I just upgraded my ROM to that Duttys WM6 version and (finally) finished installing all the programs that I lost in the process (like S2U2; KaiserTweak; etc...). I began to set up my launcher with the programs that I had on it before, one of which was KaiserTweak. However, when selecting KaiserTweak, my finger slipped and I accidentally selected the XML file. Inatantly, my tilt soft-reset itself, and now whenever I try to even click on the launcher icon on HTC home, my tilt will soft reset. What can I do?
Much thanks in advance!!

I have a registered version of the FTouchSL 2.5 and I am running Dutty's April 9th release of WM 6.1 on my AT&T Tilt. I installed the FTouchSL and copied SCLPC++ to the /Application Data folder. I can get SCLPC++ working with FTouchSL 2.5. However, after couple of scrolls, I noticed couple of program icons would start to repeat itself in the Start Menu. I checked the process but found these programs were not running at all. Interestingly enough, the Start menu will continuously to grow because these programs kept repeating and the Start menu will eventually turning into a white wash out. Disable FTouchSL, uninstall FTouchSL, removing SCLPC+++, Soft reset or hard reset will not correct this problem. I had to "Clear Storage" to resolve this problem.
Without installing FTouchSL, I can run SCLPC++.exe and interact with the cube with no troubles. So it seems that the FTouchSL is the issue.
Does anyone else have the similar problem? Is this a known compatibility issue between the FTouchSL 2.5 and the WM 6.1?
I think the problem is with SCLPC++, as I had similar wackiness with the start menu, FTouchSL 2.3, and the 4/2 duttys. I didn't have the issue until I installed the cube.
My solution was to switch to flash version of Slither's cube...haven't had the problem since.

Thanks for your input! Going back to the flash version would be my last resort as well. However, the flash version of the cube does not handle landscape mode well.
I envy the guys who can write beautiful and functional programs in C++!

Same here I had the same issue. I paid for the FTouchSL 2.3 ,used the SCLPC++ experienced some problems and was incredibly slow and unresponsive. Went to flash version and eventually to Poorly Duck's Vista cube.
The issue could be with the SCLPC++, FTouchSL or the combination of the two. Without FTouchSL installed, I was able to call it up directly (SCLPC++.exe). I tried couple of scrolls and clicked on a few unassigned buttons and the Start menu began to act all strange now. However, I was able to do a soft reset to get it all working. Previously, I had to "Clear Storage."
Oh well... at least I am not the only one who has this problem.

I have the same problem it started imediately after installing "HTC Enlarge Start Menu.cab" there must be some way of reversing this installation altough Im not experienced enough or have an indepth knowlege of the phone registery to fix it.
I had FTouchSL and copied SCLPC++ running nicely for two weeks with no start menu probs. Doing a clear storage scares me after the time i took to set the phone.
Any one got any ideas about removing the HTC Enlarge Start Menu.
Whoa Whoa Whoa...don't go back to the Flash Version....!!!!!! Do this first!!!!
There is a known bug in SCLPC++ and it has to do with not having programs assigned. If you use the SCLPC++ Configurator 2 it will make things easier. First make sure you have CallHistory.exe in your windows directory.
THen using the Configurator make sure you have all the buttons assigned to something. Doesn't matter what, but that they are installed. Once you do this and do a soft reset your start menu problems will stop!!!!
Try this first, I had the same problems, and did some researching and searching and was able to find out this is what is causing the problems.

You could always download Sprite Backup (ATT Version) and make a back up of your phone if you do not want to do a full reset. As long as you are putting the same ROM on the phone, it will make a back up of your registry and all your programs. Will only need to probably insert your serial numbers for your registered programs

Thanks for advice. Fixed by assigning links to all the buttons, soft reset and problem magically disappears. By the way I was mistaken it was not SCLPC++ I had running but UNO's SCLPF 1.62. and i cannot locate Callhistory.exe but have managed to link to it in the configurator.
Now its fixed I will take ryncppr's advice and backup my phone
Thanks
Hi everyone,
In order to install SPB Mobile Shell 2, to test, I wanted to prevent TF3D from launching at each startup. I know there is a way ot desactivate it but will it remove the program from the memory ?
Does anyone has an idea ? I took a look on google but did not see anything.
Thanks for your help.
Start>Settings>Today>Elements>untick TF3D......it´s just another today plugin. BTW TF3D runs fine with MS2.1 on my Diamond.
Nevertheless I have TF3D now disabled - to much of a memory hog. Back to PocketBreeze, BatteryStatus and SPB PhoneSuite together with MS2.1.

