Different today screens?

I know this is a bit of an odd question, but is there a way to have two different today screens on the Tilt, one for when the keyboard is closed and one for when its open?
I want this because i dont like having to scroll down on the little scroll bar to access the programs below when the key board is open.

is there a program or a setting that could do this?
And to refrain from posting 2 threads, is there a way to schedule your phones ring volume? like every week day from Time A to time B its vibrate and the rest its not?

I think the answer is yes, and yes.
I'm pretty sure the phone uses different pic files when changing resolution upon opening the Tilt. I don't know of a program to set it but I bet there is one. I'm surprised no one has helped on that yet. Hang in there.
There are several programs to set the phone volume at a schedule. This is called a "phone profile". PocketZen Phone and SPB Phone Suite are two examples.

If you use Resco Picture Viewer and set one picture as a wallpaper when on portrait mode, and then another when you're on landscape mode, you'll get two different wallpapers.
If anyone knows of another method I would like to know aswell.

Ok pizzaguy wants 2 diferant screens on slide open and closed. Not only change the wallpaper (background). Well pizzaguy I hope someone can help u because then they would also be helping me.... I want the same thing. Later dude.....

I think the only solution is Wisbar Advance Desktop.
That can create a page for portrait and one for landscape.

There is a program from a company called Netwasp, Thememaker M, that allows you to make WM6 themes with a portrait and landscape Graphic that are different. I'm using it to make themes for my Tilt, and it works great

I use PhoneWeaver from http://www.SBSH.net for this, and love it. I have it set up to be on vibrate during normal business hours, quite after I put my daughter down to bed, silent at night while I'm sleeping, and loud rest of the time. Everything can be completely scheduled based on time/days. You can also set up different alerts for Phone/Mail/SMS/etc. based on these profiles as well. The only issues that I have come across is that it doesn't turn Wifi off correctly, but I think there is a work-around for this.

help with WM 6.1 messaging

I am using HTC TyTN II and with WM 6.1, my SMS goes like chat type. wherein when somebody give me an SMS and then I read it, then I replied, then he SMS back, all the messages, even my reply to the same sender are sorted out in one message. so when I need a message to find in a specific date, I have to find the person's name, when I opened it, all of his messgaes are there, so I need to find the date on that sorted out message (just like in a chat message). can I change the settings of the SMS to like a normal SMS messgae where they are not sorted out as per sender? I have spent the whole night just looking at the settings but to no avail, I couldn't find the settings. anyone?

Hi...you will need to get Kaiser Tweaks to change settings . It has a settting which disables Threaded messaging.....Hope this helps!

When I checked the KaiserTweak post (as of Dec.9, the latest one i think) there's no option for messaging that disables Thread messaging. The one I've seen is about Sent Notification. Can somebody correct me on this one? Is there a more recent update on the KaiserTweak? Thanks!

You will have to find the latest version of Kaiser Tweaks...I have it on my Tilt and it works.

yeah! I found the latest Kaiser EXE, then also look for the latest Kaiser XML file. put them into one folder, overwriting the Kaiser XML previous to a new Kaiser XML latest. Put the folder into your device then run the kaiser exe. that will solve the problem and the option for threaded messaging can be disabled. thanks for all your help!

Please help me.. i've run the KaiserTweak but there's no option to disable the Threaded SMS.. the only option is to tweak the Sent Notifications.. TIA

[Q] My diamond has extra "+" icons in "Programs" tab.

First, I would like to begin by saying I have tried searching on both Google, and using the forum search provided here. If I missed something, please lead me in the right direction.
I have an HTC Touch Diamond in Canada from Telus. I have had it for about a month, and I must admit, it's beautiful! Anyways, I was flipping over to my Programs tab, and decided I was going to add a program to one of the tabs. I flicked up, and up came the next 9 "+" icons. (total of 18 icons, correct?). So I add the application to the icon, and it returns me to the programs tab. I scroll down, and what's this? I have an extra "+" tab (Total of 19 now). Each time after adding an application, another appears. Now, you might think this could be cool, and useful, but first off, you can't add any program shortcuts to these extra "+" icons... if you click on them, it comes up with the Add Program thing, and if you click on it, it returns to the program's tab, without the program. Secondly, they cannot be removed. If you delete one of the Program shortcuts that you added, the extra one does not be removed. It just stays there, and its quite annoying.
After playing around with the TouchFlo 3d for some time, it seemed to fix itself for a little bit, but as soon as I tried to add a shortcut, they added themselves again. A soft reset does not solve, and I really don't want to do a hard reset. I have .NET framework 3.5 installed, and I have installed a few applications (only after reading reviews, mostly coming from these forums, other than google maps). I have ROM version: 1.06.661.1.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Easy fix. You need to delete a few registry keys.
Goto HKLM-->software-->HTC-->Manilla-->ProgramLauncher
You should only have number 0-17 (total 18). Delete anything greater than that e.g. 18, 19 etc.

