anyone experienced with making their own shortcuts with anycut? i was trying to figure it out, but im not a programmer and it would take me a loooong time to figure out the intents
from what i can tell you can connect to the copmuter and adb shell logcat to see what intents are run when you do certain things. i haven't bothered to figure any specific ones out but that should help you figure some stuff

Hi all,
I've been playing around and setup a Mortplayer link as one of the HTC Home applications to launch.
However after doing that, I now cannot get to it, as everytime I press the launcher tab my device reboots.
Anyone know where/how I can remove this faulty icon/program link so can recover it? I'm guessing its either a shortcut or a registry, but if somebody has the knowledge would be handy
Cheers
For the sake of completeness in the forums, I did find a way of sorting this out.
I grabbed a copy of 'Home Configurator' and that let me change the rogue element and sorted the problem.
For anyone elses information, don't put a Mortplayer script into your launch buttons!!
Hi All,
I hope someone is able to help or point me in the direction of a hack or some software to help.
Basically i use windows mobile task manager alot and any task i create i make a reminder, what i want to know is if anyone knows if their is a way i can sort the display of the tasks so that they are ordered by the reminder time.
I have played around with Due Date but if there is multiple tasks on one date they are sorted alphabetically.
I hope some can help i think i have OCD as this little thing bothers me
Hi,
my answer will be a bit off-topic as I do not answer your question, but have you ever tried the freeware SponnDo (same creator as SponnAlarm). This soft covers the normal WinMo tasks manager interface and makes it finger friendlier and so on.
I do not recall if such an option as you're looking for was available but worth the try.
thanks for the reply, i will check it out
Basically this is a question on how to make an app.
What I want it to do:
Basic funtionality is scan a webdirectory and list files found.
Then user has option to download file and install.
Want to make one like the theme installer in ahome
Currently use the browser to do this but think an app would be neet.
Or if someone can walk me through using smali to know how they did it.
Not trying to rip the launcher but just the install from web function.
Basically learning little by little how to.
If someone can point me on a book or tutorial on how to greatly appreciate it.
Currently going to start taking a course on unix and linux so hopefully that helps me understand this more.
Motive:
To make apps to give back from what I received.
And if I can help in anyway I want to.
Hello everyone!
Just wanted to introduce myself. Just got my first Windows Mobile phone a few weeks ago. I went with Verizon's HTC Ozone, as it was free and fit my budget perfectly.
Haven't had a whole lot of time to troubleshoot alternatives and solutions to some of my problems, figured I'd list them out in here as I browse the fourms for the answers. If anyone knows the fix for any of this off hand please let me know!
My device is running Windows Mobile 6.5. I understand the memory management on this device does not automatically close programs. This is cool for things like webpages and such that I'd like to multitask on. But when I want to close out of a page making noise, or application producing noise in the background going through all programs -) task manager -) end task can be an inconvience. Is there anyway to close programs via a short cut?
And is there any sort of alt+tab like feature to browse between programs in the memory so I don't have to explore to them to re-up the window?
Also, I've been trying to get morphgear to work as a GBA emulator. It installs and opens but I have 0 control after that. I can open a settings menu but I can't save the changes and if I hit a txt box I am stuck.
Sorry if these are noob questions, I'd look them up myself if I had the time. But I look forward to learning from these fourms and hopefully contributing in some way myself.
Thanks!
Hey, Hoping you will be able to help me with this..
Currently developing a windows form application that will be used to listen to certain events in a github repo (mainly push).
I have been struggling with this for a few days now and still have no code to show for this apart from the popup that will show  was hoping someone would be able to point me in the right direction to achieve this.
Its been mentioned to use webhooks? However I'm not sure if these work with windows forms?
I have looked at octokit and this doesn't look to achieve this either. (or I need a bit of a better tutorial =/).
Would anyone be able to help me out with some sort of demo or a point in the right direction with how to get a windows form to listen to a push event from github?
I know it sounds like im saying please just do this for me, I'm not.. I want to do it but could do with a clearer idea of how too.
Many thanks,
Andy
