Ciao, non ho capito benissimo l'oggetto del thread , spero sia la soluzione al mio problema. Da windows2003se con tutti i programmini extrom unlocker ecc.. non riesco a sbloccare la mia extenderom. Vi riferite a questo? C'è una soluzione?

yes (sorry if I continue in english but last year we had a discussion about the language used in the forum) ...it's the solution for your probs because if you install the english version of the unlocker it will install in a directory that in the italian version of the ppc does not exist ...this file has been modified to install painless

Ok thanks, i've try yesterady and everything work.
I've patchetd my BA with wm5 but i came back immediately to my old wm2003se with a new radio stack. My first impression about wm5 is that it's quite slow and in particular i'm not able at momet to use my dual sim adaptor.
I always use 2 sim cards and it' s very important to have theese in my BA.
I'm looking for a solution dou you something about that problem(dual sim)

just received this morning an email from Dangaard italy mailing list, saying italian p3600 owners will get an official upgrade with GPS enabled rom!

infatti, ho letto ma il problema è che l'accesso è consentito solo per i terminali acquistati presso di loro, non a tutti..Ragion per cui,chi hja la possibilità di accedervi potrà darci notizie in merito..do u understand?

I do understand very well. "Prossimamente" means "in the near future". That doesn't mean hours, but days or maybe weeks.
If you have a TIM branded device you can register to the dangaard italy website. Did you tried? I suppose not. SO now go home and do you homeworks....

Why u don't try to make yours of homeworks instead of type stupid posts? Did u try to register on the site?? Are u sure that the rom is not available jet??

If you buy a Trinity with brand TIM you can register it on dangard!!! I try and the registation was successfull.

Instead of spending time asking silly questions I spent my time trying to gather info to help people like you. SO, I'm registered to the dangaard site. And the ROM is still NOT available yet. Hope this answer your (and other people) question.
When the ROM will be available you will know for sure as there will be someone posting the news here.

HTC DIAMOND BRAND TIM e nuova rom, come ?

ciao a tutti,
ho appena comprato il nuovissimo htc diamond marchiato tim (ora mi viene da dire purtroppo).
ho scoperto che non posso registrare il telefono al sito HTC. e scaricando altrove la ROM nuova 1.37.408.3 non me la installa perchè fa il controllo del codice.
come posso aggiornarlo alla nuova rom ? ne esiste una che non fa il check ovviamente italiana ?

[REQ] 1.56 Rom upgrade with TIM Ita

Anyone managed to upgrade to 1.56 a branded TIM Ita phone ?
I searched in the forum and posted in some sections but up to now I cannot get any positive answer.
The issue is this :
Let's say that I follow all the "steps" in order to upgrade to a 1.56 rom.
I had Dutty 2.6 with Oilnex HSPL, downgraded to ITA Stock Rom + Radio, then downgraded to 1.14 stock SPL.
After that downloaded new 1.56 Stock Rom from HTC website (using serial for ITA provided in post).
Is this rom downloaded from HTC site supposed to be flashed withou USPL ?
I suppose not due to the fact that I have a valid stock SPL...
What happens is that when I run the exe file of the 1.56 Rom the upgrade is stopping to 1% and giving back an error that I cannot use it on my phone.
I am currently using a HTC touch HD branded TIM Italy and Vista Business 32.

The HTC support site won't let me download the update for the Touch HD ROM (EU). The language of my phone is Italian, and Italian is included in the list of the available languages. I get a message which says that the update isn't suitable for my device. What should I do?

grazie per la tempestiva risposta. Confermo che il mio dispositivo è brandizzato TIM, ma non credevo che questo fosse un problema, in quanto ho visto installare un aggiornamento ufficiale su un Touch Cruise brandizzato Vodafone senza nessun problema (rimuovendo tra l'altro la brandizzazione).
Nella pagina di download è tra l'altro presente la seguente nota:
"* This is a generic software update. Any additional software or settings provided by your mobile operator or company will be lost. If you require this customization, please contact your supplier first before upgrading."
Mi domando come mai l'HTC, pur dichiarando di fatto in questa nota che è possibile sbrandizzare il dispositivo installando un aggiornamento generico, non fornisca l'aggiornamento a tutti i possessori di Touch HD con software in italiano, politica diversa da quella seguita per altri modelli, o magari per altre nazioni e altri operatori.
Se è vero che l'obiettivo dell'HTC come azienda è la soddisfazione del cliente, obiettivo che su molti fronti viene raggiunto, consiglierei di rivedere queste politiche, e sono convinto di esprimere il parere di tutti gli altri utenti che sono incorsi nello stesso problema.
In ogni caso ringrazio molto per l'attenzione e per la disponibilità.

I wonder why HTC, although actually declaring in this warning that it is possible to remove brandization on the device by installing a generic update, still does not distribute the update to all Italian Touch HD owners with Italian software, policy which differs from the one which is followed for other models or maybe other countries and carriers.
If it is true that HTC's goal is customer satisfaction, goal that in many fields is achieved, I would suggest to review these policies, and I'm convicted that I am expressing the thought of all other users that have encountered this issue

since you are already running an original stock rom + original spl ( tim original spl was 1.13 if i well remember but not really important ) , simply connect your htc to the PC and execute USPL 2.5 on PC side. When you will see uspl running on your htc too then start the ruu 1.56 official rom upgrade on pc . It worked for me ( my is tim branded too but now is 1.56 official ita ). Enjoy

I will try this, only issue is that I'm running Vista, so I'll set up a XP virtual machine to do the job, I do not want to mess up my Vista drivers...