What a lot of people would want to know though, is there a way to actually add the extra icons and use them? It seems by editing the registry you can add as many as you want, but it seems to be impossible to use them. Being able to have more programs on this tab would be very useful!

Hmm... I never thought of that!
I'm sure it wouldn't be all that hard... I am not really a wiz with windows mobile, as I just picked this phone up about a month ago (my first windows mobile device owned), so I probably won't be able to figure it out, but if there's anybody who wants to try, that would be awesome!

[Q] Help with nonsense

Samsung galaxy s and android together is a nonsense
Subject volume
now if i want to lower the ring tone down when i am in office it works simple and easy
but what stupid it is my sms ring is still like a loudspeaker, i have to manually go inside setting and do the volume control. completely nonsense.
after office i put my phone on high but i usually forget to go inside tweak things and do the sms volume up and high ( i missed so many imp text)
and in silent mode if i try to play some game it will have music to start with because the media volume is again different level needs another correction there...
such small things which are very imp and even after 4yrs of android no luck....
come on if i want to link a contact i want to type and search a name and do it quick rather i scroll all the names.
Samsung Android what nonsense... CAN SOME ONE HELP ME & THEM UNDERSTAND
and there are so many such things... to much to type may be someday later .....

You could also try an app called Quick Profiles - works well and you can create your own custom profiles as you see fit.

Oh thanks ......i like the audio widget but i must give this a try since the audio widget makes my slow phone run even slower......
i read it some where samsung galaxy s was the fastest phone...... why is the ram/rom part always been used more then 70 %..........

I am driven by tech and speed i hate slow and sloppy things...... i mean this is a wonderful phone better then all my previous phones I phone 3g, E72, bold 9700 .......
but the truth is it is still not perfect it lacks so many details and at times the response is so very slow.
I am waiting desperately for FROYO ...........

Windows Phone 7 lockscreen for 6.5.x

I found this great lockscreen today, but there were some things which bothered me, like the built-in background, so I made my personalized version of it.

It's very sililar to the original lockscreen, but this is what I changed:
-removed built-in background, so you can choose your own
-cleaned up code and
-moved the clock and appointment, clock and appointment also disappear now when showing the seperate notifications to make room
-3 colors, I could make some more on request (not too many... )

Now when you click on the unlock button to show the notifications, only the appointment disappears, and the notifications show up under the time and date. Maybe there is not enough place for all the four notifications at once, but I have never had this yet, so it shouldn't be a problem.

This looks awesome, however, after installing it, I do not get your lock screen. In fact, I get the old school WM6.1 lock screen with just the unlock button.
I'm running a Touch Pro 2, and I know there are sometimes some crazy HTC customizations.
Would you be able to list the registry entries you make and maybe the lock screen image files/directions so I could manually place them?
Sadly, after installing it, and then uninstalling it, I now no longer have the 6.5 lockscreen back, either.
But I'd rather switch to yours anyway.

First of all, sorry for the late respone, and thank you for your intrest.
I don't exactly know why it shows up the winmo 6 lockscreen. Which version of windows mobile are you using, 6.5, or 6.5.3? Maybe I am using some property for the auto-hide of the appointment wich only works on 6.5.3...
But I understand what went wrond when uninstalling: on installation, it simply overwrites the existing locksreenfiles, and there is no back-up (I don't even know if it's possible to make back-ups with cabs, if somebody knows, please tell me). So on unistallation, your entire lockscreen is gone I have made a cab to reinstall the htc lockscreen meanwhile.
