I have a volume booster for when I'm using my wired headphones, but not sure if such a .cab exists for boosting the volume for when I'm using my S9 BT headset.
Thanks!
By boosting volume, I'm guessing you mean the bass/treble? If so, SRS WOW works really well. tvos has a great thread on it:

For boosting actual volume levels, Schaps Advanced Configuration tool should work. If you don't already have it: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=418151

Yeah, I was talking about actual volume level. I have AC, and I'm assuming you're talking about the HTC AUdio Manager setting? If so, I alreay had the Music Player volume at 100. I'm not seeing any other settings that would apply to the volume.

i was reading another thread from a user who was talking about low volume for a2dp. He did notice something significant though..mps and wma are quieter compared to wav files. I was curious and tested and indeed he was right. could their be some dll or file which did something like some software do and normalize tracks i.e make them sound the same. As a consequence volume of tracks decreases. This is speculative but if this restriction file applied i would like to remove or disable. any ideas anyone
You can convert all you're files to mp3 and then use mp3gain for normalizing the volume off all you're files.
When using A2DP, tap the speaker icon on the today screen titlebar and bump up the left slider
Tapping the icon does nothing on my ATT Tilt.

Has anyone found a way to raise the max volume over A2DP?
i noticed this little inconvenience also when using a2dp. even with the slider set all up the volume is still not as loud as it would be in my wizard and hermes.
I'd love higher volume to, especially when i'm on the bus.
Just got a nokia BH-211 bluetooth headset, and the sound is *very* low in it (it's unit controlled).. So I was wondering if anyone knows of a app that can boost the sound a bit? The headset is useless outside/at work with the volume gained now..
have you tried increasing the volume on your diamond?
Has anyone found a decent solution for the low volume issue when using a headset on mt3g? I've tried all the meltus audio files but the sound ends up way too distorted. Its loud but it sounds like ****. The DSPManager on CM6r3 helps slightly but not enough. All I want is louder max volume when using a headset.

I am using Chromers 4.4 rom with Meltus audio files v2r2 and "headset boost +in call volume 1". I turned off the DSP thing. It made it all distorted.
I hope this helps, I know you said you tried the files.
I don't know if it's ROM related or not but I don't remember having this problem previously. I'll give the settings you mentioned a try though.

Any setting for the DSPManager for G1
Dear all,
I run the stock firmware and like to listen to light music at low volume using a headset. However, the lowest volume is quite high.
Is there some way to decrease it even further without muting it?
Best,
Hindman
As a workaround when using VLC, one can use the built-in equilizer of VLC to decrease the volume.
Unfortunately, the system's equilizer does not provide such good result.
The volume on the output is actually lower than on the Xperia S I replaced with the Z3C. You might not have adjusted the correct volume setting - check Under Settings -> Sound -> Volumes -> Music, video, games & other media.
Toggling the rocker buttons on the sides actually changes the main volume control. Changing the specific media volume setting should resolve the issue for you unless you are using an external amplifier with very high gain.

I should clarify, that I'm using the noise cancelling headset.
Unfortunately, using the volume slider you mentioned does not allow to decrease the volume further.
When my phone is connected via Bluetooth to my car's hands-free kit, some audio could do with being made a little louder.
For example the navigation prompts from Google Maps are plenty loud enough, but some audio-book MP3s played via MD Player and phone call audio could do with being a bit louder.
I have the volume on the Note 8 and the hands-free kit on maximum.
Is there a way I can apply an audio boost when connected to that particular Bluetooth device (or have it controlled via Tasker)?
There seem to be lots of audio boost/control apps in the Playstore, but many seem to allow control of volume for a device without the ability to boost the volume above "normal".
I tried "Precise Volume (+EQ/Booster)", but the boost function didn't seem to make any difference.
If it makes any difference, I'm using Android Auto when connected to the car.
Bump - Anyone?
the only app in the play store that I have found that actually boosts the volume on this phone without being rooted is one called "volume Booster Goodev"
be careful, though, as it can really crank the volume up..
Thanks for that .... had been looking for a volume boost on the headphone out without rooting and this seems to do the job perfectly.
