Every time I send and receive a new MMS a pop-up bubble appears that shows the phone connecting to media net to send\receive the information. It really annoys the hell out of me every time it does it. Is there a way to remove that MMS pop up notification bubble? Thank you and have a nice day!
yeah, I hate that too. Go to settings\Sounds and Notifications\
under there go to the MMS download and just uncheck the notify by message option.

is it possible to disable notifications. it is pretty annoying to be typing a text or email and have a notification pop up in your way. Also, is it possible to disable the gprs/edge connection window that pops up when the phone is connecting to the edge network or in wifi when it connects to another network?
Go to Settings/Personal/Sound&Notification/Notification tab
Choose each and every one and uncheck the box saying "Display message on screen". I'm not responsible for what you can miss (i'm not sure if you will get the icon in the top task bar any more for new sms for example)
Hope it helps,

About the dialog with connectivity, unchecking the box for "Conection established" will take care of it (i also did this now, seems a good idea)
man i'm an idiot. just showing off what a noob i am i guess. thanks a ton. you guys rock!
how come i disabled the notification & the sound for the voicemail and i still get the text notification?
Hmmm, try unchecking all boxes for voicemail. btw: maybe it's a msg sent by your carrier, which you could disable in phone settings (i think) or call them to make them stop !
I can't test this 'cause i never had any voicemail on any of my phones... i always disable this with my carrier
I am notifications of my servers and switches sent to me via sms message. under sounds and notifications for a new text message i select the sound i want but the "repeat" box is greyed out. i would like to enable this since i may not hear the first sms alert (like when i am sleeping). under the event catagory of reminders i can select repeat but not under new text message. any ideas? is it a reg change i can make?
thanks!

I have the same request, looked around in the registry but can't find a setting for it. Can anyone suggest a solution?
I have the same role fella, the only way I found was through a piece of software called SPB Phone Suit, you can get it to repeat a sound every 5 mins, 10 mins whatever for missed/unread calls and SMS.
Hello all,
I just installed the trial of sms chat onto my tytn-II and whilst it has worked ok for sms I have today hit a problem with an incoming mms message.
I also have the ifonz theme installed so all I am getting is 1 showing next to the task and email icons on the front screen and when I go into sms chat there is a blank mesaage, in normal messaging there is nothing showing but there was the incoming mms signal at the top that you get when an mms is on it's way if that makes sense?
I have tried rebooting the phone and uninstalling sms chat to no avail, the incoming message icon is now gone but the number one is still showing against the icons on the front screen . Anybody seen this before? and is there any way to clear those icons as that is going to drive me mad!
Also sms chat is a bit ugly, I tried pocketcm but did not like the integration with contacts, the other 2 options I have seen are the palm one but I am unsure of the bugs with that and whether it will work 100% or the wm6.1 one which I am assuming will not work on wm6?
Thanks
Just got a new diamond here in Tokyo connected the Softbank network.
It seems whenever I send out an email via Outlook/SMS/S! Mail(Service that allows SMS-like mail to be sent to regular email accounts or other cellphone providers...most people use it here in Japan) I get a "Your mail has been successfully sent" email confirmation everytime I send out a mail. For someone who uses all three services frequently, it tends to get a little annoying
I've downloaded many tweaks and modification applications for the diamond but it seems I'm still not able to find the workaround...
Does anyone know the cure for this or is this a known problem?

This little quirk bothers me too because I want to hit send and then lock the device; unfortunately, when I hit send and lock the device I get a bunch of notifications and the device unlocks itself and random uttones get pressed as its in my pocket.
It may be best to load a WWE rom and sort out the smail using mmslite. Getting JP input working however is another issue.
For the problem with the notifications in softbank's arcsoft mail app, I wonder if there is a registry fix we can do.
solution for successful sent notification(at least for text)
http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-diamondpro-tweak.html
Go to messages, and disable text messages notifications.
Kevbodian, mjz147,
Thanks, I really appriciate your quick response!!
I checked out that Diamond tweak app and its one hell of an applicaiton!
It seems though, when I disabled the text message notification and soft reset, im still getting those alerts after sending MMS/SMS emails.
Is there something wrong with my device or I may have to do some manual modifications via registry? :\
Tried to just disable em in Windows?
Start/Messaging/Menu/Tools/Options/SMS MMS
There you can disable notifications. Atleast for SMS messages for me it works.

I guess I have bad luck when it comes to disabling notification via Windows.
Unlike the US version, my phone doesnt have just one central location for mail but two (Outlook application - used for PC email & SoftBank Mail - used for SMS and MMS...)
So when I looked under the option menu in Outlook tools, I wasnt able to find any SMS/MMS options...
Im sure theres a registry hack that can be used...im not so sure why the diamond tweak app could apply changes to everything except the "turn off notifications" option though...
Was anyone able to solve this issue?
Did you guys try Advanced Config v3.3?
It has a section devoted to messages tweaks.
It does have a tweak that disables notifications.
Greets.

I currently have 3.3 installed and have used it to disable/enable many features on my Diamond. But it seems after I disable the 'SMS delivery notification' and 'SMS sent notification" fields (and soft reboot), it is still showing the sent notifications after sms/s!mail is sent...
As Kevbodian was saying, maybe there is a special reg hack that needs to be done under softbank's arcsoft mail app.
could somebody figure out what change is made when that notification is turned off and turn this into a cab file? the only thing that bothers me is the sound. i dont mind the bubble or the little icon on the top telling me that my sms is sent. thanks
this one is simple and right to the point install it and it doesnt give you the message, you dont have tons of menus to navigate through just that install
also i am simply reposting this app i did not develop it or design it credit goes where credit is due
so this turns off the sound AND the notifications also? thanks
yep no sound and no pop up message after sending one
i hope it helps
almost tempted to figure out how cab files work (arent they just reg edits?) and maybe try to see if i can change it myself. i like having the notifications (bubble and little icon on the top) but the sound can be annoying at times,
Edit1: also i just installed advanced config 3.3 and the notification thing works for me.
Edit2: also search "kraiser tweak" and you will find it has settings for this. a lot of settings actually for just the thing you are talking about. now we just need to find the edits in the registry because i dont really like having 2 configuration programs on my phone. (advance config, and kraiser tweak)
Edit3: ok i found this on the wiki....Disable SMS Sent Notification
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings] Set SMSNoSentMsg to 1
.....so does this mean if it was changed to a 2,3,or 4 that would change the action of it? im really trying to look into this.....if you cant tell haha
I have a constant on SMS "bubble" on the Home screen SMS Icon showing 1 SMS when there isnt one, the slider has no issues and works as advertised. Any Ideas on how to get that to go away. Thanks.

Soft reset.
how do u guys turn off the sound when sending sms? whenever after my sms is sent, there will be a pop out window stating 'sms sent' and there will be a sound. how do i switch off tt function?
Search!
There are loads of references to disabling the SMS Sent notification on the forum - you can do it in registry or by using something like TD2 Tools.
Personally, I'm trying to get the notification BACK, as occasionally I miss the fact that an SMS hasn't gone!
Cant find any help
I was searching the whole forum for a while and I could not find anything on how to remove the sound when an SMS is sent, I reset my phone and I remember getting the sound to go away just by doing something on the phone and not downloading anything but I cant remember how I did it
Can anyone help by telling me step by step instructions on how to get rid of the sms sent sound notification (Alarm2)
