orange uk

my phone as broke so i need to return to orange found the rom but struggling with a radio all keep coming up with network lock please entre code can anyone tell me what radio the phone would have been shipped out with and if orange can tell i've been messing around with the radios and roms

This isnt entirely answering your question, but with my old Hermes on orange, i had it replaced about 3 times in total, all with a custom rom and HardSPL they asked no questions and havnt charged me anything!!
i reckon you can get away with it as they don't seem to check, i am getting my kaiser replaced by orange soon, as it has SO many hardware defects which is really poor and so a nice shiney new one will be much better!

cheers guys tryed some radios but not the 1.27.14.32 i'll see if i can find it had to put duttys rom back on for now but my phone wont read any sd cards spoke to orange tech support who will let me know if i can return the phone thats why i was trying to put it back to orignal cheers for your help

Well My problem is i cant seem to get the FM Radio to get to work....
i plug in the Headphones and start the radio..it starts...and when i click scan & Save..it save some irrevalent stations that dont even broadcast in my area.????and if i manually scan to a particular station i just hear the chusssssss Sound!!!!!

have u tried flashing an official indian rom to see if that makes a diffrence? maybe its some issue with using a wwe rom in india, some issue with frequencies or sumat

Official Indian Rom..???How do i get it..???i searched the whole xda sites...all they offer are WWE,gre,ita& other roms..how to tell which rom is indian..???

i dont know wot radio your using but v1.09.25.23 seems to be the most popular! you can download it from here

Okay sorry for the Delay Mancsoulja....itseems i have a newer version of Radio than the one you suggested.. well i am downloading the rom right now.....will update in an hour or so... ....its taking time cuz i have a crappy 30kbps transfer rate....so it takes roughly 45 mins to download a 100MB file..and Oh...do you happen to know how many posts one has to make to become a seniour member..

well i reflashed Everything back..and the phne is booting again....Thank to AZTOR...and i guess i was close to bricking my phone.....and Mancsoulja...could you plz stay void of sending me and my phone on Suicide missions...well..anyway that proved that India rom aint so great either...so anything else to try..???

well some more info for you guys for a clear picture....okay now.. i reflashed the phone ,this time with duttys roms...seems to be good..and newer than aztor....but still the FM radio is not working......i entered the bootloader and saw this info and thought to post....

LOL....sorry for being such a noob jerk.....i was using the touch 3g headsets all the time....those dont have the radio antenna receiver....sorry....now i just have to find the headsets with FM enabled ones......it took me some time...to actually realise that the headsets were of touch 3g and it doesnt have radio so the headsets are also not FM enabled....

Can a cooked ROM change the Device Inforamtion?

I used the cooked EnergyROM (20090613- Titanium) and it works great.
I bought the Raphael in India and was in the impression that the Chipset with QCOM 7206A (Non-3G). I never checked.
I went to Start-->Setting-->System-->Device Info-->Hardware and now after the ROM update I see the chipset to be 7201A (with 3G).
The question I have is: Did I get lucky and somehow got a 3G version or did the ROM change the device info.

what is the stock spl for the australian htc hd (telstra) version

hi all i stuffed my hd up and its freezing and touch screen is out of whack so i need to return my phone for warranty.
but dont remember what my stock spl was since i upgrade to the onix one..
can someone with the australia telstra hd confirm which one it is..
i need the 100% correct one..
i did abit of reading some say 1.15 and some say 1.14 which one is it ???

I'm in Brisbane and bought my T8282 off ebay, it seemed to have a UK ROM on it, fully unlocked....though when I went in to Telstra to enquire about signing up for the "Next G" network, they said that it might not work on there HSDPA network.....??, I realise that this is not your question though any other Telstra users could let me know..?

T8282 has different WCDMA bands to the T8285. The latter is the one used in Australia for the NextG network. T8282 has the bands that other carriers use as well as everywhere else in the world that matters

a colleague of mine bought his (T8282) HD in the UK and discovered (like you) that he could not use it on Telstra's NextG service. as another poster indicated, the T8282 does not have the proper 3G radio for use on the NextG service. he ended up having to buy a T8285/Telsta HD.

i just needed to know the spl boot...
you know how you have the phone off and then you hold volume button down and press on button once and that gets you to that bios menu to load a new hacked rom.. i had changed the boot loader so now i need to replace it back to the original one stock one..

[Q] Question about the RADIO of T5360

My cell phone is Touch Diamond 2 (T5360).It is a special version for India.It cannot support 3G network.I have unlocked the Hard SPL 1.83.I have also flashed non-offical ROMs.But, in many forums,it reports that the special version of Diamond 2 cannot flash the RADIO.Its RADIO is so different with the T5353.Also I cannot find RADIOs for T5360.Anyone who can give me some details?RADIOs?
