROMs with Picture Messaging.
My pics show 2 sizes next to it, when I open it it is always ICON size. It's as if I need to request a download, perhaps its a UK/O2 issue. Would appreciate any comments.
Also the picture always opens Landscape and when I exit it stays in that mode and I have to select HOME 2 or 3 times.
I would also like to try non HTC msg, is it possible to turn it on via Registry etc?

Opera: I preffer original 9.5 for X1 cause of zooming with volume keys is killer feature for me. Though I now that most people preffer newer version (9.7 / 10) which I do not like that much. So as a matter of choice I left it out completely. You can find it attached to this post.
I simply did not like that every ROM comes with Manila and most of them were slow (no offense to the great cooks here!!) due to the fact that Manila 2.5 was made for Snapdragon CPU. So I decided to make my own and to use PointUI Home 2.
Current WM Version is 29007, this may change with future Releases.
ROM is optimized for speed, usability and graphics. This ROM is intended for those people who do not suffer from ORD but rather for using it on a longer term. I have been using various versions of this ROM for quite some months now so I think most of the Bugs are Ironed out. You may expect to discover a bug or two anyway...as it is the case with every ROM.
Point UI Home 2 consits of a Home Screen with some widgets (which you can choose). There are more widgets available in the PointUI forums, feel free to have a look! There also is a "take me home" button on the bottom of every screen (the small PointUI Logo) which...well takes you always home Except the case you are allready at the start screen. In this case taping the button will open up the "Quick Launch" whre some nifty tools are located. So to speak taping the "take me home" button once takes you home while a second tap opend up the Quick Menu.
There are also other utils integrated in PointUI Home 2 such as a taskmanager, call history and more. Give it a shot and play around with it for some time ;-)

You are doing this at your own risk, I am in no way responsible for breaking your device! (just in case...) I recommend doing a "task 29" before flashing or at least one or two Hardresets after flashing!
After Flash the first boot takes a while. The device will do a reset. After the first boot just hit up the start menu, go to "Tools" and activate PointUI Home 2. Install all your apps and you're done.
Some final remarks: some apps tend to silently add today plugins. These are slowing PointUI Home 2 down so please make shure that apart from PointUI no other item is enabled.

Activation: PointUI is running everything even in free mode. Only thing I came across is the actvation screen. After flash, just accept the terms once. Then after every reboot (which should not happen too often ;-) anyway) and around midnight (you might see it every morning) the following screen is displayed whre you simply shound tap "Cancel". Thats i't (And please: never post a crack ore warez related to this topic here or eslewhere!)

afaik point UI asks for a serial, but you can cancel this and it will work just fine in this rom. you dont need to type any serial in. it will work without.

This build from the WCX Illuminati Team is dedicated to those who use the AT&T Tilt2/Euro TP2 and want maximum customization of their today screen and sense 2.5 tabs. Everything for the AT&T version and Euro TP2 version (TMobile users need to install keyboard mapping cab)of this device is pre-configured for AT&T/Euro, there's no need for cabs to update the keyboard or mms size, there's no need for any gps fix cabs, it's good to go from the get go...just install the ROM.
We always recommend when first installing these ROM's to reboot the device 3 times to ensure everything settles in real nice prior to usage. This time we've added an automated first reboot so the user just needs to restart twice before using, which is a nice feature, just don't freak out that the device restarts itself, it just means the ROM installed correctly Once installed and rebooted the user will see there's no lag when scrolling from tab to tab using the slider, or finger flicking from the screen. We have kept the stock CHT screen for enthusiasts looking to theme or customize their phone the way they want it.
We have included most all necessities and utilities people use on these devices, and have left out things available in other ROMS that we feel most users will never use (cabs for those applications are readily available to install and the device has tons of storage for those that want them.
What we've created is a very fast, sleek, customizable and finger friendly ROM. It's been tested very thoroughly before release, there were zero claims of SOD's or anything not working.
There are two types of builds available:
21916 (start menu softbutton on the top of the screen, most stable build, but less finger friendly than 23148)
This is generally referred to as WM6.5
23148 (start menu softbutton on the bottom of the screen, very finger friendly and a very stable build)
This is generally referred to as WM6.5.5 or WM6.5.X
Both builds provide a huge amount of available device storage space, and allow very good multitasking. Ram use is controlled very well for a UI that's known to consume it.
First variations will be manila 2012 and arcsoft messaging client(Chose these for best stability since cht hasnt been updated in a longgg time) Next variations will be manila 2021(these will be released when I am settled back into things after surgery) Hope you enjoy these...

