I've been working on a Throttle Lock Theme/Skin which is nothing more than a wallpaper and a bunch of icons. Well it's more than that, but making the icons for the different notifications is the bulk of it. Most of the themes I've found for this app are QVGA so I decided to make my own.
I found various QVGA resources I liked and just worked from them. I'm not extremely artistic on my own so I normally find something I like and modify it or combine it with something else.

The Notification graphics were based on "GODZSON's Notifications".
The Battery and Signal graphics were inspired by a skin from Sinoo. I included the QVGA graphics I based mine on in the package other than changing the green for the battery indicator to blue to match the TF3D theme I made.
Most of thr graphics are 40x40 but should resize nicely for smaller sizes. I've included the Gimp xcf in the zip which has each graphic on a separate layer. If you don't have The Gimp, you can just chop up the png file as the transparency is intact. Feel free to use for Throttle Lock or anything else if it suits.
I'm not finished with the Throttle Lock theme yet but am posting what I have so far so the graphics can be seen for size.
Cheers,
Eidolen

This is my first attempt to get into the theme game so it is pretty basic right now, however that is what this theme is really about. It only theme's your icons right now with icons made by myself as well as pat974 from MacThemes.net. The icons are based off the Suave style by Thyraz also a member from MacThemes and is built to resemble the iPhone icons however I feel they appeal to more than just iPhone users so I have brought my spin to the Droid world. The main points this theme has to offer include a clean, simple and uniform take on the stock icons. they are a tad smaller which might shy some away however I encourage all to try this out so I am offering it out for all HDPI devices via Metamorph. I run this on Sapphire 1.0 and it works perfectly. So give it a try and let me know what you think, I will constantly be trying to improve upon this and welcome all your suggestions and comments.
I also plan to offer up a compilation of non-stock icons, as well as take requests for some, to help supplement this theme. I personally use an application called Folder Organizer to theme my third party icons on my homescreen to keep everything uniform and the supplemental icons look great with Launcher Pro so stay tuned for more!

Thank you for the patient and support for my first ever icon set, it is now complete. I'm not an icon maker wizard or anything like that, I tried very hard to make a great looking set for users to enjoy. This is a basic set I put together, so if you notice any size or color errors please let me know and ill fix it as soon as I can. Also I will be adding more icons to this set in the coming days.
Although these icons are intended for Android OS devices, they are FREE to use for any mobile device, all I ask is you please link it to my deviantART page for support.
The set contains 43 (62x62) .PNG icons in this set. Some icons have alternates.
EDIT: here is the bookshelf
I am also working on an HD set as we speak. The size is 120x120, I will release a preview of this set soon.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask. You can get the icons here.
Lovely, nice job ^^
^ Thanks!
Wow, over 500 views and 1 reply?
Those are AWESOME!
Thank you for your work
These are really nice. I can't wait for the HDPI versions.
Thanks for checking it out, really appreciate it.
Very nice, I've been looking for something like this. Great work.
Like 'em, but these days I prefer icons to be a big bigger. Not that I'm using an HDPI-device, but with Desktop Visualizer I usually like the look of a "high-res" icon.
Are you planning to make them also in a bigger size possibly?
Sweet Icons man!
nice set of icons.
waiting for the hd ones.
keep up the good work.
I kinda like the smaller look, good job!

WOOD DECK ICONS
-Icons by DroidDeck
The WOOD DECK icons are extremely high quality, and just about go with any wallpaper I've personally tested. They come with a clock that actually turns on the homepage just like a normal clock, and fit in beautifully with these icons.

Let me know what you think of these. Give them a go, they look so much better on your phone in 2x2 format. I personally love them. As usual, taking any requests to build more if they're popular with the good people of XDA.

Apologies to all who have downloaded the set and it didn't actually have the clock it in.
If you redownload, the .apk is now there
Very very nice, will give this a try on my Galaxy S with LauncherPro. Do you have a Photoshop file of the original wood icon for users to make their own, TIA?
care to share the app launcher icon as well?
These work nice with Launcher 7 but it seems odd not to have an SMS icon. Any plans to extend the collection?
Sent from my DHD
Thank you very much for these, the clock.apk excellent, the icons are also excellent but as already mentioned there aren't enough of them, still thank you for sharing
I made these icons sets for myself and a friend. Its my first attempt at icons, so nothing special. It started with make a nicer looking icon for google+ (and its the only one I personally really like) and I decided to do a few stock icons with a background. Icons are a little big, 400x400, but look nice on a screen. Enjoy.

I tested a few - These are great for my theme, and the perfect size when slightly optimized with desktop visualizer.
Possible for you to make a few more that I will need?
If you agree I'll let you know what icons are needed in the RoundBlack style, same size as those here
I WILL show my appreciation

I'll be happy to give it a shot. Just let me know what you want and give me a little bit of time. I'm in school and work, so it might take me a bit to get them done, depending on my free time. I still have the backgrounds saved as .psd, so all I'd have to do is edit the icon you need and apply it.

I love me some minimal wallpapers, so i figured I'd make some for personal use. I like them so much I decided to release them. Obviously these look best on HDPI (480x800) screens, and I haven't tested them out on any other screen sizes. Here is a sample of one in full resolution as the banner I made to show them off doesn't do it justice.
Link to download is below.
Thanks a lot these are really nice.
Keep up the great work.
I gotta a quick question.
I got a lot of gradient papers but i have a problem with the banding. do you know a quick and easy way to dither them?

sadly i don't know what to tell you about that. In my experience, whenever I run into that issue I just look for another wallpaper. I'm thinking it has something to do with shrinking the image to fit the screens resolution. I bet you could mess around with the images in PS or GIMP and get them to come out looking better.
Gradient banding is actually caused from the screen not being able to handle all the colors so it makes one color close to each of the unidentified colors. Making a potentially awesome wall look like compete ****.
There is ways to correct it by adding noise, blurring and color overlays. But it takes me forever and sometimes i can't even get it right and it pisses me off to no end.
Anyhow thanks anyway
