I buildt this just to see for myself, and I actually like this manila better then blackstone one. (no big changes) sooo, I just decided to share the fun
no need to post bugreports or issues, cause I will not care and totally ignore them.
No need to ask whats in the rom, cause if you can read and think you would have noticed that I just wrote its the same base as 3.01

What about just releasing the the manila.cab port from it? Wouldnt it be easier to install that rather than flashing it since its the same as your 3.01 rom?

theres also an oem package appeared on dev&hacking, and more importantly a as ov yet unworking version of pie8 !

ive just used the oem version i linked to (changed rgu to reg installed them, and copied files) works fine here, much different to 4 so this is 6
quick install of flashlite and yotoob is working inside pie6
i might see if ican get pie8 working..

I'm going back to 3.01 from this rom, found one and only bug today.
Gps is hard locking when going into standby.
Can't work out a fix for it, and it was a sod as I was cycling 75 miles back home on a route I didn't know...

Not tested it though, but looking at it it does the same as copying the files and importing the reg.
This works fine on this rom and ITJEs 3.01 rom. I guess it uses the newer pie builds as it doesn't have an exe in there..

Look for builds 23022, 23024 or 23025. Saw some ROMs with 23022 and 23024 for Xperia floating around.

Is there a possibility that this rom will be ported or copied to xperia x1? I was wondering if that was possible because i would like a dutch copy of this on my xperia in the near future. Landscape view with manila 2.1 (latest build!!) and wm 6.5 running on the background, would be perfect!!

Has anyone converted this into a cab? I have just tried a free online file converter and it says 7z can't be converted to cab....
Lol in the 7z is the image that you have to flash into your phone. It's not a cab file which you can install

First I have to say that I'm so happy to see yet some people are seeking for WM6.1, then I'd like to recommend you "kwbr topix wm6.1 Ver. 3.5" if you are looking for a stable and fast ROM. Although there are some minor bugs in that ROM, it's really fast and stable.

Thanks for the input. I'm already using the rom you mentioned right now. In my opinion its alright. There are a few problems such as noData not working and (it appears) certain settings that are missing. And there are also other little things I don't like about it such as inconsistent start menu icons in the programs folder.
I would use wm6.5 but the problem with it is that with spb mobile shell the quick menu disappears. In wm6.1 this doesn't happen. I have previously been using Dutty's rom 4.3 and flashed it because I believed that my gps problems were related to the rom (turns out that's not the case).
Anyways, If anyone has an archive of roms and happens to have the rom I'm looking for it I would really appreciate it if you could upload.

Looks like the file has gone corrupt.
Downloaded it twice on different PC's and it keeps coming up with the error.
Anyone got any other links to suggest for this ROM's download location ?

This is the latest ROM, created in Dec and released in January 2010. However there are links in the ROM development forum to this ROM.

i flashed this rom, got it directly from T-mobile site app out of date etc etc so much stuff have to be updated it not even funny.
if this is the official tmous sense 2.1 rom released this past january then this rom is terrible. I flashed it a couple days after its release and wished I hadn't very quickly. the stock 6.1 was way better. I ended up finding this site because of it. I don't remember much more then this rom was slow. im using jackos roms now theyre great and with cookie 2.0..... wow

ull need to find the temporary path of the setup,(start task manager>select task (e.g. setup.exe) with right click and select go to process>right click on the process and select open file location. (only for 7, vista in xp ypu have to search manulally)
copy the NBH file that contains the rom and use custom RRU to flash it.

I never tried the 6.1, but I don't doubt that it was faster. You might try the NRG ROM; I like it.

Yes, but why would you want to? I suggest a custom ROM. In any case, you will have to map your keyboard to ATT. Do a search for the cab.

Memory leaks, slow performance, ...

You might give it another try. I have no memory leaks, and the performance is fine, although I do overclock to 710 to make the transitions smoother. The latest versions have the capability to remove the start menu (with a couple of replacement options - I use the Sense replacement), and my free memory is around 90 after a boot and everything settles down.
As to why I run it? It looks nice, runs very fast (especially the latest ROMs), and is very stable with CHT 1.8.
yeah that is the 6.5 upgrade from the 6.1 it was running... we are still waiting for an upgrade... I did double check the 1.91.531.4 was the same I had on my hard drive... for back up... anyway any new ROM would be at least a 2.08.???.? or higher. How many of us should of realized that??
