X1a 7201A now with VGA 30fps video recording - Touch Pro, Fuze Themes and Apps

Folks,
just noticed on PPCNow that the Xperia has a new ROM with VGA @ 30fps recording on the Qualcomm 7201A What are the chances we'll be able to port this to our TPro?? Or am I just building up flase hopes

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=451461

In the previous post, those drivers arent working properly and if the new drivers have vga @ 30fps then we need the drivers from the new rom to work

If they're really getting 30fps VGA on the 7201A, I don't see why we shouldn't be able to

The MSM7201A chipset limits video recordings to QVGA resolution (320 x 240 pixels) and up to 24 frames per second video, whereas the MSM7200A chipset supports VGA resolution (640 x 480 pixels) video recording at up to 30 frames per second.

No 320 x 240 on Video Record

Hello,
I have an XDA II with WM6.1
I have come across a few problems with the camera,
I have found out that with WM6 you cannot record at 320 x 240, Options are :
PC - (240 x 180)
PC (186 x 96)
MMS (160 x 120)
MMS (176 x 144)
There is no 320 x 240, anyway to fix this? as XDA II is capable of recording video at that resolution, back when I had WM2003SE
Also after viewing playback after recording, the first 3 seconds of the video seem to be very jerky, at about 1 frame per second, then it begins to go faster.
I have noticed on WM6.1 recording and pictures seem more granier than on WM2003, I read on another thread someone desribing it as "ALL CRAP", but he did not have a XDA 2 like me.

Software for better video capture?

Hi there, does anyone know of any softare that would enhance video capture resolution (upto 640x480 for example?) as I know the camera hardware supports up to 3M, but is this technically possible or does this limitation of only QVGA video have to do with the absence of proper video drivers?
HTC would have to release the drivers for the camera to be able to process that high a resolution.

[Q] timeshift burst with higher resolution

Hi guys,
I think i have very intresting question to all devs. Timeshift burst make 61 photos in 2 seconds in resolution 1920x1080. It's exactly the same as recording in resolution 1080p.
Since we are able to record in 4k do you think that there would be option, to change resolution to 3840x2160? 4k recording is also 30fps which means that it record 60 "photos" on 2 seconds.
Or maybe we can do 120 photos in 1080p resolution since we are able to record 1080p in 60fps?
I hope that you get it what i mean

130 fps video possible?

As is described for Snapdragon 636, 120 fps 1080p video is possible. Will installing a custom rom enable this or is it hardware locked kindof?

Slow motion videos

Ok, so I've had my Mi8 for over a year now and I love this phone very much.
I still think its camera is one of the best out there and I've been thinking about using its slow motion video recording for some scientific projects, but here's the catch: I'd like to use it's 1080p 240 FPS footage, though interpolated through my desktop PC, which has a decent amount of powerful hardware (Ryzen 5 2600, 16Gb, GTX970), to 480 or 960 FPS. I don't really like the effect that the phone's interpolated 960 FPS has and I'd also like to record more than a few seconds maybe one or two minutes which in 240 FPS is possible.
Well, every time I try to open the video file in an editor I get an error saying that the video is incompatible or corrupt (I've tried this in both smartphone apps and PC: Kinemaster and Premiere, although only the latter can interpolate). But in every case I could open the video in the phone and in the PCs video playback software (VLC and MPC) normally. So I was wondering if it'd be possible to convert the file to a compatible format for interpolation. In this case, I think the conversion NEEDS to maintain the framerates. Correct me if I'm wrong though, I've never tried this before and have no prior experience with these softwares (video conversion, editing, etc.).
