Check out Barebone.
I tried it - it's not for me. It is noticeably snappier than, say, pzucchel or Dutty's, but too oldschool. I don't have the time required to get a nice Today screen, a proper SIP, and some of the HTC gadgets to work properly.

turn off the device
turn off the device ...Press the red button next to the device or under the cover there is a button and press the volume keys on the top.... to include to setup formating to original rom setting

This bad boy works well in any kitchen!
i hear it support multi touch
wow...that device is packed with cool 3rd party applications!!!
CABs are in the bottom right shelf and it even has an external LCD.
Missing a keyboard though! Unless there's one in the bottom... (That sounds so wrong)
With the Power source at the back (Very BAD) .

Should be able to click it with no problem with your thumb.... or finger..... I used to do it on my elfin and I have big thumbs. Never once have I pulled the stylus out.
anywho you should get a list that pops up with the availale baords. That one would be.... "Phone Keypad"..... I think that some ROM versions do not have it though. So you may or may not.

Dis-Assembling of Alpine

Hi,
My Alpine facing problem with "Power" button recently.
When it hung, I pushed stylus in RESET hole & I didnt knew that POWER button was STRUCKED
So, I have hard-resetted my Alpine instead of soft reset
And lost my DATA.
Then I decided to dis-assemble my alpine to fix the strucked power button.
I've gone through http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=AlpineResearch page & didn't found clear steps to dis-assemble my Alpine.
Then I've no choice to take a risk & dis-assemble my Alpine.
Yes, I did it successfully & Fixed power button too.
Here I wanted to share those dis-assembling pics with you people.

i9000 Won't Turn on After Re-assembly! PLEASE HELP :(

I followed the dis-assembly tut on xda and on Youtube and managed to put everything back together in (more or less) one piece, but now my Galaxy S won't turn on. What'd I do wrong? One thing that I've noticed is that I might have ever so slightly torn the black ribbon cable; the one that connects the capacative buttons to the rest of the phone. But other than that, I'm pretty sure I did everything right. What should I do now? I went through hours upon hours of trouble and followed the tut step by step but I still managed to mess up. What's the best course of action at this point?
Thanks in advance.
Here's a closeup of the torn cable:
