Is there any program that can create and view 3D Photo taken by the Touch Pro? Somethings similiar to VR Hologram but view Picture instead of Hologram.
Hey, I was thinking of this too! This would be awesome for panorama photos. Anyone seen anything like this?
It could be like the stadium photo shown about 3-1/2 minutes into this vid, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jd3-eiid-Uw
Any devs up for the challenge?

Imagine viewing a photo in HTC Album that is zoomed in so that the border of the photo is outside the frame of the screen. Then instead of dragging you finger to pan around, you would just tilt the phone.
The photos are not 3d, but rather the photo is placed in a virtual 3d space. If you have seen the diamond hologram or VR hologram program and watch the video linked above, you will get the idea.
There could still be a standard full screen view, but when zoomed in, it would allow this type of panning.
Yeah, that's what I mean as well. But I want to make it for the Photo (portrait, my pets, even BF/GF)
Create 3D Images out of 2D Pictures
I think something like this is what you are talking about.
Create 3D Images out of 2D Pictures
Where it would take the image, create a "perspective model"? and then wrap the image as a texture around the model. Not sure if this code allows for live navigation around the image, going to check it now. Thanks for the inspiration to take a look at this either way.
Hi,
Does anyone know how I can print off a panoramic picture taken with the Diamond? I have some that I need to give to a loved one but when I print at home all I get is the middle section...
All help appreciated,
Sam.
what are you printing them with?
I'm running Vista Ultimate x64, and it handles panoramic pictures fine with it's built-in photo printing program.
might not be scaling it to fit the page then

I'm believe I'm looking for a slideshow photo viewing app. Let me explain, I have a project where I need to display information digitally and without any maintenance or power. I figured e-ink is the best technology and if I can find a slideshow program I can rotate the images (which contain graphical information) every few minutes and the battery life should last for days.
Another approach might be converting the images to a PDF document. How do you then automatically rotate through the pages of that PDF document?
Appreciate any suggestions

To rotate simply double click image files in Windows on a PC, rotate buttons at bottom: auto saves.
Best image viewer for android is Quickpic which most replace troublesome default Gallery with, does slideshow and image view settings usually has option to rotate to match aspect if not rotating & saving manually.

Hi there,
When faced with the task of factory resetting my p20 pro, I remembered that I have taken many photos with the apature setting. I want to make sure that I don’t lose the depth information on the photo (the huawei gallery app recognizes that the photo was taken with apature and then let’s you adjust the strength of the bokeh effect and focus point, then saving your results as a new photo). I have some questions about this I was hoping you guys could help me with:
1. As far as I understand, the depth map is encoded into the meta data of the photo - no extra files. Is this correct?
2. Is the depth map a standard or a Huawei own version? Ie. could I reapply the bokeh effect with third party software (not the type that uses a 2d photo, the type that uses the actual depth map)?
3. I back up all my photos to google photos. Is it then enough to wipe the phone with the google photos backup as my only source? Would those photos contain the depth map and if so, how can I then edit the photo using the depth map like in huawei’s gallery app?
4. If not, what are my options to keep the apature photos with the depth map for use after the factory reset?
Many thanks for any help you guys can give!
Most simple thing you could do is to copy one image to PC, then delete the original one from the device and then copy&paste the picture from PC back to the phone gallery and try if aperture (bokeh) works.
