As promished, the french version of my rom. Cab install is working, and opera is removed on popular demand. Got usbtools, and taskmanager, even if the icon is not here now. Exe is in windows folder.
This one also has d3d software dll linked.

yes
again a big thanks to you
sorry for havent seen it before
thanks
too early? but thxs !
great!! thank you very much for the time and work you spend for the shift communoty!
i m very happy to flash this rom cause french is my native linguage, and it gives to me more compatiblity with french software.
maybe its to early to cook french rom, because htc shift is not easy to finf in french shops... orange is selling it with origami data plans, but its not very popular , finally the best way to get it is to make special order, or to by it from internet .
you should focus your time on english rom, and maybe spanish as its seconf or third language used in the world
Anyway thank you very much fr this rom !!!
by the way i love opera but there are so many release and a few are working well on the htc shift
c u,
The one I have included in rom works pretty well. I might release it also infrench (my native language too )
any progress on phone feature?

I compared the registry files of both Tilt and Shift (I don't have Diamond or Ralpheal) and found some interesting differences in the case of BT, WiFi and SD card. I am going to publish those here in a few hours.
I have not seen much differences in the phone area (registry settings) except missing settings for phone and relevant skin settings under Machine and Current User.
thanks

Problem is not to find registry settings. These are pretty easy to add. This registry can be usefull anyway, but the main problem is that the bios is locking the SD and BT for vista, and even with the right drivers, they will not be activated on WM side. One think that would improve the dev here is to find how this mecanic works.
As for the phone, using a full phone dll and registry doesn't help, as it seems the dll provided with the shift are voice disabled, and using new depend on the radio.

Regarding BT, WiFi and SD that is what I guessed. Since they are shared, only one of them would work at a given time with the given architecture. Regarding phone, my guess also coincides with you. I think we need to have a different radio, but I may be wrong too.
Thanks

RIL proxy, driver and client support Phone Calls

Finger's crossed, the RIL client (celltsp.dll) is same as the one you will find in Kaiser. The RIL proxy, RIL Client etc. are same you will find in Kaiser, only question left for now is whether the Radio i.e. underlying supports voice calls or not.
Thanks

Nice rom thks.
But so bad that the keyboard become an qwerty.
With registry it's fine but you may include it in your update...
BTW, very nice rom. No problem.
Hello
I don't like to act like a noob (especially in the HTC world in which I had a lot of phones without any real problems...), but here I can't make it...
I put the ROM, perfect. But here the things I can't understand :
- can't open the sound from the today view
- usbtool (I really had hard time to find the soft!!!), I can't do nothing with it, there is a sentence "Please plug in cable firest" and I tried "USB_cable_in" but nothing happened... So I can't connect to Vista... Where am I wrong?
I think I can manage the others things, like buttons, qwerty, ... but for the usbtool thing I am really lost... so I use "Internet share" when it is working...
i here alot of people talking about the hero android for the htc fuze but i cant find it. i was wondering if anyone can get the software for me not the theme please

For all your booting android needs, it's a pretty nice setup but I wouldn't count on it for everyday use because a few things don't work yet...
Thats the different between the RAPH, RAPH100, RAPH800, and RAPH & DIAM? I have ATT FUZE, not sure which category that falls under...

I have the AT&T Fuze and I use the one in the RAPH100 category; I believe the RAPH800 is the CDMA version of the Raphael. Regarding the other categories, 'RAPH and DIAM' appears to be an outdated version (v1265 as opposed to RAPH100's v1714) and the 'RAPH' category also appears to be an outdated version (dated 2009-02-19 as opposed to RAPH100's 2009-06-21).
I honestly don't understand why the website decided to categorize the port versions in such a confusing manner.
this doesnt appear to be the hero android.. or am I just downloading the wrong thing here? I followed all the logical links and went to Raph100 and downloaded the file. Looks more like the basic android though NOT the hero Sense OS
Also... are you sure that we are suposed to use Raph100? NOTHING seems to work with the download provided.. I cant make a call no wifi, no GPS, no.. anything. In the previous version I used I was at least able to make a call.... that was like 7 months ago though

Install PointUI. Any version will do but try the latest free version.
Install PointSenseSuite.cab
Enable the UI from Settings -> Today
Select the recently installed theme under Menu -> Customization
Install the PointSense.HomeScreen.cab.
Disable and re-enable the plugin, from Settings -> Today...

