perhaps a new vision of touchflo, not on the bottom you can chang it individuel and bring ones of the program in the middle of your display

so i got a t-mobile wing. my first smart phone. its amazing. anyways i have a few questions:
1. Where can i get a nice big digital clock today screen plugin? i see them on screen shots of peoples screens but i can't find any.
2. Are there any good weather today screen plugins?
3. Some people (or at least on other devices) have SMS as a softkey, mine are calendar and contacts, is there a simple option to make the calendar softkey be SMS instead? or do i have to edit the registry or something crazy like that to get it?
4. Do i really have to worry about viruses on this thing? i saw something like WM5 Anti Virus program, so im just wondering.
5. What is the best browser to use?
if you guys could help me that would be great. i have yet to find a forum about WM6 or the Wing that where people actually go to the site.
All of those and more are located within the forum in easy to find threads. The great thing about looking around the forum is you will find stuff out that you never even thought of. I would recommend reading and getting acquainted to the forums, its a much better way to learn than someone just linking you somewhere. And congrats on your new Wing.

this is HTC home plugin

HTC home plugin shows weather. if not try SPB Weather, SPB Traveler, SPB phone suite (the only ones I have experience with)

Go to Settings, Buttons to change the softkeys

In my opinion, no not really ... just be considerate of what you install on your phone and what executable files you run.

I haven't settled on one yet, but I use Mozilla's MINIMO and OPERA 8.X apart from IE.

i guess my other post didn't show up? well every search results in HTC Home or TouchFlo.
i don't want all the stuff from HTC home, just the clock and simple weather, no tabs or any of that stuff. is there a way to have just the clock and/or weaher?

also, going to settings>buttons has no optinos for softkeys, only hardware keys.
opera mobile is a lot better, i like how you can scroll by dragging on the screen.
I do use Opera most of the time, I've just always been a big supporter of Mozilla stuff ... so I keep it around

i havn't tried minimo because i heard it was slow and uses a lot of memory. is that true?
I'm about fed up with TouchFlo 3D, nice but pretty useless and I REALLY miss the Cube from my Touch Dual, much more convenient and doens't waste CPU cycles, so...has anyone installed it on the Diamond ?

But not working for me.
Its not so simple as switching cube on. Cube is simply not there in our Diamond. If u try to install this Cube configurator from the Elf thread, u'll see a multitude of errors, missing files, etc. Cube may be functional here, but we'll be needing all those files
Yes, that sucks, the CUBE is x times more useful than TouchFlo 3D IMHO.
There must be a way though because it was added to non touch devices.
i dun think we'll have to descend to the non touch method, they use flash. i'm sure if we can get the Touch Cruise for example, and get their files, and put it in, it should work? i think

Thanks, but what I like about the cube is up and down the gesture to bring the contact list and then left to right for the various tools. The Contact list would be enough actually.

Any news guys ? I was so happy with my Touch Cruise but bought the Diamond for the 640x480 screen and faster video playback.
The TouchFlow 3D looks fine but it's very useless to me, The old TouchFlo Cube from the cruise could be swept away and you had your normal windows todayscreen.
I tried the Cube thing SPD Mobile Shell but the old originall CUBE is way better I think.
Any solutions ?

To do this you will require either htc home ,spb, manilla, or throttlelauncher. These applications actually replace your home screen to give you these tabs. There may be a shortcut menu application but any way you look at it, it isnt a native part of the OS.
FYI,
HTC Home, Manilla , Throttlelauncher are free apps you can find by using the search buttons

Note.... a plugin is an application. Not a part of the actual rom. Again, you are looking for an application that will do this.

I'd love to help you....but your request is really broad. Try to narrow it down a little...like applications that can perform specific tasks. The amount of customization you can do to a WM device is almost limitless. If you don't have any in mind right now...look around....check some forums out online. I'm sure you'll come across applications that would make you go...'hmmm....I'd like to have that' That's where xda devs comes in

what kind of customization are u looking for? Are u trying to get a completly new theme? Remove some tabs from the touch flo? You need to be more specific about about what you would like to customize. Like what are you exactly looking to do?
for now i would like to know how to redu a whole new theme
Get diamond tf3d config. Browse the diamond forums for themes. Install them via diamond tf3d config if it's a file that ends in .theme. Some of them will be cabs, which you just install. On my phone, I installed a .theme file, then a cab to change the clock, and then a cab to hide the top curtain... all of which I found in the diamond forums. Lot's of good information for customizing in the diamond forums. Anything else specific you want to customize, just do a search.

I have 2 little questions anyway:
Is there a way to install a skine which makes the start menu of windows like the windoes 6.5's 1? That dropdown bar is very ugly in my hopinion.
I tried home 2 of pointui and I've been astonished of his rapidity and precision, it was much better than touchflo. Contacts and pages slide 100 times better.
Is there any way to improve sliding of pages and lists like in that UI? At least I know it is possible!

You could try some other UI's like SPB Mobile Shell or Point UI like you mentioned and see if those work for you. As far as the Honeycomb start menu of 6.5, I don't know if there is a way to alter the 6.1 start menu to look like that. You'll probably have to unlock and flash a 6.5 rom for that.
Try some of the tweaks posted in the Diamond Tweaks Sticky to improve scrolling. They do work!

If I can ask an other question, I have the brand of my operator instead of Opera logo in browser section of touchflo, is there any way to remove it?

Are you referring to the large icon that shows when you click the internet tab? It's usually a Globe. Or are you talking about the splash screen when Opera starts?
