Has anyone found one? Could be nice to keyboad to match with everything else
Just a side note: Shape Writer is also available for WinMo and is incorporated in every app, rather than just one (as in the iPhone). Just go on Shape Writer's website.

i use Shape Writer for everything, its brilliant. Have a look in the Themes and Applications section, there is a thread called "SWYPE!!!" which discusses it on page 6, and has a download link.
I always use the standard WinMo keyboard. I check the big buttons options with the use of gestures in the settings , which make your buttons smaller again but you get an extra row of numbers on your keyboard. I often use these gestures and it's really handy.
I wish there was a way to make the buttons a bit bigger again so i could use my fingers to type, I wouldn't mind reserving half the screen for a good keyboard.
So is there a keyboard out there with the use of gestures but without for instance the enter/backspace/shift buttons and without the spacebar
But a del button would be nice though, theres no gesture for that...
Actually forget the keyboard, is there a way to add more gestures in the WinMo keyboard??? That would be awsome!
hey I was thinking about the same exact thing. There are a lot of keyboards out there but i dont think much people realise how "potentially" awesome the Winmo Keyboard actualy is. If only the keys can be enlarged a little bit. or if a pop up ability could be added this should make one of the best keyboards out there am sure.

Do you know if there is a tweak to automatically launch a program (new SMS for instance) when i open the keyboard of the Kaiser ?
I'll be very happy to save time with this tweak...
up someone ?
Dont think so, a few days ago I made a post asking what is the quickest way to start an SMS and that was never mentioned, so I dont think it exist, it would be a great app it it did.
Good idea.
HTC has the HTC Action screen, which does the same thing when you slide open the HTC Touch Dual.

Making this work with the sliding keyboard on the Kaiser would be nice.

Agree this would be a nice tweak. Anyway to autorun any prog when the keyboard is opened...
This is exactly what i thought... Unfortuneltly i don't have the knowledge to create this tweak... I'm happy to see i'm not the only one interested...
Umm that would be a HUGE burden when you open to keyboard to input a web address on pocketie or any other browser wouldnt it....

Indeed. If this theoretical app existed, it should check if the Today screen is active before taking action.

AFAIK the HTC Action app opens up briefly when they keyboard comes up, and then disappears, so it should not interfere too much.

You should be able to do this with MortScript.
Has anybody created or found a dialer with big buttons? The buttons I have currently are about 1.5cm x 1cm. My fingers, which arent even that large, always press buttons other than the intended ones. This is mostly a problem with I'm driving. On top of that, I dont use the smartdialer, so it is just a waste of space. If someone could get ride of the smartdialer, and enlarge the bottons about 3 times, the dialer would be perfect!

Search for what you typed as the subject for this thread and you should be good to go!
yeah, ive seen all of those, but i want even biggger buttons. something to get rid of the smart dial completely. or even cooler would be buttons that take up the whole screen with the dialed numbers in the background. that would be great.
look at this:

if this is not big enoph for you i recomend somthing like this picture

What? Do you want to pan around the screen for the buttons?

There's no such dialer in this place. They cook Rom's and stuff but big buttons seem too difficult.
Hi, I love the diamond, but its kind of a fuss with the contacts. You have to add them one by one to your favourites, if you want to see them in Touch flo. Im too lazy to do that, so Im looking for a good contact managing program. I tried icontact, but its only for qvga. I would like to have that "iphone" like feeling in it. Tried some, but didnt find the right one - so looking for any tips.
Also, is there an option to change the "phone" application? Its slow, and I dont like it.
Thanks a lot! Its a great community!
Icontact supports VGA, I'm using it, and right now I'm creating a Diamond VGA skin right now.
I disabled contacts page on manila, and assigned left softkey on clock page to contacts.

Are you serious? maybe you think windows nobile looks great...
Anything new on the Diamond skin for iContact? Sounds like the perfect solution!
There is a iContacts port for VGA.
And it looks amazing plus assigning it to a soft key is even coooler.
Luck fellasss.

This driver installs as a selectable virtual keyboard and it's useful to avoid keyboard popup when you don't want to input data (file display, gaming etc.) or when you are using an external keyboard.
Note: I have some color issues after I used this 'keyboard', therefore I'm switching back to my preferred (FingerKeyboard2) keyboard and then Reset the phone to solve this.
Hope this helps you,

I have seen in several apps the Samsung keyboard is shrunk by almost half, not touching the sides of the screen, and it's like a miniature version of the keyboard. Does anyone else have this issue? Is it just an app developer thing that is conflicting with the new screen size?
One app I know is doing it Hearthstone

Turn off one handed mode. I use Gboard for its larger, more customizable keyboard.

That's not the fix.
This is the gaming mode keyboard. You need to go to Game Tools and turn the gaming keyboard off.
I searched settings for all things game, none have the keyboard option. I looked into the game launcher settings, and it wasn't there either.
It was a setting in game tools. It's called floating keyboard, and it was auto set to on. I had to open a game, go to the game tools icon on the nav bar, then go to "additional feature". The option was in there.
BTW: thanks for the help guys.