No VMachine avaiable, I modified USB drivers in current Vista.
Now USPL 2.5 is working fine, during launch break or this evening I will proceed with flashing and let you know.

Dutty 2.8 Up and running !!
By using USPL 2.5 I have been able to flash the 1.56 Stock rom, therefore I have been able to Flash a cooked 1.56 ROM with no issues.
I'm very happy !
To anyone who cares I installed 2 cabs for a better visual effect, one is called "Brians updated HTC Task_Bar.cab" and the other is called "ammarTF3D tabs v3 [IconsOnly].cab".
Both of them are working fine.

Nello start menu...se selezioni quello di WM6.5 tramite "Tom Extended Menu"...c'è un'icona "Ruota schermo"...se ci clicchi sopra lo schermo ruota (compreso il manila)..

in the start menu...if you set the WM 6.5 one by "Tom Extended Menu"...you'll find an icon "Ruota schermo"...if you click on it the screen will rotate (and manila as well)...

Hi,
I tested and tried your Rom and I satisfied because is very stable and fast.
Since I like personalize the Rom, Some problem born when I tried to install external application as:
- Italian weather database by Tigro, not update the local cities
- I like the Flip and analog clock on Home screen, after to installation the row "Registro Chiamate" became " 0 Missed called" but this problem was present with others Rom also.
Overall Rating is very good.
If I find other I inform you.

Has promised I've test you rom and now ''ll try to report my issues:
- Manila 2.1 doesn't seem run so smoothly but i suppose that is a common problem in wm 6.5 roms
- Sometimes the system freeze for 3 to 5 seconds and it seems not ram related problem
- Many parts are not in italian (see weather tabs and others)
- I have appreciated your effort in order to visualize settings tabs with the same behaviour of wm 6.1 but graphically the pages doesn't feet the whole screen..
- Many double links showing "all programs".. please optimize!!
- I should prefer having Manila standard theme in order to personalize eventually or not
- Same thing about taskbar icons.. also if your choiced pack is one of the best
- Sometime Manila crash and restart
- Showing "all programs" and trying to lunch email wizard gives digital firm error
- Same thing launching CommManager from All Programs
- Same thing launching one of the two Live Search links ..and so on
- Try to not include other programs that are not HTC default related in order to get quickless and lightness. I belive that anyone should be free to install or not all the other progs separately.
In my opinion it is a good rom taking it as start point ..but it has to be improved and optimized to be used everyday..
Sorry if here i have been to much critic.. but I dont belive that saing only "wow.. stable.. beutifull" and so on ..take improvements to the top!
I hope you'll continue to collaborate with Luca P. that unfortunally has decided to not implement him really appreciated italian rom.. He is a really great cooker!
Hoping see you in the next releases.. naturally improved!!

Come ti avevo promesso ho provato la tua rom e ti riporto quanto segue:
- Manila 2.1 è abbastanza lento e non privo di impuntamenti, ma non credo sia una un problema solo della tua rom avendo notato lo stesso comportamento anche in altre rom ben più blasonate (leggi Dutty ecc ecc) basate su WM 6.5
- Spesso e volentieri il sistema si blocca per 3-5 secondi a prescindere da ciò che si sta facendo sul blackstone. Il problema non sembra essere relativo all'uso di tanta ram o meno.
- Molti componenti del sistema non sono completamente in italiano (vedi il tab Meteo del Manila e altro che ora non ricordo)
- Ho apprezzato molto il tentativo da te fatto di visualizzare i tab delle impostazioni con la stessa grafica usata nelle versione WM 6.1 ma graficamente ci sono degli errori (le pagine delle impostazioni non occupano tutto lo spazio dello schermo a disposizione e si intravedono le pagine sottostanti)
- Ci sono davvero troppi doppioni nei collegamenti (visualizzabili cliccando su "Tutti i programmi") ..na ottimizzatina non ci starebbe male!
- A mio avviso sarebbe meglio avere il Manila con il tema standard in modo da poterlo eventualmente personalizzare o meno con i vari tool a esposizzzione qui su XDA e altrove..
- Stessa cosa per le icone della Taskbar (anche se condivido il tema da te prescelto epr quest'ultime)
- Molte volte il Manila va in crash e si riavvia
- Se clicchi su "Tutti i programmi" e cerchi di lanciare email wizard viene restituito un errore di firma digitale e il programma non si avvia
- Stessa storia se lanci CommManager da Tutti i Programmi
- Stessa storia se lanci uno dei due link (doppioni) di Live Search ..e altri così via
- A mio avviso cerca di non includere altri programmi che non siano HTC indispensabili in modo da ottenere una rom il più veloce e leggera possibile. Credo che chiunque voglia possa sempre installarli successivamente a sua scelta.
Insomma seconda la mia modesta opinione questa è una buona roma se lo consideriamo come un punto di partenza per prossimi sviluppi e miglioramenti ma ancora non può consoderarsi una rom da installare in maniera stabile e da potersi usare nel quotidiano
Scusa se ti sono sembrato troppo critico ma penso che dicendo solamente "wow.. bella.. figa.. stabile" ecc ecc non porti a nessun miglioramento..
Spero che continuerai a collaborare con Luca Picci per lo sviluppo delle successive, visto che Luca ha deciso do non implementare ulteriormente le sue rom italiane.. peraltro ottime e ben conosciute da tutti noi smanettoni. Luca è davvero un grande cuoco!!
Spero di vederti presto con nuove versioni di questa rom.. naturalmente migliorate (a prescindere dal Manila 2.5 o meno).