And this is where the smart people come in to play to help us yayyyy
ok ... im a little confused .....
I have a rapheal - with NRG Rom using tf3d2. I have purchased SPB MS3, so i tend to not use TF3D anymore.
Ive had a go at Andriod (the connect-utb one) just to have a nosey - obviously it doesnt play nicely yet
This PointUI sense .... is it an overlay of WM6.5 (like TF3D) or is it a bootable OS (like Android) ?
I think my main question is .... is it the Hero OS ? or is it just a WM theme made to look like the hero OS ?
sorry if really noob question ....
PointUI is just a today plug in really.... Much like the old HTC Home or TF3D is.
But what is weird is that people make their phone look like an HTC Hero with what I posted but I have no idea how they do it
Realized I have to install a bunch of things to make it look like the Hero
the third thing you are sposed to install i cant find anywhere even on the main thread for it
Wait until tommorow, for the new release of PointSense UI.
First, install Home 2 here
Then, install Point Sense UI by following the instruction on the site.
Copied right from the site. (Make sure you have Point UI Home 2 installed first)
Install:
- Only for Point UI 2.1.0.6c or higher
- Recommend to install in clean Point UI (You must run Point UI first, accept Terms and activate before install the suite)
- Backup your Home2\Common folder to get back default home screen
- Exit Home 2
- Download cab and install (it may take a long time, because of there're many files to extract)
- Enable Home 2 again
- Select PointSense Theme (for correct color), and add the PointSenseScreen Applets.

