WM6.1 Professional(build 19209) RAMDisk-16MB Pagepool size-32MB for Hima

Friends,
WM6.1 ROM (build 19209) is finally out for testing. Though there is not much of distinguishable difference but they claim more stability and bug fixations. The size of the OS is increasing with every release of new build. The tailoring of those new builds to fit into the small ROM size of the Himalaya is definitely becoming a challenging task. Neverthless it is done.
The released ROM uses 32MB of pagepool and the RAMDisk is 16MB. You would like the speed of this ROM. With this the memory structure becomes as follows:--

One more thing I have understood by reading hundreds of thread on different sub-forums here, that there are three catagories of people working on ROMs:-
1. ROM builders... people who actually make the new builds for new devices (Most Difficult)
2. ROM porter... people who port the ROM from newer devices to old devices (Difficult)
3. ROM tailors... people who cut and paste the ported ROMs (very Less Difficult)

Do I have to flash the rom again?

Yes you will have to Re-flash the Rom
But there is an easy way..i created this prog only for those who were Noob Cookers
Instructions to change Splash Screen Easy :
Goto to ur Windows directory
locate a file called welcomehead.96.png
replace that file with any image you want
NOTE : Make sure the image format is .PNG and the size resoulution 240X320 or 320X320

What is new over 19199?
Can someone tell me what is new or improved over Build 19199 (6.1.1c16CS) ? The problems I have in that rom are,
1. Absence of a STK software,
2. Cell Broadcast not working (at least for me)
Are these bugs taken care of? What else is new?

I turned on channels 050, 010 & 063. but none of them were working as on wm2003. I still couldnt find a working STK (Sim Tool Kit) software to use my built in menu of the sim for mobile wallet & location based services... Are they solved in this release?

After flashing it is recommended to perform a hard reset. Scroll down for faq and version history.
No radio, ipl or spl included. Please use an appropriate spl before flashing this rom.
This rom comes as it is and is meant for those that like the rom as close to stock as possible. All Topaz packages, mostly untouched but slightly tweakt here and there. So you basically get a 98% Topaz port without additions. When you want a fully tweaked rom I recommend Topix.

FAQ
Q: How do I flash this rom?
First of all installl Hard-SPL from Cmonex. Read this thread carefully. Double check if the installation of Hard-SPL succeeded. Before flashing it is best to have a fully loaded battery.
When you downloaded the rom unpack the zip file and start CustomRUU.exe. It should be pretty self-explanatory. Don't panic. The flashing process and the first boot can take some time.
Q: How do I perform a hard reset?
Shut down the device. After that hold down VolUP + VolDown (simultaneously) and press the Power button once. Now a screen should appear asking you to restore the device to factory settings. Press VolUp to Confirm.
Q: I am having problems flashing the rom with CustomRUU.exe. Can I flash in another way?
You can try the official RUU for Blackstone to flash. Also flashing from SD card is an option. To flash from SD just rename ruu_signed.nbh to BLACIMG.nbh, copy it to the root of your SD card, and flash the rom from the tri-color screen by pressing the power button.
Q: I can rotate the screen by long-pressing the call button but how can I rotate it clockwise?
Using a Registry editor and edit HKLM/System/GDI/Rotation and change "LandScapeMode" from 1 to 4.
Q: How can I configure the softbuttons?
You can use Softkey Manager (blackstone mode) for that which you can find in Settings, or you can edit the registry:

Enable beam from the Comm Manager.

This is standard behaviour of CommManager. It will be enabled when you:
1. configured your carrier datasettings (typically done during system setting by "Connection Setup".
2. start a network connection e.g. by opening a webpage in Opera or PIE.
Once the connection is established you can terminate the data connection in CommManager.
Q: How can I get applications to rotate?
You can rotate the screen by long pressing the call button. See cerato's post which explains adding applications to the sensor whitelist for auto rotation.
Q: Google Maps isn't in English
Some versions of Google maps use the language depending on your regional settings.

No big difference besides the phonecanvas/dialer. Only the the rhodium dialer is a 10mb extra for functions I don't use (like conference call). The (current) rhodium manila still has some bugs.

