Hi:
I've got a Diamond since 3 months ago. I sincronize it with Outlook 2007. When I go for a trip and return with several changes in the calendar it is not able to sincronize and I got the Support Code 0x80070002. I tried to unlink and relink again the Diamond, delete and build an new Outlook.pst but didn't work, some times I got another error 8600050d and some other time I got some appointments sincronized and most of them dissapeared.
What can I do?.
Thanks in advance and best regards, JM.

Tried the several ideas (unchecking-checking e-mail server deletion option and hard reset) posted on sprintusers.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1864960&posted=1#post1864960, but without success. Messages stay on server (have several different e-mail servers), relevant feature for me to organize on the road. Had a HTC 3300 until last week, with no issues on this matter at all, now with Diamond/WM 6.1 it simply doesn't work. Made several more tests, notice that until connecting again to server for sending new message, seems that the deletion worked but once new message is sent, messages are downloaded again. Didn't find any mention to this on several threads (am I missing something?) and appreciate help to fix!
same here.
what i did is instate of using POP, I change to IMAP.
my email support both POP & IMAP.
I've got the same problem with POP3 accounts. I'm guessing it's a WM6.1 thing - used to work fine with the exact same config on my TYTN II.
Would really love to hear from anyone that finds a fix.
hi!
i don't think that this is depending on wm6.1!
i had a trinity with wm6.1 and always synced with exchange (as i do now
with my diamond) with no problems.
since i have the diamond the deleted items don't disappear in my exchange
account, when i return to office the deleted items are still there...
regards,
markus
I can confirm that this is a bug with exchange and wm6.
You delete or move an email and it will not make the changes to the server until an email or appointment is pushed through to you.
only solution is then to wait for WM7?
Hello, i have HTC tytn 2, with ROM RUU_Kaiser_HTC_WWE_1.56.405.5_radio_sign_22.45.88.07_1.27.12.32, installed DST fix from Microsoft.
Problem occures when i want to sync appointments with my SyncML to commpanys egroupware. It changes appointment time for one hour, sync with Activesync and Calendar/2003 is ok. I have found a way to fix it temporary but i need permanent fix.
I could fix the problem if i change GMT+1 from Prague to Berlin(GMT+1), but then i have to dellete all appointments in groupware and resync all.
Where is the bug, it occures in about 14 days. When i delete all appointments in groupware and make allsync the time of appointment is correct (if i change GMT+1). If i dont make GMT+1 change (praga to berlin) it will sync wrong time again +1h. So i belive my problem is in HTC.
if any one has a solution my patience would be pleased
thank you all in advance
Hey has anyone had or have the problems where appointments will not sync anymore
started sunday with the time change.
I just setup SBS 2008 exchange 2007.
even on my SBS 2003 with older exchange
both of them will not sync my appointments. There is no errors. just it fails to sync any appointment. i put into my phone. if it's in outlook it will sync fine just won't go from phone to outlook.
There seems to be allot of people having this problem with the Tilt. I am running the OEM software. I had cleared my phone many times. I have deleted my exchange mailbox. sync to a new one my wifes. same problem
my wife has a treo and it works fine.
Not sure if anyone is still having this issue, but the fix for Calendar items created on device not syncing up to Exchange (but sync no problem from Exchange to device), do the following:
1. Go to Start/Settings/Clock & Alarm
2. Change your Time Zone to another zone, and OK.
3. Go into ActiveSync on device, and sync with exchange
4. Go back to Clock & Alarm and change your time zone back to appropriate time zone
5. sync with ActiveSync again.
Problem should be resolved. Has worked for me many of times.
Thanks!
Active Exchange Appointment Sync Problems
I had the same problem. The proceedure in pgdrews post would work for me on a one time basis. I had to repeat the proceedure each day.
The process at posted Feb. 2 in the following link work for me on a permanent basis.

Has anyone else seen this, when i look on the phone calendar all the birthdays and bank holidays have been brought forward a day. Xmas day now the 24th Boxing day the 25th. I'm now scared to use activesync in case it then changes everything in outlook.
My guess is that this has to do with different time-zones. In march several appointments shifted one hour on my old device. Damn you MS!
If you're scared about your PC Outlook, back your database up before connecting the D2. It's a .pst file in the folder C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
This problem ?

All my birthdays and holliday in the contacts of my diamond 2 are shown a day to early aswell. In Exchange my weddingday is 26 september 2007 but in my phone it says 25 september 2007. This happens with all birthdays and holidays. Hope someone find a fix soon. Date and time settings on my phone are the same as my exchange 2007. And outlook 2007 displays them correct aswell.
I don't think it is a D2 issue because I used to get that problem on my cruise. I decided it was something to do with syncing the data with either google calendar or activesync.
i think that is has to do with regionals settings. My topaz did the same and i changed the regional settings and the time zone, deleted the pim file and i syncronized again. The problem solved.
How to delete the PIM file? Or should I just setup exchange active sync all over again?

All i did to fix this was delete my activesync settings on the phone. Make sure all the birthdays and holidays were correct in outlook. Some were, some had been changed then re-enterd my server details details. Its been OK since.
Reconfigured active sync and all seems well now. Thanks.

I wonder if its to do with touchflow, i always turn it off, but my problems seemed to happen after having a play with it the other day. The problems were still there tho after i'd turned it back off.
For the last few months I have been unable to send text, but I could recieve texts. This seems to have resolved itself after I synced with Windows 7/Office 2010 beta on second machine. After I sync now with Outlook 2007 on my main XP machine texting is still working.
Not sure that was what cured the problem. Because at about the same time I created a new contact on the phone and noticed texting had become available. Whichever changed things I can now text any of my contacts.
But an ongoing problem is syncing the calendar. If I create an appointment on the device it syncs to outlook 2007. However if I create the appointment on the pc it does not sync to the phone. It has worked previously
Any advice would be sincerely welcomed
Using AT&T Tilt with 02 Xda Stellar rom Win Mobile 6.1
try deliting the partnership in activesync on your phone and both pc's and do a new "first time" sync, maybe that will help
Same?
i have the same problem! but with my father's phone (HTC Blackstone (HD)) as well as mine (HTC TYTN II). deleting the partnership does nothing! i found i have to link up my phone via the activesync cable , but this is a problem when im in a rush or something and i have to turn on the computer...
we both have wm 6.1 running on our devices maybe thats it?
