The first Win Mo I got was Krome IQ200,
then switched to Krome IQ700,
then O2 Xda Mini
then I mate SPV3
then Wizard,
then Prophet,
then Dopod 600 which I have got now too.
Finally I have got HTC Touch, Atom, Artemis, Orbit now.
N it seems Im senior in terms of subscription to this forum.

Been a member here since a few years (for some reason my old id got deleted during an upgrade... I think!)....
Anyhow, I've used pretty much all the pocketpc's till date (shown on the site) except The Shift and 7510 (16gb).
Ive used just two or three Smartphones though...(I'm not a smartphone fan at all - though the StarTrek was kinda cool).
I change my PPC every week/s go back to old , back to new - so you'll see me posting about pretty much wherever I want (based on what I'm using at that time).
I'm located in Ahmedabad (physical), mentally its purely online
Personally I feel my favourite of all the devices come out to be
1) Universal
2) Advantage (7501) - 8GB / Black
3) Kaiser (TYTNII)
Im currently using a TYTNII but think I'm going to go get a universal again..hopefully get it converted to 128MB....

I bought a o2 XDA Stellar a few days ago.
but i dont want the o2 branded stuff on it, is there anyway to change the phone so it runs just the basic HTC stuff?
and how do i get windows mobile 6.1 on it, as o2 dont seem to want to reply to any of my emails.

You need a new ROM (one with WM6.1 in it).
Start reading here for all the answers. It will take some time though

Hello all..... There is a rumour that t-mobile will be releasing an update Rom for the mda iv.... "Absolute rubbish" and even if they did it would probably be as bad as the current stock Rom...
For all those that are using the stock Rom.... Sort it out.. How dear you insult the diamond with this Rom. Thanks to the chief's here at XDA we can now benefit from this bad ass mobile...
I read a post buy someone (can't remember who) and they quoted that the chief's here at XDA have made the Diamond "A MANS BEST FRIEND" how true this statement is...!
On a serious note... If you want to see your Diamond sparkle then you have to polish it, and this can only be done by the guys here at xda...!
To Panosha, dutty, bepe and all the other chiefs that are keeping the diamond real...! I thank you sooooooo much...!
can xda IIi be upgraded to win 6.5 or 6.1 at least? i have himalaya and im planning to upgrade to alpine.. thanks.. regards
The Alpine cannot and will not be able to run any version of WM except 2003. Despite the Himalaya and Alpine sharing the same physical case the internal hardware has nothing in common.
This issue has been covered in countless threads in this forum.

over the pass maybe say 2yrs,
with interest i have keeped a lookout for a rom upgarde for my old XDA 11i and also i've read heaps of request to upgrade the Apline to WWE 5, 6.1 and so on, and have had many laughts and all your replys.
i had to add this comment, people will just not take "" no it can't be upgraded "".

Hi all,
After many years of faithful service, I have a O2 XDA IIi and XDA II units which I am willing to donate to any one of you developers for ROM cooking purposes.
The battery for the XDA IIi is just about done while the speaker for the XDA II is no longer operating. Aside from that, they are both good units to play around with for ROM cooking purposes if anyone is interested.
I am in Sydney, Australia and am happy to mail it to someone preferably in Australia but can always mail it to an Asian country or the USA\Canada at the very most.
Send me an email to [email protected] along with your name, your mailing address and which one of the XDA IIi or XDA II unit(s) you would like to have.

i don't especially mind if it's broken in some places, but would really appreciate it if you'd pick me as the lucky guy who'd receive your XDAs for the development of new "cooked" roms, and possibly some new apps for them.
