Hello,
Can anyone tell me how to make Screenshots with Diamond.
Thanks.
Screenshots...
Try this little piece of freeware
I love My Mobiler it gives you full control over your pocket pc from the desktop, and it has a screencapture option that captures the screen directly to your comoputer.
Google for cerdisp, that's microsoft's remote control software for WM. Supersmall and easy to use.

Hello,
before i bought my new gadget HTC Diamond, i used a Nokia.
Now i miss a Software for flip via BT the slides from a powerpoint presentation.
Is there a extra programm for this feature ?
Daniel
hi!
if you're running vista as presentation host you can use windows
sideshow. a developer preview of sideshow for windows
mobile has been released just a few weeks ago. just google for it.
this app is very usefull for presentations, even the next slides
are displayed etc.
hope this helps!
Hi! I can very much recommend Salling Clicker (www.salling.com) although the developer is lazy in updating the software. You can control a lot of applications including Power Point with bluetooth or wifi. Works with Windows and Mac. There are mobile clients for Windows Mobile, Java, S60, etc.
currently i work with win xp - so i try Salling Clicker ( shareware ) for the first step.
thx
Daniel
Bluetooth remote control works very well too:

hi all, is there any methods to link up my diamond with my laptop using BT? I only wish to control my mouse cursor/powerpoint slides navigation. Something similar to Sony Ericssion BT remote control will definitely helps!!!
Tyr this! works like a treat for me over WIFI.

If you indeed only need to have a simple (non-full) control, PPC Tablet Remote Control Suite is prolly the best solution. It's been reviewed & compared to the other remote apps in my related Bible at http://wiki.xda-developers.com/inde...s for Windows Mobile - the Definitive Roundup
For a more general solution (which may turn out to be an overkill in your case), see my other Bible at http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Access your desktop PC from your Pocket PC!
Hi,
I am trying to turn the hardware acceleration OFF on the HTC Diamond phone.
We have a project to display the screen of the HTC Diamond on a big plasma screen, so people can play around on the phone and others are able to watch what he is doing on the big screen.
We are using the sotware "River Past Mobile Presenter" for that purpose, but as the HTC Diamond is using hardware acceleration for video we are not able to display these contents on the big screen.
I think video overlay by the graphics card prevents us from displaying the video contents on the screen.
Is there a way to completely turning off the hardware acceleration, or a way to do that for certain programs, as the browser?
I was browsing the registry all day for the correct keys, but wasn't able to find what I was looking for.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks a lot guys,
Robert
It works here in an instant.
But I think it has something to do with PC/Laptop.
I can see my Diamond screen, but I cannot make a screenshot! On the screenshot, it's a black screen
It's like screenshotting an videofile, I seen that before.
Can't you use mymobiler through a laptop or pc?
http://www.mymobiler.com/
the trial version has fullscreen mode and screenshot diabled
I mean print screen
mymobiler works awesommy well.
Even on 640x480
Anyone came across one? I'm hoping to either buy one tomorrow but if there is one for Android I'd much rather save my cash..
Thanks
i want this also, would be very handy.
We don't even have a working video camera yet, so this isn't very likely until some time much farther down the road, if ever.
im sorry to say, but there is a video camera app out there in beta stages(crappy but good) it has some errors and what not..
in order to make a web cam app you dont have to have a video camera app installed on the g1, video capturing image is already enabled on the phone, just someone has to make an app for it. to make a webcam app you would have to make your own video capturing system, or use an existing one if you code it right, some where some how some one will do it, just takes time :'(
Doesn't the vid cam app thats out now record video in motion jpeg?
Are you thinking you'd connect your phone to a PC and use it as a webcam? Surely we are not talking about using this on the phone, otherwise you'd have to turn the phone around every second to type, view the other persons video, etc...
That being said, the ADT Plugin For Eclipse adds Screenshot Capability to Eclipse... Might be some way to adapt that into a video feed? Although, this would then be more of a PC driver request than an Android app request...
use your windows mobile as a webcam
Its free and simple....
Download mymobiler: http://www.mymobiler.com
Download VH screen capture driver: http://www.hmelyoff.com/index.php?section=8
Start mymobiler and activate your mobile camera
Grab the part of the screen you want with VH screen capture
Now you have a webcam stream which you can use in any program like skype, msn etc..
Look at this video as example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wveANUBUIJM
Instead of using the microsoft remote tool use mymobiler. It is much faster.
PS: You need active sync to communicate with mymobiler

This would be the purpose I would want to use it for. Granted webcams are cheap these days so i'm not sure it is really all that practical.
Probably not but might be cool nonetheless.
The idea

I am not high or abusing your eyes. Maybe you can read between the lines and use my example as you wish.
Or is there maybe no camera option on a Android phone ?? I don't know anything about googles attempt to make something for a pda/phone.
Or is there no software available to remote control the phone. Or is it the lack of applications for Android ??? Ok you mentioned WINE...It seems you are waiting for windows emulation on Android because there is actualy more software available for Windows Mobile ???
Anyway if your are able to display your camera on a Windows screen you can capture it with the VH screencapture and use the stream for skype etc...

You people need to upgrade to one of the Builds of 1.5, so you can use Camcorder (the google cam recorder).

I agree. What a waste of time. But For one I would love to see a Webcam on my G1.

Uhm I have the 1.5H A2SD
And there is a camcorder..but you cant stream it through MSN or Skype..which is what people are wanting to do.
Control Home Theatre (Itunes or WMP) from Touch Pro?
Is this possible, I know the iphone can integrate with itunes
Unfortunatelly I don't know any good freware solution for this.
Anyway, you can try a program called "Signal". It is cheap and through wifi works quickest that a mouse in front of the screen.
There is a program in the MS marketplace (if you have it) that will turn the screen of your phone into a bluetooth track-pad for a connected computer. I believe it has a media controls panel in addition to the track-pad and a few other control functions. But unfortunately it isn't free, can't recall the name off the top of my head...
Thanks the best I could think of.
Hope that helps.
Free and amazingly cool!
