Tilt Comm Manager status on HTC Home

All of the sudden I have data on the page that has a little Wi-Fi icon with AT&T next to it. Then, underneath is a row that says:
Wi-Fi: Off (bluetooth symbol): Off
When I click on any portion if it it opens Comm Mgr. I have no idea where it came from or how to get rid if it. How do I take a snapshot of my screen? I can post it if no one recognizes the symptoms.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

It is the wireless today plugin. Go to Settings, Today, select the Items tab. From there you can turn on (check) or turn off (uncheck) the plugin. Uncheck it and it will disappear from your today screen.

That's what Im saying there isnt any such option I go to Start>Settings>Home then theres only an option to untick HTC home or tick it the options is greyed out...
If I untick HTC Home it removes everything including the clock but MSN and appointments are still displayed...
what rom are you using?
The factory ROM from T-Mobile UK
depending upon which version of HTC HOme is installed will determine the way to do this. Version 2.1 added a third tab under Settings > Today that allows the add/del of tabs. Otherwise you will have to use HTC Home Customer by pocketemu.com. It allows you to pick and choose which tabs you want to show.
I didn't know there was a 2.1. Thanks for the enlightment
OK, Ive managed to install the latest HTC Home but if I select None in menu then it disaplys all the tabs and if I display only it still comes up with a bih home icon with the same menu...
Is it possible to remove everything and just leave the clock to keep it simple?

Today plug ins not displaying

I'm probably just missing something obvious but when I go into settings -> today -> items tab and select the plug ins i want displayed, they don't display on the today screen. And if I go back to the settings screen they are unticked again.
Am I missing something? Is there something else I need to do to enable this?

No, but you do need to disable TF3D before you can add Today Items. So it's either TF3D (meybe even in combination with Second Today) or no TF3D with your usual Today Items.
Thanks! I'll give SecondToday a try.

Task manager missing after install/remove Quickmenu

Hey y'all
I tried out Quickmenu but uninstalled it because it was rather buggy. It would sometimes be there, sometimes not. It replaced the HTC taskmanger and removed the icon on the home page.
After removing quickmenu, HTC TM didnt show up again. I checked the Task Manager settings and the Enable quick menu - checked. So I reinstalled HTC Task Manager and still nothing.
Any suggestions?
reinstall quick menu and uncheck everything in options and then close and uninstal
Try going to HKCU\Software\TaskManager with total commander, and change the value for "enableQmenu" from 0 to 1.
There are options under both the General and View tab in QM that over-ride the task manager settings. They are the q-menu and "press-ok" options.
You might need to reinstall QM, then disable the options and try again.
use showcase, WAY easier to use and much better looking too.

[Q] Can I put settings buttons directly on my homescreen?

So far I've found myself using two settings very often,
settings -> about phone -> battery use
settings -> applications -> manage applications
I'd like these to be buttons on my homescreen if that is possible.
Is that possible?
Does the fact that I'm using syndicate rom 1.1.0 and launcher pro plus change the answer at all?

Most stock roms will pull task manager up if you long press the home key. As for battery use, well settings is on your left soft key, that's as good as it gets
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App
Sorry, somehow I put this in s-9000's forum instead of epic 4g.
For application manager I meant, at least for the epic, the stock location that can be used to install and uninstall programs.
You can use launcher pro for this purpose I believe.
Long press on desktop -> Actions (or something similar, don't remember) -> Find the battery info text
Yeah actions should do the trick. Takes a while to locate what you want though.