I have tried all the Roms - Im a serial flasher!
This is by far the best, most stable and battery friendly that I have found.
I have a only applied a few personal tweaks for myself - everything just works.

Unfortunately this rom is protected – so not able to re-cook.

Activesync ever is backgrund running, i try to kill repllog.exe timechange notification but not works, with fdctaskmanager
Wifi original connected icon is not present, but i use brians icons and works fine.
Resuming, i think that you not must too much changes, maybe integration a flip application and neo's 3d drivers

Hi Edge, new version with activesync tweak is up. Because this rom uses the sensorSDK from Topaz flipit doesn't work. You can use one of the rotation tools that support the new sensor. You also have to add the following registry key:

Topix has more free program memory because it is tweaked more. Amongst others Opera doesn't run by default in Topix. Like I said, this is a Topaz port with a few tweaks for a better battery usage and speed. It still is a lot better then the original Topaz rom that only gives you 80mb free program memory or less. Most of it comes vanilla.

Taking the plunge and trying this ROM build now... will report back with usability and benchmarks
EDIT: uh.... looks nice, but app compatibility with older WM apps is screwed in this build - SPB benchmark wasn't rendering correctly in places. So either this ROM build is crap or WM 6.5 build 23025 is crap... or both. Anyways raw benchmark figures (sorry too lazy to format ).. pretty much same as what I got with Dutty's R9, nothing special.

have used most of the roms to date and found them to be very good
working without having to load cab after cab
windows 6.5 may be crap but this chap puts a lot of work into his roms and after trying a few others Ill put pdaviet roms at the top of my list to try.
I know Ill not need to read 101 pages of fix this and that to be able to use my phone to make a call.

ive played around with a few 6.5.x builds & the cabs in this post give something of a workaround.

actually already using that . it's not perfect but it works. But thanks for helping out! makes it a lot easier sometimes.

as we can just disable it and install other task manager.

also,i hope the battery icon can be same with the one on older megade.can wait it anymore

Yes the UC works - but I have quite a few cabs and the process is SLOW or hangs, even with multiple restarts and eventually Hard Resets
I ended up changing the folder name from Cabs to another so that it wouldn't work. Then installed my cabs manually.
The ROM is fast and so far no issues ....

free ram 74mb without touch flo, rom is very fast and stable no issues..
do us a favour.. pls give us a clean / lite rom once you release ur full rom
hope ram goes more than 74mb and also faster than overload..

ok, the problem is in email. Monx page dont send emails on some emails adress. But I need wm60 with more ram free for android development. If someone have it, please share it

No browser opens pages
Acknowledge the work and dedication ahmoosragab , after installing versions 6.5 and try browsing from Internet Explorer from the USB connections and GPRS tools, install Opera and perform various tests, it detects that Internet Explorer starts connecting but does not open the page , is blank.
Telling ahmoosragab if there is any explanation, clarification, bug or am I doing
any wrong step. Let you know that with all versions 6.5. The radio is updated with versions 6.1 perfect, but I would love to work with this great Rom.
Indicate that it does not work under "Favorites", gives an error of memory available, when the ROM is clean progranmas without running processes.

I just tried this ROM. It is absolutely stonking. I am definitely sticking with it now. I wasnt expecting thee to be much free memory available, but there is loads, over 40Mb. That is plenty for me to sync Office 2010 Outlook and Office files.

Is GPS enabled?
After flashing this WM 6.5 i don't see any GPS option. So i think that in this rom it's not possible to use gps...or is necessary to use other programs not installed in the rom?
Another question....but there aren't the wm sounds?
Someone has the link for the ROMeOS _SHIFT v1.07 | WM6.1 21054 PHONE + GPS OK because in the site of monx the download does'nt not work!!!

You can install a custom rom(6.5 Romeo) if you have update HardSPL

problems in rom
i have checked this rom
gps missing
phone part not working
during restart a hissing sound continues
phone hangs when used for call purpose
no speaker sound is heard
rest of thing works fine