in start menu to redirect to Windows Settings Page....Heres the fix
Install cab....Then disable manila....hook up via activesync,
browse to \Windows\Start Menu\Programs (theres two of them) delete Settings.lnk....
reboot phone....enable manila...done.....Enjoy

Congratulations on a very good build...I'm not sure what a proper opening for a new bug free fully functional rom should include...I'm not going to smash a champagne bottle against my computer screen (or am I?)....am I supposed to throw my phone from a pitchers mound? Kick it like a kickoff? C'mon
All joking aside, to anyone looking to install, as a tester of the AT&T builds I can say I ran the 23148 while WC was working on the 21916 build...I had no issues whatsoever with how it ran or how things worked, everything was nice.
The 21916 build was ran on my device longer, again, everything worked as it's supposed to...I'm an end user, not a developer, I'm not even an experienced tester.. my phone is used heavily during the course of every day, and when I flash a rom I need it to perform, and this one has, extremely well...I forget what available storage memory was at the fresh install exactly, I know it was over 200MB...the rom is fast and runs multiple apps simultaneously very well...battery usage has been very good...I don't really know what else to explain, as I said, I just use the phone, and am not experienced in testing or explaining what others might want specifics on technically...if you experience anything other than what I have, which has been functionality, you'll need to mention it to WC
Finally it's here. I've been checking the other thread like every 30 mins during the entire last week (literally, kind of).

23148 2012 arc flavour runs butter smooth on my tp2 since 10 days, and speed is not the enemy of battery. So anyone interested in a customisable ROM without compromises should give a try quickly
I recommend radio 4.49.25.17 for western european users.

Screenshots may not be very relevant since it's a stock ROM with out-of-the cab aspect of CHT. It's tweaked for own custom, and doesn't provide any fancy icons / themes out of the box. But there is sincerely enough to do with WVGA CHT themes to do it @ it's own taste quickly if needed.
If you are already a CHT 2 user, just export / import your settings to retrieve your previous home tab layout and configuration. But as I see you come from a Core Cell rom, you won't recover the theming.
As I remember Core, this WCX release will feel lighter, faster and less stuffed (but some features like youtube app will work perfectly, including in landscape browsing). So it might be quite different.

The device in the video is not running the stock today screen that the rom comes with, the clocks were changed, as well as the quickling icons and some other changes...WC has a video of the stock rom and today screen as well but I don't believe he's posted it anywhere

Hi,
I was really drawn to the Today screen in the Youtube video as the date and clock are both much more legible than the one provided in the rom. Do you know what I can change to get them there or where I can get the additional changes/cabs?
A small quirk I also found is that the time zone seems to be stuck on GMT and is grayed out - I have to pretend I am there but any manual resetting of the clock will revert back to the proper time when the device is sync'd thru Activesync. A small fly in the ointment?

Well for those concerned or were wondering, i had my anterior/posterior lumbar fusion surgery on the [email protected] 730 a.m., and home now since the [email protected] p.m., so they are quite amazed at how fast my recovery was for me to be able to walk outta the hospital after such an extensive surgery...but i am home, sore as **** and if you ever have to have this kind of surgery.....OMG...lol.... what you see in the picture is the incision they made in the front, like a c section for a woman, about a 3 inch slice...they removed disk, inserted another disk to promote bone fusion and a small plate to hold it in place with 1 screw, then they flipped me over and inserted 4 screws and 2 rods....fun fun....
