I have tried all Opera builds but not one of them seems stable enough to support flash!
In V7 I've used latest Opera build 15316 as cab so I leave it up to you what you do with it.
One thing do, because of the latest Esmertec Jbed Opera is improved a lot!
Internet Explorer 6 is stable and support's flash, Youtube movies play excelent in it smooth and clear!

A tip to watch Youtube movies in IE !
In Internet Explorer menu go to 'Option's\Other' and set:

Fixed the ringtone issue for good!
Fixed a issue with LockStreamDRM which caused the DownloadAgent.exe not functioning.
System respons time improved with the new drivers.

In IE6 the movies play good and stable and also full screen.
After many test I came to the conclusion that not one Opera build is stable enough to use flash.
I have used the latest Opera in V5 and it's uninstallable so it's up to you what you do with it.

A warning before you flash this rom!
You must flash HardSPL first to be able to flash this rom!

An alternative is USPL, it doesn't change your original SPL!

Tips about flashing the rom:
Best is to have your device fully charged
Switch off your device by holding the Power button untill a menu popsup.
Go to bootloader by holding Volume down + Power button at the same time.
Connect your device to your PC
Start BlackStoneCustomRUU.exe and follow the onscreen instruction's.
An alternative is to flash your device from storage card:
Rename RUU_Signed.nbh to BLACIMG.NBH and copy it to your Storage card
Follow the above steps to go in bootloader
A messages will popup, push power button to start flashing or Volume down to cancel
After it's done a new message popsup, softreset your device.
Aldo I have tested this rom many time's and it's currently running on my device I don't take any responsability incase something goes wrong with your device!

Love your work, Laurentius. Have used your ROMs many times. I'm curious about the 8mb pagepool. Do you think it might be the optimal size? I'm currently playing around with my own ROM, and have set my pagepool at 16mb. Seems to be quite responsive, but if it's excessive, I should change it. In Canada, I'm on Rogers, which supports Caller Name Display. It will show who is calling, even if they are not in your contacts list. I've replaced the rilphone.dll from the Rogers Diamond ROM and it is working, which is why I'm trying to cook my own ROM, but I'm having trouble with my packages, they seem to install, but I don't have any shortcuts in my Program directory. Do I need to do anything special when I create a package from a cab?? Thanks for any help I can get.

@Dann, I dont think he will be tweaking the radio for that. Its going to take alot more than that. Trust me im dieing for 850/1900 UMTS bands to be enabled. It MIGHT be able to be done by using the radio out of a usa Touch Diamond....

I - TUTORIALS & LEARNING RESOURCES
- "Flash" = copy a file into the device read-only memory (ROM)
- Types of ROMs: SPL roms, firmware ROMs & transmitter RADIO roms. Original stock ROMs often include all three
- All ROMs are flashed with *.nbh extension. Some stock ROMs come as *.image and must be renamed to *.nbh first
- Ways to flash: from a PC using the proper "ROM Update Utility" (RUU) listed below or from a microSD card inside the phone
- Notice there are 3 different RUUs depending on what you want to flash to the phone from your PC
- ROM or RADIO files must be renamed accordingly: "RUU_signed.nbh" to flash from PC using RUU, or "KOVSimg.nbh" to flash directly from microSD
- Flashing SPLs or RADIOs is fast (a couple of minutes) and will not delete any info or software. Flashing ROMs takes more time and resets the device, erasing everything to its original state as if it were the first time you turn it on

Please notice I stated that all edited radios (imported from other phones) were tested on a security unlocked phone... We will need fir a security unlock tool to finally flash other radios successfuly
BTW radio 1.10.25.18 works a treat for me
just wanna say thanks to xda devs and all its contributors.. you guys have made my first experience with a ppc a truly exciting one!!!

I have installed Hard SPL = OK
When I try to use Rom Update Utility, I get an error message (I don't remember de "error number") I searched for that error number and found that it is because this Rom Update Utility is not made for may device and I am using the Xperia X1i (from Vodafone Spain).
Can anyone please confirm that the Rom Update Utility posted here for the Xperia x1 (x1a) differs from the one I need for the X1i ??????

I may be wrong, but if you do not have an unlocked phone you may need to SIM unlock it before flashing.

Extracted the OS
Converted to *.nbh
Renamed it to Kovsimg.nbh
Copied it to and Micro SD
Started the device in loader mode
And just had to follow the on screen instructions !!!!!
Done !!! It's done !!!! )
Perhaps moderator could make this one sticky, i think it would be a good idea since it's the most complete and gtrab worked a lot in making this library the most useful possible for all.
And sure that it will save a lot of time from some people... and avoid dumb questions from some others not willing to read basic posts before flashing their first rom....

