I’m sad to inform you that http://tpro.station59.com has to be shut down. Since announcing version 2 of my tPRO skin series and launching the website last summer, and after 60,000+ downloads since then alone, this project received nearly no support (thank you Michael and John for your donations). Thus, I can no longer maintain domain, hosting and download bandwidth for this website.
I still plan expanding the skin series with support for new applications and introduce new ui designs, and of course share it with this great community. However, due to my heavy workload at another project of mine I am forced to put this one on hold till the end of the summer.

after the test: it does not fit on my screen, sorry don't have the screen capture software installed to show you, i'm using tnyynt's 016 ROM BSN edition,and no other software becouse it's after hard-reset, or is this a VGA version ?
Yes, it's VGA only at this time and designed exclusively for use with Touch Pro. After I'm done with the final release and if there is enough interest I'll be happy to work on a QVGA version with functional landscape layout.
the keyboard is very good and it will be very appreciated to have a QVGA version for other devices,and especially for bulgarian users,who suffer from absence of developers

It seems that your skin does not work with Resco Keyboard Pro v4.36... Cant choose your skin, its not listet in the menu?? Or is a SR needed?

Hey there. Soft reset - if that's what you meant, is definitely not needed. I guess older versions of Resco Keyboard use different format skins. Otherwise if all the skin files are in the right folder \Program Files\Resco Keyboard Pro\Skins\tPRO(tm) it should be at least listed in the options.
I started using it from 5.11 so I wouldn't know. If there's a way to make it compatible with older versions I'll be happy to do it.

Yeah, I'm using the null landscape version right now. Works perfect for me too.
Since I also use a Touch Pro, I don't know how it works on other devices.

Great to hear that. Tell me if you have any issues with it since I'm still working on some rare crashes.
with my version 4.36 the skins are found under Programme (German ROM!) Resco =>KeybSkins. There are folders named "Black", "Default", "Simple" & "tPRO(tm)". All of them are listet without yours. So it seem to be really a different format...

@edit: with a few diffilculties i got it: i copied the folder default to default1, yours tPRO was renamed to default... the keyboard seemed to be bigger than the other ones, but it functions.... the only problem is the color of the letters on the keyboard cabs: its white on very white grey: you cant see anything... But a small victim is a victim too, is it?

What do you mean by bigger? It's is the same dimensions as the Resco's default one. Or at least the one from 5.11. Can you provide screenshots? Then I'm using the same colors as the default software keyboard found in latest HTC devices. I may try a bit darker background though.

I see.. It seems that it doesn't load settings from skin.ini properly. May be because of the different version. Make sure that this file is in the skin folder. There is a line TextColor=0x000000 that sets the buttons label color to black and HideLabels=1 that hides labels of the special buttons.
You know.. if it doesn't bother you you can zip and send me the default skin that comes with your version of Resco Keyboard and I'll see if I can make tPRO skin compatable with it.

I finally decided to try out the SPB fullscreen keyboard and I pretty much liked the ability to have full screen in portrait and landscape mode plus the sound that gives you the feel of real hardware keyboard, I Know there is alot of fans of HTC style out there and I decided to make a skin for it to replace that ugly keyboard skin they have.
after you unzip the HTCSPB keyboard folder, dont unzip the folders inside, just drag them right in Program Files\Fullscreenkeyboard\skins, unload the spb keyboard and load it again.

you are right, _ is missing, it should be in top of letter P. I will fix it and post.

I have never been able to get SPBFSK to be set as the default keyboard within any application. Have always had to map it to a button and then invoke it.
With this skin SPBFSK becomes a really good looking tool. If anyone has solved the problem of making this the system default input tool then please let me know.

I too would love to try this on my phone but I require VGA. How does one go about changing it from QVGA to VGA? I can try to do it myself if you do not have the time.

Thank you guys for all comments, I use Sipchange, is posted somewhere in this forum, its great little software that allows you to change any third party sip to default.

