HELP on Diamond

hi guys..i have been having this problem which i did a search but could not find an ans..once in awhile,my phone will auto connect to the internet without me doing anything or activating..the connection is via gprs if i am correct as my wifi is not turn on...any one facing the same prob or is there anything i can do to stop it??

i have been looking for a while for a solution for the problem of the windows live msenger and i didn't find any solution for it in any thread but after all of that serching i think that i found somthing or i could be described as the main issu of the problem , i found that when i try to sign in using gprs i have the same eror like every body else had which is that is a conection problem and that msn can not sync but when am connected with wifi it syncs normly and sing in normaly so i think that the problem is that when connected with gprs raphael dose not obtain an ip so maybe this the problem so if any body can confirm this or help me understanding the problem beter pls heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp

i also became crazy with this messenger problem : connecting fine over wifi, and never connecting on gprs...
in the end, i came using another app for msn : palringo, it connects well on msn (and many more but i dont use them, only msn.. the skype app is running well on gprs for me..) with gprs..
i know i would prefer use the genuine windows live app too, but it never worked !
so if you have some news i'm also interested

disable proxy

hello
if you mean the proxy in the network settings in the parameters, i can't disable it for it will prevent me to connect on gprs...
if it is not that, can you please tell me where i can disable this proxy setting for windows live ?

as the tittle , i fond it couldn't connect 3g net ,and with 2g net ,the system s own Browser can't connect the 2g net ,and also the oprea mini 5. but ucweb could connect，also the QQ

How can you connet the GPRS?

And in my case, i cannot connect anything via GPRS..

Please help with VPN

Hello all. I have a samsung galaxy s gt-I900M phone and I am trying to make my paid VPN work on it. It's called VyprVPN and does work well on my pc and laptop but not on this phone. IT is a PPTP connection , and it will connect on the phone but as soon as I try to use the internet it just does nothing , I have been searching and reading all I can on this issue.
Does anyone know what I can do to make this vpn connection work ? If it matters i am on the bell network and have tried with 3G and with wifi and get the same thing. Thanks for any replies !!

That's not what u were asking. U were asking about making some obscure vpn work that no one has heard about. What do u expect. My pptp vpns with dd-wrt work fine.

obscure vpn ? Its just a regiular pptp vpn that works great on my laptop and desktop pc but refuses to work on the galaxy s. Like i said it connects but won't let me surf anything , for the first 2 seconds it starts to work and stops and won;t do anything again but stays connected. Its an issue with the android system not the vpn subscription , which is a popular one .
Did you do anything fancy to make yours work ?

nope nothing special.. try turning off encryption..

android needs special settings, and its encryption has some bug.
we are going to setup a new server only for android phone
but it won't be very fast, not proper for watching video
and another thing, if you need to use PPTPVPN on android, your message is not encrypted.
The vpn's i have subscribed to all require encryption so when i turn it off , they wont even connect. Any suggestions for a vpn that will work without it?

all over wherever I search about vpn and galaxy s noone has any answers. its a dead end street , why cant we get someone working on this ? i would pay out of pocket to have the vpn working on my galaxy s

I have problems with apps that need internet connection(facebook,twitter etc.)
Internet 3g/WI-FI working at internet explorer/opera, but when i turn on application like facebook, i have error about my internet connection..
Any application that need internet not work :c Normal internet is working, yea, but not apps .
What to do with this ?

Simply reflash the rom i had the same probklem