Do this to completely avoid TF3D
1. Hard Reset your Diamond (backup before of course)
2. After setting Time Zone and PIN, you see the "3 second" warning for installing HTC apps. Hit the RED soft reset button before the end of the 3 seconds to reboot. After reboot, you now have a clean WM6.1 without TF3D.
X. To bring back TF3D, just do another Hard Reset and let the TF3D install.
I do this myself and have clean WM6.1 with SPB Mobile Shell 2.1
Now I don't have the Blue-Tooth problem (due to TF3D Music Player)
And seems more memory to use than with TF3D

Oki, It seems a little bit hardcore but why not, I will try this.
Thanks for your help
Hi, i just got my diamond yesterday it hanged because i am a newbie and tried several things i do not understand and it suddenly hanged.
I tried the reset it by the small red button, and everthing seems to work fine. Howerever i am now not able to see the Big Digital Clock on the Home page. Pls.. advise on what to do.
I am thinking of doing a hard reset, but i do not know how... What are the risks on doing this and how to do it correctly.
Thank you...
What do you see instead? Nothing? Small clock? Bit more info would be useful....
I thought I downloaded and installed Diamond TF3D Config program. It's the one that you can change the tabs on the home page, add and delete tabs, right?
Well, it seems it was slowing down my setup so I tried to delete it several ways and each time it's still there.
So tonight, I came home and did a hard reset. Settings - clear programs - 1234
That does a hard reset, right?
Well, it redoes everything and guess what, the Diamond TF3D Config
program is STILL there....
Am I missing something?
FWIW, I'm using Dutty's 1.4 version ROM
Thanks,
Mark
That is indeed a hard reset. It might be a part of the customizations and to get rid of that, do a soft reset right before the customizations initialize.
Try going to settings/today/items/unclick Touch flo 3D
If you haven't tried it....
Will
I used Dutty's 2.2 ROM and the programme comes pre-installed as part of Dutty's ROM it seems. Using the advice above about soft-resetting before it installs the customisations should work (?) but then you won't have any of the other awesome apps Dutty pre-loads.
Also, I can;t say i have noticed the TF3D config affecting speed (when tried on my stock ROM) especially when the Advanced Configuration tweaks are applied.
Just my thoughts
touchflo ain't working anymore i just get a message of 'tape here to launch touchflo' and if i tap it says luanching touchflo for about 5 sec and then it switches back to 'tap here to luanch touchflo'
i can still run htc home.
it happenend after installing a skin ''pcarvalho TF2D Digital Clock.cab''
even if i try to install a new skin with m2dc nothing happens.
so the question is how do i get touchflo to work again????
i fixed it already by just deleting the skin
Me also facing the almost same prob here..but after 'tap' about 5 sec touchflow theme come back alive..the problem is it happen everytime. it almost like every 2 hour once. FYI I'm using standard ROM provided HTC website..hehe..
I too had this problem recently. It happened when I installed my backup settings from M2DC after flashing a new ROM. The new ROM had a more up to date vertion of M2D in it, so I can only assume that is causing the issue.
It only happens when I try and restore an old settings file, not when I change icons etc - so does that mean it's the xml....?
I'm facing the same problem everything is completely fine until i restore my backup .. well i'm using the htc rom also that the htc home runs fine on it...
i had a skin installed,i.e a cab file.earlier i installed skins on my viva(opal)without any error but now it shows 'Tap Here to launch touchflo' and then even after tapping nothing happens..the phone just shows 'initialising touchflo' message and then again says 'tap here....'.any1 have a solution for this.pls help.
so do u want the touch flow or not?
ya of course i want the touchflo its so cool.pls sum1 help.
Solution:Tap Here to launch touchflo error
If you have M2D customizer, just open it & go to Launcher tab then change settings to Number of Columns: Three and Number of Rows: Six. Apply and ok.
One Solution
Another solution is....well let me change the course of thought...theres a new today screen plug-in that strikes a similar look to TouchFlo but with a cooler look Check it out.
