After i initialized the sim card provided by my phone company, it automatically installed some application on my cell phone and occupied many shortcut spaces in the "Program" tab.
I want remove some of the shortcuts coz the application is not useful, but it will display a lock icon and seems the shortcut is locked, so i cannot remove the shortcut. Even after I unistalled the application, the shortcut still cannot be removed.
Hey bros, any solutions? im appreciated!
Use Diamond TF3D config (from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=405749) to disable the lock.

Hey guys, I know this is probably easier then i am making it out to be but I have been trying and trying to figure out how to make my Omap overclock when i run certain applications. Is there a way to know what names to use for what applications? Does it need to have the full name?
Example : I want my clock to be at 245 or 260 when running Iguidance, or Map4PDA. I have tried just typing in iGuidance and setting the clock to 245, but it doesn't seem to run any faster. I have also tried Map4PDA and nothing happened. Is there a specific way this has to be done?
Thanx ahead of time, and please no burning!!! Just trying to find out how to do this.
(Side Note : DOWNLOAD THE NEW 3.3 V2 rom!!!!! Best rom ever, and can only get better!!!!!!!! MUCH THANX!!!!!
if you open the app that you want to change the CPU speed for, then either minimise it or close it so that you can see the desktop then tap and hold the battery icon on the battery status plugin a menue will pop up, then tap where it says "Add to Appl.-list" it will show you the last ap..just click it and it will be put into the Omap Apps tab and you can adjust the speed from there.
tried
I started up my Iguidance program and then minimized it and did whsat you said, yet i have no option of " Add to app Lst" the only options i have are . .
In order from top to bottom. . .
Options
Show rows
Set Cpuspeed
On wakeup
Set last speed

The Latest Version (BETA) of BatteryStatus allows App-Based Overclocking! Download it here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=270751&highlight=batterystatus
Scroll down and find the link for BatteryStatusExt.1.04.beta2.CAB. Install it. Then just go into options to the "App Based Overclocking" tab, or something like that.

you need to make sure you go to the Omap Apps tab and have a check in the " Application based overclocking" box for it to show up

I have done that, and it still doesn't work. I am downloading the beta2 right now thank you for the link texas.
I ju8st tried the link and installed, and BAM, it works now. Thank you VERY VERY MUCH!!!!! My Map4PDA is working much much faster, and my iGuidance is speedy as ever!!!
I use the Iguidance for turn by turn directions, and then i use the Map4PDA for traffic jams if i hit one.
(iGuidance doesn't have any overlay of the traffic. If anyone knows of a GPS program with turn by turn directions and voice promts with traffic included, please do tell! Would be much easier to do it that way then to have to switch between the two when i encounter trafrfic jams. Thanx guys)
sorry....i have a bunch of cabs that i install whenever i put a new rom in my phone and i forgot that the new beta battery status was one of them..i thought it was the same as on this rom..sorry bout that lol

I have just updated to WM6.1 by the officaly HTC Update
I cant get it work that i have the clock in the taskbar not just on the todayscreen. It should be visible also if a program is in focus
thankx scilor
search for and download advanced config. In this prog is an option to have the clock displayed in the titlebar at all times
Where can i find it?
use the search function at the top of the page
I dont mean The Tool i have got it but i cant find the Option in it
@eidt
The option doesnt work
after you have set the option up you will need to soft reset your phone for this it take effect
additionally you can go into settings>system>clocks & alarms>more then select display clock in title bar

After installing Pocket controller an icon is place in today screen to change settings. The problem is I cannot access the settings dialog where there is the option of removing that icon. When I tap on it nothing happens.
Also there is created an acess to program settings in settings menu, but occurs the same, when tapping on it nothing happens.
The program works fine except of this. I want to remove that icon because it ocuppies one complete line of today screen. I've tried looking in registry but did not find any string or value to hide that icon. Tested with pocket controller pro versions 6.01, 6.0, 5,7... and always the same.
I had the same problem so I started using My Mobiler. It's free and does the job.

Any other solution apart from roming? Maybe a registry edit?
Here is a Regfile to switch the Trayicon off.

It worked!!!!
The strings added were
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Apps\SOTI\PocketController]
"enabletray"="OFF"
"KioskAdmin"="0"
"Log"="0"
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Apps\SOTI\PocketController\Video]
"enabletray"="OFF"
"Install"="\\Windows"
"Log"="0"
Now one only issue to be solved. When tapping pocket controller in settings menu nothing happens and you cannot access to progrma options.
Hello all,
I am facing a problem with my diamond, actually the problem is with the Wktask application:
there are some application which i want them to be run in the background without being shown in the taskbar, this works great by keeping pressed on the application bar in the task bar, and then choose "hide always" in the menu.
the problem is with the security lock of the WM, when i keep pressed on the application's name in the taskbar nothing happend, i want to tell the Wktask to always hide it when it is active in order to be able to check the icons in the taskbar even when the lock (password) app is active.
does anyone have noticed this, do u have any clue how to fix this?
Same problem here!
i solved that problem by giving wktask the name of the password window "Password" but then it seems to crash after i put in my password.
so its not a viable solution
but i would appreciate if somebody solved this problem
Hi there,
Maybe this is a weird question but, is it possible to add new apps shortcuts to the android menu? I have installed (for example) few of the new Good Lock 2019 apps and i know how to run them and how to create shortcuts in the homescreen but i would like to add the apps to the android apps menu, is it possible by using any app or not?
Thanks in advance!

I've done the same thing today... Installed first all the new good lock apps for pie that I needed and then installed activity manager (André De Sousa developer... said this for a lot of apps with the same name) from the play store to make shortcut launchers on my home. Everything works on pie.
If there's something wired, this is the good lock app itselfe working only in a few countries....because good lock is the real app that launches the others that are meant to be activities and not apps by themselves.
Tasker. New task - plug in - secure settings - Actions - launch activity. Export through app factory. Takes one minute.
