Yes! I know how to:
Just click on the message you want to forward (personally I press on the title) the background will become blue (to see you've selected the text), then press the button on the bottom right hand side and than the option Forward will become available
Good luck

For me clicking on the message (in the thread) doesnt highlight it. I can click on the contact, then it will bring the contact details up, close that again and then the message is highlighted blue, but this is a long winded way.
Or, the method i use is to use the hardware buttons and press up til you've highlighed the message you want. (that make sense?)

is there a way for me to erase all sms( sent or received) at once instead of trying to do so 1 by 1 ? if there is a option to select all and then delete would be great but i have not found a way to do that...... thanks
i dont have my phone in front of me, but i do believe if you are looking at the all folders screen, the one that shows inbox/outbox/sent/etc. you can go to options and somewhere in there, maybe in tools or something you should be able to delete all messages. sorry i cant be more descriptive, but its there, just look a bit.
One way to do it - use your stylus and drag down, starting with the first msg you want to delete. It will start highlighting all the messages as you drag downwards. Once you have all the messages highlighted, tap and hold and a context sensitive menu will appear, allowing you to delete all of those highlighted messages.
Do a search for InboxExtender, it's a simple cab that adds a "delete all" and "mark all as read" option.
Use the on screen keyboard and ctrl A to select all then hit delete
Scroll selecting them all and hit delete
Menu / tools / clear sms/mms but this takes out even stored messages not just in box and sent
one small question i seem to have managed to turn mine upside down, by default new messages appeared at the top of the list now they seem to appear at the bottom of current messages, anyone know how to reverse it again ?

At the top, you should have Inbox and Received with down arrows next to them. Click on Received and you should get a dropdown menu. If you click the same menu item that is selected, it does a reverse sort.

found this here on the forums. It adds a few extra menus...
When you are in the messages screen, select Menu / Tools / Clear Messages. It will erase all inbox and sent messages.
Hi everyone
Does anyone use the Windows Mobile alarm on their Diamond? I use it and there doesn't seem to be an easy way to dismiss it when it goes off.
With other WM devices when the alarm goes off the bottom left soft key is the dismiss button. With TouchFlo 3D the dismiss button doesn't appear automatically, instead you have to tap the notifications area, tap the alarm symbol and then tap the dismiss button which appears.
Anyone know a way around this?
Only a minor niggle but it is winding me up first thing in the morning
I don't have that issue with my Diamond. Works jusy like any WM device.
Martin
Yeh me too. First time i used it i couldn't turn the bastard off! Not good at 6 in morning!

So are you saying that when your alarm goes off the left soft key becomes the Dismiss button?

Glad it's not just me that this took by surprise - girlfriend was not impressed
You need to go into Sounds and Notifications and tick "Display Message On Screen" under the Reminders tab For some reason it seems to be off by default?
Cheers
Simon
BTW....in case you go to Sounds & Notifications and don't see this checkbox...you have to select Reminders from the drop-down, or Alarm etc. before that checkbox appears.....might be unclear at first but it's there.
Brilliant - thanks for that!
What Reminders tab? There's no Reminder tab in Sounds and Notifications...
There are two tabs - it's not the first one called 'Sound', but the second one whatever it's called in english OS
I have two tabs "Sounds" and "Notifications" and none of them have anything about Reminder settings, nor a "Display Message On Screen" setting. No "Reminder" tab.

"Reminder" is no tab, it's an item in the dropdown list in the Notifications-Tab ... or it's called Notifications ... just go to the second tab, dropdown the list on the top and select the one that sounds like notifications
... hard to give tips with not having an english OS, so sorry for the confusing answer
Okay, found it now. Thanks for explaining. You are GOLD!

For quick mute use VolDown HW button for all kind of notification. Then you can click around in silence...
Yes, except that the alarm will then repeat again and again and again until you finally dismiss... Sorry, I'm not that patient.

Hi,
Brand new (1 week) to the Diamond and HTC in general and have the folowng question that I cannot fnd an answer to and no response from HTC via their support area!
If I reply to an SMS how to I add additional recipients?
Regards and thanks
Skier641
When you have selected REPLY you will see the blank text message with To at the top. Select the To box (which will have the contact you are replying to's details in it) and then select MENU (bottom right of the screen) and then the ADD RECIPIENT is available. You can then select additional contacts from the list.
Other way (which I find quicker)
Select the To field in the sms / mms your creating and then type the persons name, the contact should appear above the keyboard and you can then select them.
That should do it.

Looks like the easiest way is from the TF3D screen, don't tap the body of the text (which will bring up the conversation), but press menu (bottom right) then reply. This brings up the old style single message screen, and you can then click in the "to" box and add extra recipients to your heart's content.
Your next question will probably be (when you get there), how do you forward an SMS? For this, you need to bring up the full conversation, then use the hard up/down buttons to select the single message you want to forward, and then use the menu to forward. The option to forward is not enabled till you select an entire sms via the up/down keys.
In case you hadn't worked it out, when reading SMS conversations, you can change the font size using the touchy-feely wheel (around the outside of the circular button at the bottom)
Hope you enjoy the device - I really reocmmend an hour or two trawling the forums, particularly the "Diamond Tweaks List", to maximise your enjoyment.
tomchap/raveydavey,
Many thanks for the replies. I can see it's going to take a while to find all the subtleties of this thing. Overall though I'm very impressed - how did they fit all this capability into such a small form factor?!
Raveydavey - thrust me I've spent far too long looking through the forums and have implemented some of the tweaks e.g. 3DTFlo cache, wake on SMS etc.

i have tried its not possible.
it works...maybe u aren't trying it the right way...
1. in touchflo 3d, tap on the message u want to forward
2. the messaging application opens up (threaded conversation) and ur in the window where u can type a reply
3. since u want to forward the message instead, press the up arrow to select the earlier message (i.e the one u want to forward).
4. when a message is selected, it'll be highlighted in a faint blue color
5. press the right softkey (the menu on the bottom right part of the screen)
6. in the menu that appears, FORWARD is one of the options!
i hope this noob guide does the job for u
btw, the UP arrow is the hardware UP key, in case u were looking for it on the screen
i've just got a diamond 2, i know this can be done, cos i did it b4 !
but i can't make this happen reliably ...
can someone pls enlighten me ?
thx !
Menu -> Remove
I think you've misunderstood - I'm looking for the one that will display all messages in the thread, with little checkboxes on the side for me to select which message to delete.
Incidentally, there's no Menu -> Remove on my diamond 2.
there is in the touch flow view of the message, thats the only way you can remove a single message as far as i know.
Ahh, I see what you mean.
I had to select the message from the Touch Flow view. The whole conversation with that contact is shown, then I could do it by selecting Menu - Delete. Otherwise, by selecting the contact, then clicking on the Conversations tab will also bring me to the same place.
Thanks !
