From my experience all WWE roms designed for the HTC Trinity brand will work whether posted in Germany or in Belguim or in timbaktoo. It is designed for the HTC unbranded trinity. Therefore I can carefully say it will work. Unless a more experienced person here can smack me on my head and tell me to jump off a cliff if I am wrong lol.

If somebody has a Dangaard device… He can check the official Dangaard web site ROM upgrade.

I said for Belgians because the download site will check for a Belgian IMEI. As it is a Dangaard-website, it might be available on other Dangaard-sites too.
There should be a Dutch and French language version also, but as I have an English language device I cannot see them.

I registered and ran my IMEI and it will not allow download; probably because it's a UK CID. I guess we'll have to wait until someone with a Belgian IMEI downloads the ROM or until the UK version comes out.

I'm sure that this WWE rom will work. However the rom version looks lower than the latest Dopod rom, you could just upgrade the existing Dopod rom with the new 1.38 radio.

He/she asked for an original o2 rom ,so why ask for wm6 or cooked roms, why not try searching? Then you will find out that NOBODY has released a wm6 rom for the Alpine

The qtek2020 is a Himalaya NOT an Alpine, your ROM will either not install or will brick the device.

If any one has the shipped 1.14.405.3 WWE ROM can they please post it. I know the orange rom is the same but i dont trust orange to have left it as HTC made it. So if anyone has dumped the original ROM fromt here unlocked phone I would be most grateful

ROM version related to GPS issues?
As an effing noob here... I'm trying to track down why I cant use the aGPS built into my Touch HD... Google Maps and Windows Live Mobile both cannot use the internal GPS, even after hard-setting to COM4, 4800 baud, etc.
My ROM is 1.14.405.3 (22273) WWE... does this matter or would the Radio version be needed?
Just trying to track down why I cant use the GPS... and cant seem to find any advice anywhere. I'm using this phone in the US, bought from the UK unlocked...

Erm I flashed Laurentius26's fantastic V2 ROM then thought oops - supposing I need to return the phone I may have to have the original ROM in it

ok so, with this serial HT851KD22894 you can download from the australian htc site only the version 1.18.707.3 (2009-01-22 ) so that it's the latest....... in this case the wiki page must be updated.

it is the 1-22-2009 asia rom update. some cooked roms already included the core OS from this update.

1.21.841.1 Rom
This rom does exist this is the telstra branded rom when you use the correct serial the htc will allow you to download it their link will stat 1.18 but the file that it down loads is the above rom version this rom is customised for telstra which is the only carrier in australia to be selling the HD This is the version with the 850 umt band as this is the NextG Network the wiki is a link to the share on rapid share so can download from their as for the (38850) I did not look at this when i had it loaded on phone.

thanks what is the date of this ROM? the radio is 1.13.25.24 seems it is one version older that the latest on that that has radio: 1.14.25.24
well this is the original shipped rom that htc released for public. just got it this morning when i was in office. anyway about the older radio rom i think its because htc thinks that its much appropirate/stable compared to the newer ones that is why they make it that way

BTW, when will it be released "officially"? i cant find it on HTC AP/SEA website yet..it been some time since you upload the ROM but HTC seem to be taking forever to make it available officially even though the ROM is ready?

thanks, but if i'm not mistaken starhub should be 1.59.723.0 as the previous ROM is 1.18.723.3...
once the latest ROM is out, i can flash to cooked ROM as i hate to downgrade back to old SPL just to claim warranty...

well you just have to flash it with HSPL i guess and try it. anyway i dont have a starhub unit on hand cant try.
@kayk you can try and walk in to the service center in singapore and ask them to do a rom upgrade for your device. well be sure to "un" HSPL your device if you wanna do so.

actually... nothing happens. it just lacks the application that starhub firmware came along. well for me i prefer non telco tied devices.

but i think the CID check will state something like "This ROM is not for your device" or something like that, thus stopping you from flashing that ROM...
I dont like the Starhub logo @ internet tab and on the top curtain...
i prefer to flash using USPL way, this way i dont have to "un" HSPL when i need to claim warranty...not to mention downgrade SPL 1.56 --> SPL1.14
