I found a voicemail.exe on my stock att fuse. What is if for? adding voice attachments? playing back voice attachments? It runs but I cant make it do anything.
Also what is Tone_Sample.log that keeps pop-ing up in the root dir?
I did a search first and found nothing of either so if this has been covered please point me to the thread...

Ok I have AT&T and while I'm working at AT&T (my job) I like to watch Lost on my breaks using Cingular Video. When I click on the link to launch video the damn Realplayer pops up and errors out. I have Schaps 4.31 ROM. I have TCPMP installed and want the video to default to that player. I checked the file associations and checked every box I saw and soft reset the phone, tried again and nothing. I can't go into the realplayer options because when the error pops up and i hit ok Realplayer quickly closes. I want to delete possible every trace of the program on my phone. I know I have to go through the registry but I don't want to delete anything that would potentially make my life a living hell being that I have so much stuff already on my phone. Can anyone help. Realplayer is useless.
Might not work but ya can try to go to the RealPlayer.exe itself in the Windows folder and rename it. If it's cooked into the ROM ya may not be able to though. Also, ya can go to it in the Windows folder itself and run it and it won't close down on ya, and that way you can get to the options. In options, you need to make sure it connects to MEdiaNet and not the internet, or you'll get an error every time.

it is connected to MEdia Net. I know all the settings in the back of my head. I troubleshoot customers phones everyday. Realplayer is buggin me. If I rename realplayer.exe to something else.. how would it open up in tcpmp.. wouldn't i have to re-do the registry so that it opens TCPMP.. i'll try it now and tell you how it goes. hi. this is something i used do with my vario (wm6). if i find a tel number on the internet or google maps i would copy it and then just paste it in the telephone keypad view.seems its not possible on the compact IV? please let me know if theres a way, not need to look for a pen... thanks

Anyway, you'll need to upgrade to a 1.93 variant... previous ROMs didn't have the feature... There is no other way.

thanks. but at least for me the Search does not work on this website. might be due Linux/Firefox... not sure. Everytime search for something, use keywords press Search/submit, never get any results! tried so many times but it just doesent work!? im sure there are others W same prob??
try rightclicking Search and open in new tab
firefox works fine in linux for searching,
(ATT FUZE) I've tried googling and browsing through the preferences in opera:config, but is there a way to change the default web search from the landscape menu from Yahoo? I absolutely hate yahoo.

I'm using the Sprint Touch Pro using Juggalo rom and when I click on web search in landscape it brings up Google. Might want to ask him on ppcgeeks.com I don't know if he post here or not.
Mine changed to google when I changed to the tf3d landscape theme..
I was unable to find any other way of doing this, but it has to be possible since its something within manila I expect.
I currently use the ROMeOS2 Confuzed ROM and when I use the landscape search it uses google so there is definitely a way to get that setup just wit around for someone to point it out for you.

ActionMenuItems.xml
Change from read only
Change the http ://us.m2. yahoo blah blah to whatever you want.
change back to read only
reboot phone.
I tried this, and now all my buttons show email and are not clickable. Could someone post thier working or unedited xml file so I can see if i accidentally changed something?
can someone upload a copy of the ActionMenuItems.xml file? my rom is missing this file. Thank you.
Edit: Winmo 6.5 doesn't come with ActionMenuItems.xml or InternetPortal.xml. I found them in a kitchen file. They worked.
Hi, Okay, I have read and read and read and I have finally come up with what it is that I want to do now. I may do more in the future. Now I just need to get my phone to work because I am moving and need to use it driving. I started looking for the MSVC 1.6. Finally got directed to SEX R5.0. After reading all of that I see that there is a CAB for the MSVC 1.6. It said that if I downloaded that that it would also activate the file so that it would work.

to use as my tutorial to flash the phone. If I do this first and then download this one, the bluetooth cab http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=588882
Will I be all set to go with the voice command software? That is as simple as I want right now. I have to get it working within the next two days.

That made no sense at all. Voice Command is just an app. Just get a CAB and install it like you would anything else