2- Did you try the micro SD method with the full image before ?? Or just with the extracted OS ??
I need more input 'bout that RUU - Anybody else gettin' trouble with this RUU ??
3- I DO prefer the microSD method and I use it all the time; It's safer. Think 'bout a mains (power) failure during the PC driven ROM update

Installation Guide:
- Download: X2Pure Installer below
- After download is finished, run: X2Pure Installer
- Destination folder must be C:\
- Click install button
- After the installation is finished, pop-up image will guide you to flash your XPERIA X1
- Close the pop-up image
- Open XPure Package from your desktop
- You will get 3 features:
+ X2Pure Launcher for flashing
+ X2Pure Optional Custom for additional interface customization (not X2 standard)
+ X2Pure Documentations for previewing ROM before flashing
Removal Guide:
- This installer don't create any registry so you can delete it manually
Suggestions:
- Since megaupload is restricted in some countries, I suggest you to use leecher website. I can't mirror the file to jumbofiles because my only account is out of limit right now

Installing this patch will solve problem/ issue(s) partially or fully before a fixed solution is solved over next ROM releasing.

Report: Freezing problem with default "File Explorer" while handling many files.

Description:
Inspired from MasterChef Jeperlea. This ROM is ported from XPERIA X2 (Venus) ROM. Some applications and patch might be remodification from official XPERIA X1 ROM.
Changes Log:
- fix for SlideView (OpenGL) so the SlideView won't lag when you scroll it.
- fix for Panel Manager (Panel Processor) so the Panel Manager won't close applications that is attached to homesreen.
- Clear registry, there's no differences that I can see but it will be the cleanest Russell Eclair ROM (especially XPure)
Remain problems:

Flashing Tutorial for Beginner and Proffesional
Are you beginner?
Before flashing your X1 handled, you should notice that your handled has been hard-SPL. You can check it by entering bootscreen:
To enter bootscreen:
- In "off" status handled, press and hold camera button then continue to press power button
- Release all the buttons when your handled is showing gray screen for seconds. Then rainbow or tricolor screen should appear and show;

SPL-0.72.Olinex (Original SPL: SPL-0.78.0000)

To do hard-SPL if your handled's SPL is still in original SPL:
- Connect your handled via ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Centre
- Run X1_HardSPL.exe
- Follow next onscreen instructions
To flash custom ROM:
- Extract the package (CustomRUU.exe and ruu_signed.nbh)
- Connect your handled via ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Centre, *You also can connect via bootscreen
- Run CustomRUU.exe
- Follow next onscreen instructions
* If you can't connect your handled to PC due to unavailable data cable, unsuported OS, etc, you can follow these steps:
- Rename ruu_signed.nbh to kovsimg.nbh
- Copy the renamed file to the root directory of your memory card
- Enter bootscreen and wait till your handled to finish flashing

Are you proffesional?
If you flashed your X1 handled many times, I recommended you to perform Task29.
To perform task29,
- Connect your handled via ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Centre
*You also can connect via bootscreen
- Run Task29
- Follow next onscreen instructions
- While the "black screen" appear, perform "entering bootscreen" maneuver
* Press and hold camera and power button
* If you are late in performing "entering bootscreen" maneuver, try to reset it and try again
- Now you can perform flashing new ROM to your handled

Are hardware keys defined in Nitrogen? Otherwise people will have a hard time figuring out how to control Nitrogen ;-)

Where is the download link?
Well... finally managed to download the Walkman ROM today, megaupload kept cancelling the download halfway!?
Flashed the rom, first impressions were good.
Then I started Nitrogen to see my skin in action...
went to the key config...
huh? the option is missing!
Turns out the ROM has Nitrogen 1.1 instead of 1.2 which doesn't have the option to config hardware keys so can not be used in combination with the Walkman skin!?
Luckily the Walkman player is uninstallable, so I've attached Nitrogen 1.2 and the skin to fix it (though you'll probably miss the nice Walkman player icon now).

Anyway, may I request "sense me" feature...
My Review about your ROMs
Since there're many people give their comment, let me tell about my point of view about your ROM:
- Your 'new' Walkman ROM is nice. For performance, I prefer your LV ROM. I think with "real" Walkman Player and with "Black Walkman" theme, I think Walkman Beta ROM is better. Anyway, why don't you also post that LV ROM here?
- XPure ROM is still the good ROM with the best interface. One thing, I miss from XPure is the video playback. Please let me know if the video playback is fixable
- 7Pure is the cheapest way to have a different style for X1 and it's very fast.
Overall, you are the most innovative chef in this forum eventhough I have to say that some of your ROM is not perfect. Others are kinky with HTC Stuffs (no characters among them)
