ok i have the htc touch pro for alltel and i was wondering what i all need to make a "simple black" theme. i found some apps and stuff but wondering if we could discuss what all is needed for this to happen over the whole phone...thanks!

so far i have gotten this far. i cant go any further because i think i need to do some manila editing and have no idea how to do that. this is what i got so far with cab files and apps
please help all it seems i have to change now is the font color.......any help?

Hello everyone.
I installed psShutXP v0.29 and it is working great (except for Turn off device option). When I was testing different ROMs, one came with a very nice skin (black/white I think with a snow flake for "reset" or something like that). I can't seemed to find it anyone. Does anyone happened to have it extracted and can tell me where to put it to make it work? Or maybe someone has a cab with that skin already merged. I would really appreciate it, just want to customize my setting to match the theme! Thanks.

I'd love to help you....but your request is really broad. Try to narrow it down a little...like applications that can perform specific tasks. The amount of customization you can do to a WM device is almost limitless. If you don't have any in mind right now...look around....check some forums out online. I'm sure you'll come across applications that would make you go...'hmmm....I'd like to have that' That's where xda devs comes in

what kind of customization are u looking for? Are u trying to get a completly new theme? Remove some tabs from the touch flo? You need to be more specific about about what you would like to customize. Like what are you exactly looking to do?

Get diamond tf3d config. Browse the diamond forums for themes. Install them via diamond tf3d config if it's a file that ends in .theme. Some of them will be cabs, which you just install. On my phone, I installed a .theme file, then a cab to change the clock, and then a cab to hide the top curtain... all of which I found in the diamond forums. Lot's of good information for customizing in the diamond forums. Anything else specific you want to customize, just do a search.
ok i got Diamond TF3D Config. working. But what do i do from here. It has no themes.
I've flashed my TP and I have been missing the default Verizon TF3D theme. I've been Googling and searching here and and even made a post at PPC geeks but still did not find it. I was wondering if it was possible to find it in a theme file to use with TF3D Config? I was told one of my options is to cook a rom with that particular OEM included which is above my skill level. I'm also looking for the Alltel brown theme with the black slider. Any help would be appreciated.
Keep looking on this forum its there. I don't remember where though. Also you have a CDMA touch pro so you shouldn't be flashing roms.
Why do you say I shouldn't be flashing roms? Flashing to Scott Croslers rom was the best decision I've made so far.

What theme is this? I'm not sure how I got it.
FYI I installed THIS theme and it basically looked like the "default" theme for a while, but it somehow converted into the attached. Plus I don't see anything I can uninstall that looks unusual.
BTW I have a Samsung Omnia II (SCH-i920).
Does anyone know or is it just too stupid of a question?
Also how can I go back to the default theme like this??

I am trying to skin my Fuze. The manilla files wont overwrite. Tried Rescoe, Total Commander, everything. There is a checkbox that says "in Rom" in Rescoe. Does this mean I can't change them.
I want to skin with "Dirty Paper" does anyone have any ideas or seen this before? Rom is 1.95

did you try that with manila disabled? that can solve it if it was enabled. just an idea

I was able to get this skin working on the stock ATT rom. Too scared to flash it still.
These are the cabs I found on this site that worked for me:

They are much better than the nasty gray ATT Touchflo theme. Thanks to all who created.
Next question - Is there any way to change the contacts background to resemble the Diamond background of the theme I am using. It would be a lot nicer than the plain white. I have searched high and low and can't seem to find.
