I'm using duttythroy 's rom now, and loving it. this is my second time using the touch cube, and i noticed you cant use your sim contacts in the cube, but on the htc home screen you can. is there a way to allow this?
I'm looking to answer this as well, please help!
Alright, well I figured it out man. In case others are wondering or stumble upon this thread in a search, you have to copy the contacts from the sim to the phone. Its very easy just go into Programs > SIM Manager > Menu > Select All > Save To Contacts
I have sim contacts on my cube and it works great.
I would also like to be able to add the contacts from the SIM card. I don't want to copy my contacts to the phone just to be able to add them on to the cube - there must be a way of adding them from the SIM card only. Does anybody have any ideas how to do this?
In my contacts I have 5 contacts with a icon similar to the sim card icon, with a lock on them.
The contacts have the name '<Unnamed>'
I do not know how these contacts got there in the first place. I do not have the option to delete/edit and the contacts are empty.
How do I get rid of them?
I have the same problem . they appeared after i installed the 6.1 rom. They appear to be the phone provider numbers (vodafone). They all have lcoks on them and i cant remove them either.
I have the same problem with my Orange TyTN II with Windows Mobile 6.1.
This is just one of the many, many reasons I despise Microsoft. They are trying to turn computers into something that they and other large corporations control instead of the paying customer. And as for Orange, well, it seems their management or software development team - or both! - are complete morons.
Can anyone give me a clue how to get rid of these annoying intrusions?

Yes, this are pre-set contacts on your SIM card. They are saved on your SIM by your service provider. The editing of the above registry key lets you at least hide the SIM contacts in your contact list. That does not mean they are no longer there, you just do not have to see them any longer.
I was able to delete them using SBSH's PocketBreeze. I just went to Contacts Tabs and it let me delete them.
Unnamed new contacts
I have a little problem and I don't know how to fix it.
I have contacts only on my mobile phone, on my sim card is empty-see contacts on sim card is disable.
When I got new call, from unknown person, I have info that I can add this contact to my list as a new or add to already exist. I want add as a new, so i'm writing all important info: name, last name,number... and new contact I see as a "unnamed". PLEASE .. help me fix it.
Ps. Phone HTC HD, WM 6.5 with manila 2.5 v 21.1.
Hello all,
When I am typing a contact name while writing a new text message,
it has somekind of auto-complete and it shows me contacts to select in order to send the message to.
I did the tweak which hides SIM contacts when navigating through poutlook but they are still there in the new text message interface.
Is there a way to not show SIM contacts in text message and emails too?
(I dont want to erase my SIM card).
thank you all.

no it doesnt.
the fiture of 'show sim contacts' under 'phone' is set to 'NO'.
I dont see any sim contacts in poutlook but the auto-complete in the sms section still uses contacts from sim.
maybe there is another tweak..
i have the same problem. Also, contacts retrieval only works when using T9 as input (no suggestion/search for contacts when u use any of the querty keyboards with T9 disabled)
Hi!
I get a message saying "Thank you for using STK services" everytime i switch on my mobile or everytime i change back from airline mode. this message then keeps on popping up everytime i receive or make a call. It keeps on popping up till i go to my service providers menu and close it by saying exit. can anyone help me to remove this problem?
My phone is HTC Touch Diamond and operating system is WM 6.1
My question seemed unnecessary. The solution is quite simple. just load the BSB tweaks on your phone. it shows you the status of STK services. turn it off
stk service problem
Hi!
using BSB tweaks for truning off stk services will turn off all the services and you will not be able to use any of the service provided by your carrier. The problem may have caused if this happens;
1. you use stk service, any one.
2. instead of selecting exit from menu, if you close the application using 'x'
3. you may start getting the problems of stk service message, everytime you restart the sim. one way of solving the problem is to visit every service provided by the carrier and exit from the service using exit from menu and not operating the 'x' button. at least my problem was solved because of this.

sms fail (Samsung Galaxy S on Virgin Mobile Australia)
I'm having the same problem. Thought it might have to do with installing and AutoKill app that would automatically kill programs on reboot.
Have you managed to fix yours yet?
fixed
Just rang up virgin and solved the issue.
Just needed to re add the Message centre number in the settings from inside the messenger program.
Virgins message centre number is +61411990010