i always get stuck at the keyboard its to small lol
Hi everyone, Not been here in awhile, lots has moved on
I am after a Windows Mobile 6.5.1 Rom for My T-Mobile Compact IV (Touch Diamond) but need a recommendation.
I am looking for a Rom that has the following features still in it:
> QuickGPS
> YouTube
> RSS Hub
> Voice Dialing
> Remote Desktop
> Facebook app would be nice
> Windows Live Messenger
> Opera
> Latest (or as close as poss) HTC TouchFlo3d
> Preferably the Manila theme
> Internet Sharing
> Also would like it to be as close as possible to the Official rom as in looks feel and functionaility (ie programs etc) but hopefully improved speed/stability
Oh and I will need to get My TomTom working on it so if that requires something that is part of the OS that can't be removed. Also whats this MTTY? Before I have just use hardspl to use roms is this an alternative???
+ I install Skype as well...
Or would you recommend win mo 7 rom? To be honest I would prob rather stick to 6.5.1 and goto 7 with a new device. Maybe the Diamond 2....
Must be stable as possible and english - I have done plenty of flashing roms on my phone as I have had a few problems with some but not touched 6.5 as of yet (or a 7 release)
Want to begin flashing Sunday, But the other reason for stable is I want the least risk of bricking my device as its the only phone I have and can't afford a new one :-( Waiting for my contract to run out next year....
Is anyone kind enough to be able to recommend a rom to me please?
you mean you want a rom with all those programs included
or just a rom which support those programs when installed?
and wm7 is not out yet not even in beta
Good Morning,
I am looking for those programs to be included in the rom.
Also I know Win7 not released but I thought there was some sort of rom here with win7 leaked or something etc.
Well, I think it's not yet the time for WM6.5.1, at least in Diamond.
I've already tried some rom, result is switching back immediately.
In my opinion, there're so many bugs in 6.5.1 that these cooked roms can't fit for a daily use.
I'm realy love 6.5.1, especially its taskbar. Hope Microsoft will soon release official WM6.5.1 which is more stable than those rom we have.
i've been using BSB 6.5.1D lately and it works like a charm
Yeh I saw the BSB one but wasn't sure about it, I quite like the look of this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=563245
The one titled 'Windows Revolution Manila Edition'
however it has the RSS Hub and RemoteDesktop removed when I want both of them, actually I prob could live without them both. Has anyone thoughts or advice on this rom? Might give it ago later.
I have downloaded the one I linked to but The WWE Clean B version and I'll install the Manila and Remote Desktop, has anyone got a cab for the RSS Hub?
Why don't you try lite/native rom and install whatever you want ?
I'm running CDMA on Sprint, so I am not sure how the GSM version performs in comparison however, I personally have had great luck with EnergyROM, running NRG's October 25th build on 23081.
That being said, there are several people on the forums complaining about lockups on their devices while using this ROM, in particular, when accessing messaging through manila. I however, have yet to experience these problems.
The battery settings do need a bit tweaked though, I personally used the CAB file located at the bottom of this thread: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.php?p=1077887&postcount=6356.
Looking over what you were looking for in a ROM, this does contain all of those, except voice command, which he does have a link for on his ROM page (At least, once again, for the CDMA diamond build)
It might be worth looking into, as the build and presentation of NRG's ROMs do feel very professional. But in the end, it comes down to playing around with various ROMs to see what works, and what dosn't.
Hope I helped!
Edit : His thread over here hasn't been updated since the Sept 20th build (Which had issues), the thread is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=517300
However, the hotfile link for his downloads from that thread, ( http://hotfile.com/list/93325/99ab7ab ) does appear to have the newer Oct 25th build on it. Once again, I recommend trying it out, but it isn't for everyone. When it comes to ROM's, everyone has their own taste and preference, it would seem.
Hi guys, I just got my HTC pure a few days ago, and I'm trying to customize it. However I'm kinda a beginner at this, so I was hoping you guys would be kind enough help me with them. I have a series of question and any help is welcome.
1. How do I rotate the Manila screen? I had the TD2 tools install and it works on some programs. I think lyriquidperfection had already given the answer for this but I cant seem to find it. And if you're kind enough, please tell me how the programs work, coz there's no instruction anywhere.. BTW, the enable manila screen in the TD2 doesn't work and I have Manila 2.1.19183217.0 which the forum said should be able to rotate.
2. I cant get Manila to work with programs like S2P or Mircosoft Word, which is unusual since there programs support landscape view , any help with that?
3. I heard there a way for you to put shortcuts into Home tab, how do you do this? And can you change the background picture of other tabs other than just the home tab and the start menu?
4. At&T sent me a text said that I have to choose a data plan or they will choose one for me, which is a bummer. They changed the regulation in September and I didnt know anything about it. They should've sent mail to all customers about this. They didn't even tell me anything when I upgraded my phone until after the Sim card was activated. Anyway, is there a way to get out of this? if not, I read in the forum there a way for you to use your phone as a modern unnotice by AT&T, is this true?
5. Is there a way for the phone to rotate in more than the 2 default directions? When I check the G-sensor, it detects all directions.
6. The last one is flash ROM, there a ROM in this forum that the guys was able to make the Manila Screen Rotate sideway, and he got the music player rotates too. But I dont really like the look of the whole display. So my question is can I install a ROM and use only parts of it functions while left the others the way it is? And Do you think Flashing ROM is a better solution than using TD2 for G-sensor rotation?
Here a link to the ROM: forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=562942 (I cant post a link since I'm a new user)
Thank you in advance for all your helps!
3) Shortcuts in Manila home screen is a feature of Manila 2.5. You would have to flash to a ROM using this version. It is possible to have the same image in all tabs using one of two methods. Either with bg4alltabs or with HDWall. Search the forum to learn more.
I can't help much with your other questions as most are rotate based and i don't bother with that!
Thanks DirkGently1 for responding . I actually solved number 1, 2, and 5 which are all about rotation. I edited the registry of some programs and used G-config for the rest. Somehow it worked like a charm. For some reasons TD2 Tools didn't seem to work on my phone. For #6, it turned out I have to unlock my phone to be able to Flash ROM and I'm just happy with the way my phone is now so maybe in the future. Still #4, does anyone knows how to get out of the data plan?
Is there such a thing as an original ROM from Microsoft? Would this work on the T2 or would I still need to load drivers and other items to get it to work on AT&T 3G?
6.5.5 or any other similar branch hasn't RTMed from what I know yet. These branches will end up as WM6.6 (WP6.6).
And they are mostly for capacitive touchscren phones, not for our resistive.
Thanks for the reply. Let me re-ask. Where can I find a virgin 6.5.whatever ROM that is close to the base OS from Microsoft before the chefs add their touches? Honestly, I am minimilist and I want to run Titanium with the built in IE and not much else.
Looking at all the ROMs, even the default from HTC, I cannot tell you what is native Windows Mobile and what has been cooked in.
Thanks for your help.
You're gonna have to cook
Get latest build from MS here at Chef Central in huge "Last SYS" thread and dump some stock ROM (2.07) to get drivers. Don't forget to add the base OEM packages as well, like Camera, SensorSDK etc, otherwise most of the stuff like GSensor, ... won't work
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=681667
This is as close as you'll find.

There are a number of stock ROMs in this forum, do a search. However all of these were designed for a specific carrier, and will have the carrier bloatware. MS does not sell their OS directly to the public, so you have to use what the carrier or HTC puts on there.
Actually, it is very simple to remove sense from a stock ROM and rebuild it. Check out the kitchen software programs. The difficult thing about building your own ROM is trying to ADD stuff - that gets complicated.
