[ROM][WWE]Davideuck_V-7, CE OS 5.2.20769,New Menus,CommManager...[29.3.09, UPDATED]!!

Hi all,
this is my V-7, as I've said in one post, I've read some comments in this thread and I've seen that some people still prefer a rom with the old Manila due to the better stability, speed and ram management respect the new roms with the new Manila. So,
I've decided to update this rom version too.
The rom is like V-6 but with some fixes and improvements.
First thing, I've reverted to 15086 build for Opera, stable and fast, like we have seen on V-5. I've leaved the new keyboard
and calculator from Rhodium and added some new feature that could be really usefull. In this case I've decided to include the new menu enhancement and the new commManager with all its extensions from Rhodium.
I've updated Mp3Trimmer too.
That's all, I hope you'll appreciate this, I think this should be a rom to have. For sure many of you want to try new roms with
new stuff, this is obvious, but this rom will be a good one to turn back becouse I think it's full working.

You can choose between two versions:
- MSVC, this is builded with Microsoft Voice Command, full working on this rom, incoming call notification too
- CVSD, this is builded with Cyberon Voice Speed Dial, like some official roms

To turn back on the original theme from V-1 or V-3, use the attached Manila-Standard_Theme.zip, extract the files, copy these to the device, disable TF3D from Settings>Today>Items, and copy these files into Windows folder using Total Commander. Then you can restart TF3D.

Just one question: why the GPSPollInterval change? I am afraid that Navigon will not work, and i am quite skeptic you see an improvement....do you?
In my ROM i had to put it to 3000 ms to have Navigon working without mortscript scripts...maybe i am wrong, since i didn't try to change to smaller delays...

I've HD from few days, I've tried only TOMTOM7 and it seems to work good in this way and many people have changed PollInterval(I've read from many italian forums), and they say to see the difference. I've never used navigon. In the next days I'll try IGO8, that seems to have the best graphics, I'll let you know.

what do you mean with:
Solved Active Sync always running bug(I've changed some modules

If you try shipped roms and some cooked too, you will see active sync always running. This is a little bug of these new builds then I've changed some modules related on A.S. and this problem is solved.

Agreed: It has been present in all cooked ROM's I've tried too. Very annoying and and I'd rather have the resources for applications/modules I want running.

I figured it out.
All though, even when language is set to "English" not everything is in english. (IE programs, settings, etc).
:/ wish we could fix that.

Settings Error
I like the rom since it has some cool features. However, I cannot get into the settings at all. It says "Error - The settings could not be opened" along with many other errors. The contacts for searching them does not correspond with the right keys. Cool sim manager and audio manager. Security center has run off on the screen and does not have all of the info on certain things. Anyways thanks for the rom.

file not found
When I tried to extract the file after download, it says wrong pass, although I entered the pass mentioned in the first post.
Again I tried re download, but it says file was deleted.

EDIT : Ok. I found the reason

Version 1.1 added to first post to address HTC dialer and Manila files.

I hope v1.1 will solve the problem. see the attached files. [ except I used custom wall paper]

Yes I hope so too bud, sorry for the mix up everything seems ok now although I need as much feedback as possible to create a nice balanced ROM.
As for your screenshots, apart from the dialer and Manila (which I have addressed) what is the issue there?

No problem at all, I just mentioned that how the ROM was.

Did you fix the "setting Icon" appears twice in the start menu?

V1.1 runs like a charm, except the incoming caller ID problem, that too have been fixed in V1.2, so no problem at all, I'll stay with your rom for a while.

just tried this one : fastest ever. So impressive! everything is faster, games, coreplayer,...
too bad I have some bugs : no ISP autoconfig at install, and very anoying : selection of first level folders (like folders in root of SD carde) in Total commander and File Explorer does not work. I have to long press and until the litle circle starts to draw and relax before it finishes to draw; its the only way I found. Don't know if I'm clear.
Can someone confirm?

There is a reg fix somewhere around here to fix the folder click problem,

This ROM rocks!
I had some old vertical shooters that did not work on several 28011/NEO's driver pack 3 ROMs (well, they worked but did not show nothing on screen) that work again on this one, and so fast !!

I don't know why people are so happy with the rom. My version is full of bugs..
Can people confirm, maybe i have a bad download and a bad flash 3x
-music tab can't find music
- music tab and photo don't rotate.
- There are lot's of interesting new icons in Manila, and the tabs are empty, so they are nice and useless..
- every startup there is a mortscript error..
- footprints cannot import
I have played for half an hour, so i am afraid there will be lots more..

This helps all of us who flash our mini almost every day to install programs without having to do something,create shortcuts copy files etc.
Here is what you have to do.
1. Create folders in your storage card exactly as the following structure
XDA_UC
XDA_UC\Manual
XDA_UC\Copy2Root
XDA_UC\Run
XDA_UC\Execute
"XDA_UC" is a place for all .cab, .reg, .mscr, .cer files that should be automatically installed to device.
"Manual" is a place for all cab files you want install in usual "visible" mode with all questions.
"Copy2Root" is a place for all files and folders that should be automatically copied to device.
"Run" is a place for you self-extracting archives.
"Execute" is a place for you self-extracting archives if you want to continue customization while them working.
2. download the uc_net_v0.9.4.0..zip file and extract it in your storage card.
3. run UC_NET.exe from the folder above and select your XDA_UC folder and press customize button.
Here is an example for shortcuts
If we have a file called backup.exe on a folder in our storage card called test we have to create a file called uc_net_CreateShortcuts.txt
Inside this file we have to add the following line
Environment.SpecialFolder.Programs\backup.lnk="\StorageManager.Profiles.SDMemory\test\backup.exe"
The name of the link can be anything.
The file uc_net_CreateShortcuts.txt must to be placed in folder xda_uc.
For registry entries the name can be ????????.reg.

- Nice boot screen

- Dinik icons are not easy to use on clear backgrounds
- I miss some of the original backgrounds
- Blue keyboard is not well colored
- In Start menu lost of a little fluidity... (I think it's about the Dinik graphic icons)

As for the (-) i'm here to improve the rom with the comments.
What do you exaclty mean with not well colored?Can you suggest something to see if can make it?
If you need the old backgrounds i can upload them for you(or cook them in a next version).

About the language question I´m about to change my mind... About the alternative of having my native language in the ROM.
I think it´s better, and I would appreciate it more, to have a ROM that´s always on the edge of development!
Understand me right, it´s kind of you offering this, BUT instead of spending those hours it would be better if the users of the cooked ROMS could use WWE-ROMS.
This is my state, no offense, good luck!

I think that we'll be the best.As you can se i'm from Greece and i'm using wwe rom.This is my first attempt to making roms and believe me that i spend a lot of time cooking.I'm going to release and another language that most people vote.