Instalation
- Install last ThrottleLauncher version (go Here!).
- Install the attached cab.
- Open ThrottleConfig (StartMenu > Programs > ThrottleConfig) and select the theme and reload the plugin
Animated weather
- For animations download Rumball's animation to a folder in your PPC
- Select the path of that folder in the weather tab of the config dialog (click on the config icon on the programs page of the theme)

It does have a great speed improvement . Specially over 0.9.5... You can look at some of the feedbacks . Though I'm sorry the only way you can assert that is by giving it a try, hehehe .

This is VGA right? Tell me this is vga I have yet to see a true vga ThrottleLauncher skin besides the iPhone one. That's what's really stopping me from using it on my touch pro. I like crisp graphics.

Sorry... ... I don't have VGA icons for this. I'm not a designer... Although the icons are simple and not too much detailed so they will hopefully render smooth on VGA...
If anyone can provide VGA icons (100x100) I'll gladly create an VGA theme for this .

Ok. Throttle Launcher is probably the only shell I haven't tried yet, and this does look good. I'm desperate to find the perfect solution, and yet to find one I'm happy with. Currently using Wisbar2, but finding it occassionally painfully slow and slightly prone to lock-ups and wierdnesses.
Anyway... on to my "helpful" point. There is a BEAUTIFUL Wisbar (WAD2) Blackberry Storm theme in WVGA on this forum. All icons in 96x96, which should work nicely for a VGA/WVGA port of this.
Let me know if you need a link (but I assume you can search "WAD2 Blackberry Storm" ;o)

If you have any questions or comments please feel free to ask. I only take credit for porting and making a minor graphic change to the topbar highlights. All credit for the skin should go to Lycox (He is the Master)

Requirements:
Windows Mobile device (tested on the QVGA HTC Titan and WVGA HTC Touch Pro2)

This is why I decided to make a theme. I just got Resco Explorer but I HATE it when there's ANYTHING that resembles WM5 and below on my phone... I have a HTC Touch Pro 2, a 2009 device and there is simply no excuse for this! But looking around I have only seen themes that have modified the .SKN file, not many attempts if any have been made for a full icon set. So I had to do my own.
The reason I do not try many other programs is either because 1) I don't use or own them, 2) There are already great themes to choose from, or 3) The skinning method is not very easy and takes too much time.
EDIT: I have a question for anyone experienced with making themes... On my device when I first apply the theme it looks like it does in the screenshot of my first post. However, after loading the explorer and using it a bit the background of the files no longer alternates between light and dark gray, and it is all dark gray. What could be the reason for this?

After a request from mike2nl I thought i would flex my newly found skinning ability. This one took me longer than I thouhgt as I got really finickety about getting all the little glitches worked out.
You'll still find a few glitches on the phone keypad and half qwerty, but I blame this firmly on TouchPal's lameness when it comes to skinning.
Also I dont use the GTX theme myself so if you have GTX and try this keyboard let me know how it looks
If you don't already have touchpal its a great keyboard for windows mobile. Blows HTC's out of the water and I much prefer it over the other options out there! Check out CooTek's site for the beyboard, its only $10 which is a bargain by anyones standerds.

Here is the file - just drop the resources folder into your TouchPal folder (program files\touchpal) either replace the folder thats already there or rename the old one if you want to go back to your old skin at any point!

Sorry, I dont have a qvga phone.
If its as simple as resizing the images I might have a look at it next week, but I have no testing device. If it is that simple you should have a look at doing it yourself. Just download a QVGA skin, download my skin and resize the images in my skin to the size of the ones on the QVGA skin.

Sorry MM, it's not done by only resizing the images, it's a bit harder. I did that with my EzInput skin with a lot of help by some other members from here. It took me three or four weeks (couldn't remember anymore) so that every looked fine.

I was wondering if it was a bit more complex than that, and without a QVGA device to test on I can't see myself making a QVGA version.
