as u see in the title i d like to kno where its located exactly cause unitl i m not able to change the background at all...i ve tryed different thing but didnt work at all...

Diamond Background...
Go to settings/wallpaper if it asks you 'Would you like to use the default wallpaper' select 'no' This will take you to 'Your Pictures'. Click on one if you have any and it will change it for you. If you want a wallpaper of your choice place a picture of it in 'Your Pictures' with a size of 480x640 and select it as previously explained. I hope this points you in the right direction..
I have posted a wallpaper of the correct size for you to try.

i go to settings (no wallpaper tab) - i got to today then i set the picture you gave me as a background - it doesnt work
I tried to also copy put the picture into my pictures - right click it and set as a tady backgroup - doesnt work either !!!

Hi cy-rock, I assume you have a Diamond with TF3D activated. If you move your slider at the bottom to 'Settings' that is where you will find the Wallpapers and access to Your Pictures to change it. It is not in your main settings menu..

U kno wat i saw that in TF3D there s a tab saying wallpaper !!!
And strangly, after reinstalling the version 0.6.7 ...that specific tab is missing in Tf3D !!!
Under appareance i have:
theme | date format | language |HOme
its very strange !!!! any clue ?
up for the clue !!!!
i can see that the background issue is a huge question and that not many people understand that situation...
which is kinda weird...

There is no wallpaper tab, its in wallpaper in the settings tab. The image is HomeBackground.img in the windows folder.

After dragging them into my device and click on them, all my Tilt does is take me to the theme page... no effect!

then just use RC Mod and set your own background through Start > Settings > Today
and use your own pic. Thats what I did.

Have you tried searching google for "how to install tsk themes"? Here's one hit. http://pocketpccentral.net/help/tsk_files.htm
Basically copy the .tsk file to your ppc device (I place them in /My Documents).
Go to Settings>Today and then select your new theme....
then it's all grey + washed out. Is there a way to disable that?

you can drag the tsk file to the 'template' file in explore (activesync) and it will load it into the today screen list. (with the presets)

All the files are in die "Windows"-folder.
i can tell how to change back ground... go to settings from touch flo then wallpaper.. select any pic.
I found the ugly blue background branded by O2 in the WINDOWS directory (at least I think it is that one): \WINDOWS\stBackImage.png
However TotalCommander states that it is in the ROM and I can't seem to modify it in any way. This is where some more WM6 experienced people would be needed to tell me how to modify these files?

Well the blue-ish O2 theme is something i COULD live with - it's not THAT ugly - but then again: I wish I wouldn't have to
you can create a file with the same name and extension on you're desktop
eddit it with any paint progam and save it,
Now you can try to copie it and overwrite it on you're device...
it works for me, if not for you, you have to wait until some has unlocked the rom files

nope, activesync tells me that the drive is either read-only or the file is write-protected...
I would also LOVE to know how to change ALL the backgrounds in touch flo 3D.

I managed to overwrite this file - without success... it doesn't seem to be the right file...
I can't find any other file that looks like the touchflo 3d background - unfortunately...

why not simply reflash with another rom? as far as I know all cooked roms contain the standard (black) version of TF3D...
because this is not what I want...
although black is prettier than blue the o2 theme looks better (icons, no green borders etc)

on touch flo 3D, \i think thats 9th tab, that mean after Weather u,ll find Settings than from settings 3rd one Wallpaper (Home Wallpaper) select it & change to any pic ulike. but this will only will efect for touch flo home only.

Exactly just the first background, that makes it pretty useless.
I can't imagine why HTC were that braindead they didn't include such a feature.
Hey guys, lots of great packages here but the one thing I really want to change/get rid off is those crappy blocks which are used in the touch flow background.
You know the ones, the crappy ones which fade into the horizon that look like something from Tron
They look terrible and it seems you can only replace the home area with a background image.
Do any of the packages here allow you to change this?

guess the only way to do that is to change the theme using touch flo 3d config
anyone have a solution for this. as much as i like the blocks i want to change me to the same wall paper as my home page.
Please, i want to change that ugly wallpaper too... Touch flow 3d config "themes change" don't work for that.
I agree. Since ive changed to the Official HTC WWE 1.93 rom with .5 radio (better signal now, thanks for that!) I cannot change the background at all. In SETTINGS and TODAY the background image has been selected by clicking on BROWSE yet nothing is displayed.

You CAN change the Wallpaper on the homescreen by SLIDING to the SETTINGS Tab on the TF3D.
There is an option Wallpaper. This will change the Wallpaper on the HOMESCREEN only (unfortunately) and not on the other tabs
The BACK GROUND with in the Settings and Today menu doesn't apply to the wallpaper.

I find it hard to believe no one has made an app to make the wallpaper apply to all tabs....why did HTC make it like this? Weird....
Im suprised as well. Changing the home page is nice, but i would like the rest of my tabs to look ince too.

Just because you have no clue about how to do this doesn't meant it's a good idea to insult peoples intelligence by implying its simple and they should have done it already. The reason it's not been done yet is not because theres no want, but because devs must first understand fully how Manilla operates, it's not exactly documented in a nice fancy API.

Why is it so hard to change the home tab font color in HD? Is there any application that can be used?
I goggled it everywhere... nothing... i installed uitweaker, doesn't work.

i just installed this on my fuze and have a few issues..
i currently have a stock rom and using "da mad scientists" manila theme. i turned off tf3d before i installed the cab then turned tf3d back on and more than just the font color changed..
i was using the hd contacts tab and now the icon to send a text message is missing from each contact and the internet bookmarks changed from the 3d "going away look" to the normal 2d list.
i then disabled tf3d, uninstalled this cab, soft reset,enabled tf3d and the font is still black and all the tabs are the same..
anyone have a guess how to fix this?

How can I put the WHOLE wallpaper on screen?!?
I successfully transfer file from PC to mobile, and when I want to set it as a wallpaper I have to "cut" it...i don't want to cut it I want the wholw picture on my screen!!!! The resolution of the picture is 720x1280, so that can't be the problem...
Only wallpapers that are original on phone can be full size on screen?!?
I hope that you understrand what I want, and for you all it's probably a noob question, but please help...

The problem is the resolution. A wallpaper needs to be twice as wide as the screen - that way the wallpaper can scroll correctly when you move homepages. Therefore you need to make sure your wallpaper is 1440x1280. If you only every want a single homescreen then take your 720x1280 wallpaper and add 360 pixels of junk on each side so it is the right size.

sorry mate, but i'm a new player here , so I can't put outside links...
but, go to Play Store, search: "picspeed" and select "PicSpeed HD Wallpapers 300,000", install it and that's it!
